The importance of research is to provide a description of wastewater content in Makassar polytechnics in the kitchen, through  experimental research methods, by taking wastewater samples from practical kitchens, laboratory test results provide results data obtained from chemical Oxygen Demand supply, wastewater discharged directly into sewers Will not meet the requirements for wastewater quality standards. The wastewater treatment model in polytechnics is still not feasible and is not environmentally friendly, steps need to be taken to make wastewater installations.

Experimental research and engineering validation show concentrated activated sludge reflow stead of traditional reflow way still meets the national discharge standard, though the treatment efficiency of wastewater plant is slightly declined and further show concentrated activated sludge reflow process used in energy saving and consumption reduction of small-sized wastewater treatment plant is feasible.

Within the scope of a research programme into wastewater treatment scenarios based on physical-chemical pretreatment, the application of direct influent filtration (DIF) as a first treatment step in a wastewater treatment system was investigated. The aim of the experimental research was to investigate the feasibility of DIF as a pretreatment step for advanced particle removal. With a large scale pilot-plant filter at WWTP Leiden-Noord, The Netherlands the removal characteristics for suspended and colloidal material were investigated as well as operational conditions of eight different filter configurations. From the experimental research it was concluded that filtration of raw wastewater is possible, notwithstanding the relatively short runtimes due to clogging. In general, the filters produced a filtrate with a constant quality with low concentrations of solids and low turbidity. Without addition of chemicals hardly any colloids and solubles were retained, but only suspended particulates were removed. After dosage of iron or polymer, it was possible to remove more suspended matter and a high proportion of colloidal material. Finally it was concluded that DIF could be applied as a compact treatment system to produce a high quality primary effluent with a constant composition, but for practical application further research has to be done.

This article presents the results of experimental studies on the use of Chlorella microalgae for wastewater treatment from the most common mineral pollutants. The influence of the mineral pollutants, namely anions HSO3- , NO3 - , H2PO4 - on the dynamics of wastewater treatment has been established. Analytical dependences of microalgae biomass growth rate depending on pollutant concentration HSO3- , NO3 - , H2PO4 - and are obtained. The values of biomass growth coefficients at the corresponding pollutant concentrations are determined. Based on the obtained experimental research results, mathematical models have been constructed that allow predicting the maximum values of mineral pollutants concentrations at which effective wastewater treatment by chlorophyllsynthesizing microalgae is possible. The technological scheme of wastewater treatment from mineral pollutants and the mechanism of the obtained application biomass are proposed.
