The need for LCD projectors is very urgent, so even though they often experience shortcomings, it is impossible to continue to make purchases when needed to repair LCD projectors that require high costs such as buying a new device. Software development from the results of this study is not only beneficial for educational institutions but also for personal or specific institutions and institutions who want to conduct seminars, presentations, or other activities that involve many audiences. The advantage is that the audience will not experience problems such as when using an LCD projector, such as limited visibility, location or space, and the viewpoint of the audience on the Projector LCD / Screen. Another contribution that can be given from this research is a model of the teaching and learning process in real-time without using an LCD and only using a PC/ Laptop connected to the same LAN. It is a development of research that supports the concept of green computing because it also reduces the use of equipment LCD projector, but the usage function remains the same even more effective and interactive even without the device. Presentation model like this is the development of new models in the learning process using LAN networks but without using the internet connection and is the cross-platform model. This research can be the answer to the need for using LCD projectors that often occur in the process of education, meetings, or seminars that continue to increase every time. Also, the lack of LCD compared to the number of teaching needs in each class and the unstable electricity conditions and the low electricity ratio in East Nusa Tenggara, have resulted in frequent blackouts suddenly, so that makes the device LCD vulnerable to damage. The test results showed an increase in RTT along with the increasing number of servers conducting presentation activities. Testing on LAN networks with the same number of clients on each test shows that there was an increase of 18% and 75% in each addition to the number of servers. The best performance of Powerplan is still shown when the number of servers that present several five, with the response time of each client connected under two seconds.

This report focusses on the planning and realization of an interdisciplinary local area network (LAN) for medical research at the University of Heidelberg. After a detailed requirements analysis, several networks were evaluated by means of a test installation, and a cost-performance analysis was carried out. At present, the LAN connects 45 (IBM-compatible) PCs, several heterogeneous mainframes (IBM, DEC and Siemens) and provides access to the public X.25 network and to wide-area networks for research (EARN, BITNET). The network supports application software that is frequently needed in medical research (word processing, statistics, graphics, literature databases and services, etc.). Compliance with existing “official” (e.g., IEEE 802.3) and “de facto” standards (e.g., PostScript) was considered to be extremely important for the selection of both hardware and software. Customized programs were developed to improve access control, user interface and on-line help. Wide acceptance of the LAN was achieved through extensive education and maintenance facilities, e.g., teaching courses, customized manuals and a hotline service. Since requirements of clinical routine differ substantially from medical research needs, two separate networks (with a gateway in between) are proposed as a solution to optimally satisfy the users’ demands.

Now a days in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) used in different fields because its well-suited simulator and higher flexibility. The concept of WLAN  with  advanced 5th Generation technologies, related to a Internet-of-Thing (IOT). In this project, representing the Network Simulator (NS-2) used linked-level simulators for Wireless Local Area Networks and still utilized IEEE 802.11g/n/ac with advanced IEEE 802.11ah/af technology. Realization of the whole Wireless Local Area Networking linked-level simulators inspired by the recognized Vienna Long Term Evolution- simulators. As a outcome, this is achieved to link together that simulator to detailed performances of Wireless Local Area Networking with Long Term Evolution, operated in the similar RF bands. From the advanced 5th Generation support cellular networking, such explore is main because different coexistences scenario can arise linking wireless communicating system to the ISM and UHF bands.

Microstrip antenna which designed with dual feeding at 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz can meet WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) application.Antenna fabrication use PCB FR4 double layer with thickness 1.6 mm and dielectric constant value 4.4. The length of patch antenna according to calculation 28.63 mm, but to get needed parameter length of patch should be optimized to 53 mm. After examination, this antenna has VSWR 1.212 at 2.42 GHz and 1.502 at 5.8 GHz, RL -13.94 dB at 2.42 GHz and -20.357 dB at 5.8 GHz, gain of antenna 6.16 dB at 2.42 GHz and 6.91 dB at 5.8 GHz, the radiation pattern is bidirectional. Keywords : microstrip antenna, wireless LAN, dual polarization, single feeding technique

This study aims to design a LAN network for data backup systems that are in accordance with certain aspects such as the selection of network design, network hardware, network transmission media, network connection devices, and network operating systems. Data is the most important thing for everyone, data can usually be reused even though it has not been used for some time, and therefore data storage is a serious problem that must be considered. Data on the server computer is very important to be maintained so that a backup process is needed on that data to another computer that is used as a backup in the event of damage to the hardware and software of the server computer. FTP is one of the solutions to the problems faced above, where FTP can be used to process the download and upload between the server and client computers. This design uses the Autobot system. The expected benefit in designing this LAN is that the existing network at SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru is not only used by employees and employees but can be used and enjoyed by teachers and students to access the internet anywhere as long as it is still within the scope of the SMP Negeri 6 area Pekanbaru.
