Despite a universal immunization program, pertussis has persisted and resurged, and is of particular concern for infants in terms of morbidity and mortality. Here, we report the genome sequence of aBordetella pertussisstrain with the virulence-associated allelic variantptxP3, isolated from a 45-day-old infant.

ABSTRACTIn recent years,Staphylococcus epidermidishas become a major nosocomial pathogen and the most common cause of intravascular catheter-related bacteremia, which can increase morbidity and mortality and significantly affect patient recovery. We report a draft genome sequence ofStaphylococcus epidermidisAU12-03, isolated from an intravascular catheter tip.

ABSTRACT Mycobacteriosis can cause morbidity and mortality and is characterized as a disease with zoonotic potential that is found worldwide in both fresh and marine fish. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Mycobacterium pseudoshottsii strain AR, an isolate recovered from infected meagre (Argyrosomus regius) raised on farms in Greece.

Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Pseudorhodobacter sp. strain E13, a Gram-negative, aerobic, nonflagellated, and rod-shaped bacterium which was isolated from the Yellow Sea in South Korea. The assembled genome sequence is 3,878,578 bp long with 3,646 protein-coding sequences in 159 contigs.

ABSTRACT The draft genome sequence of Saccharomonospora sp. strain LRS4.154, a moderately halophilic actinobacterium, has been determined. The genome has 4,860,108 bp, a G+C content of 71.0%, and 4,525 open reading frames (ORFs). The clusters of PKS and NRPS genes, responsible for the biosynthesis of a large number of biomolecules, were identified in the genome.
