SUMMARYIn this paper, a pseudoinverse-type bi-criteria minimization scheme is proposed and investigated for the redundancy resolution of robot manipulators at the joint-acceleration level. Such a bi-criteria minimization scheme combines the weighted minimum acceleration norm solution and the minimum velocity norm solution via a weighting factor. The resultant bi-criteria minimization scheme, formulated as the pseudoinverse-type solution, not only avoids the high joint-velocity and joint-acceleration phenomena but also causes the joint velocity to be near zero at the end of motion. Computer simulation results based on a 4-Degree-of-Freedom planar robot manipulator comprising revolute joints further verify the efficacy and flexibility of the proposed bi-criteria minimization scheme on robotic redundancy resolution.

Thick films of poly(vinyl chloride)(PVC)& PVC doped with Zn(etx)2 salt complex have been prepared by cast method with fixed thickness almost (120±5) Microns. Optical studies were carried out in the wavelengths region(200-900)nm based on absorption & transmition measurement. Optical parameters such as absorption coefficient(?) ,refraction index(n) and extinction coefficient(K) were observed to be effected by adding the dopant.Electrical parameters such as real(?)& imaginary(?) part of dielectric constant were also calculated part of dielectric constant were also calculated from the optical parameters using Maxwell equation.

Let Ω⊂Rn n>1 and let p,q≥2. We consider the system of nonlinear Dirichlet problems equation* brace(Au)(x)=Nu′(x,u(x),v(x)),x∈Ω,r-(Bv)(x)=Nv′(x,u(x),v(x)),x∈Ω,ru(x)=0,x∈∂Ω,rv(x)=0,x∈∂Ω,endequation* where N:R×R→R is C1 and is partially convex-concave and A:W01,p(Ω)→(W01,p(Ω))* B:W01,p(Ω)→(W01,p(Ω))* are monotone and potential operators. The solvability of this system is reached via the Ky–Fan minimax theorem.

AbstractThe machinery of Lie theory (groups and algebras) is applied to the unsteady equations of motion of rotating fluid. A special-function type solution for the steady state is derived. It is then shown how the solution generates an infinite number of time-dependent solutions via three arbitrary functions of time. This algebraic structure also provides the mechanism to search for other solutions since its character is inferred from the basic equations.
