We analysed the factors influencing the level of cross-border tourism from Brunei Darussalam to Eastern Malaysia based on a random survey of 675 Bruneian residents returning from land and sea trips to Eastern Malaysia and using simple statistical and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that the age of the respondents, personal income, perceived quality of Eastern Malaysia as a better place to rest and relax, perceived quality of goods and services in Eastern Malaysia, use of alcohol by respondents and having family members and friends living in Eastern Malaysia were significant factors affecting the number of visits to Eastern Malaysia. This analysis was based on visits over the 12-month period prior to the survey, a period of relative price stability. Regression analysis of personal expenditures on goods and services of respondents during their most recently completed trip indicated that personal income, travelling with friends, number of days spent on the trip, perception of Eastern Malaysia as a better place to rest and relax and use of public transport were the significant factors affecting expenditures. We estimated that Bruneian residents spent about B$426 million a year on goods and services while visiting Eastern Malaysia, and this amount accounted for roughly 5.7% of Brunei's gross domestic product (GDP) in the year 2000.

Abstract Service quality is an important element in assessing the ability of institutions to meet its goals. The objective of this paper is to examine the factors that probably affect the quality of service for zakat institution, especially in Sepang using the SERVQUAL model which has five factors; reliability, react, assurance, empathy and tangible. A total of 103 respondents from Muslim entrepreneurs have participated in this study. This study uses several approaches, including exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and logistic regression analysis. Findings indicate that empathy and tangible are significant factors affecting the quality of service LZS in model studied. Several implications have been discussed in this study. Keywords : LZS’s service quality, Muslim entrepreneurs, SERVQUAL Abstrak Kualiti perkhidmatan adalah satu elemen penting dalam menilai keupayaan institusi untuk memenuhi matlamatnya. The aims of this research are to analyse the factors influenced production of tobacco and  to count the tobacco productivity.  This research  applies a descriptive method and multiple regression analysis. Result of research indicates that level of input usage, production rate and level of productivity, quality of tobacco type Muntilanan has experienced a drastic degradation from the year 2005 to 2009. Hereinafter level of input usage experiences upsurge, although some inputs still experience a degradation. Number of partnership member, seed, NPK Fertil/Basal, Ortheen/Roteen 75 SP, Marcis, Hylan/ Suckericide Prime Plus, years of 2006, years of 2007, years of 2008 and years of 2009 are significant factors affecting production while number of partnership member,Seed, NPK Fertil/Basal, KNO3, Hylan/ Suckericide Prime Plus, Marcis, Year of 2006, and Year of 2009 are important factors to affect productivity. Keywords: muntilanan tobacco type, production factors, productivity, partnership

The conus medullaris typically terminates at the L1 level; however, variations in its level and the factors associated with the conus medullaris level are unclear. We investigated the level of conus medullaris on magnetic resonance imaging in healthy volunteers. In total, 629 healthy adult volunteers (≥50 individuals of each sex and in each decade of age from 20 to 70) were enrolled. The level of the conus medullaris was assessed based on the T2-weighted sagittal magnetic resonance images, and factors affecting its level were investigated employing multivariate regression analysis including the participants’ background and radiographical parameters. L1 was the most common conus medullaris level. Participant height was significantly shorter in the caudally placed conus medullaris (p = 0.013). With respect to the radiographical parameters, pelvic incidence (p = 0.003), and pelvic tilt (p = 0.03) were significantly smaller in participants with a caudally placed conus medullaris. Multiple regression analysis showed that the pelvic incidence (p < 0.0001) and height (p < 0.0001) were significant factors affecting the conus medullaris level. These results indicated that the length of the spinal cord varies little among individuals and that skeletal differences affect the level of the conus medullaris.

The secondary traumatic stress (STS) of nurses caring for COVID-19 patients is expected to be high, and it can adversely affect patient care. The purpose of this study was to examine the degree of STS of nurses caring for COVID-19 patients, and we identified various factors that influence STS. This study followed a descriptive design. The data of 136 nurses who had provided direct care to COVID-19 patients from 5 September to 26 September 2020 were collected online. Hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors influencing STS. Participants experienced moderate levels of STS. The regression model of Model 1 was statistically significant (F = 6.21, p < 0.001), and the significant factors influencing STS were the duration of care for patients with COVID-19 for more than 30 days (β = 0.28, p < 0.001) and working in an undesignated COVID-19 hospital (β = 0.21, p = 0.038). In Model 2, the factor influencing STS was the support of a friend in the category of social support (β = −0.21, p = 0.039). The nurses caring for COVID-19 patients are experiencing a persistent and moderate level of STS. This study can be used as basic data to treat and prevent STS.

Although other supporting factors available and adequate, but a style of leadership that is not a right actually make available resources be made of no effect. A style of its own leadership determined by a variety of factors influence it. Methods used in this study is the quantitatif approach to technique data processing using regression analysis. The factors causing as variable 1 ) situation; 2) experience and vision of leader: 3) vision (the foundation of education ); 4), communication and 5 ) cultural organization and leadership style as variable bound. The research results show that simultaneously all of these issues having a level the influence of as much as 0,947 ( extremely powerful category with the influence of as much as 89,8 %.

Market reaction to surprises in earnings announcements has long been used to measure the quality of the information content of the announcement, and studies have explored various factors affecting the response. This study adds to this body of research by factoring in the level of corporate social responsibility (CSR) exhibited by the firm and employs a relatively new measure of a company’s level of CSR, rankings published by JUST Capital. I hypothesize that financial information reported by higher ranked companies is weighed more heavily by investors than those reported by non-ranked or lower-ranked companies. Using earnings response coefficients as a measure of the perceived quality of the financial information reported by the firms, my results provide direct support of the hypothesis, indicating that the market reacts more strongly to earnings surprises for firms with high JUST rankings than for unranked firms or firms with lower rankings. This result contributes new insights into the impact of a firm’s CSR in terms of the perceived quality of a firm’s financial reporting.

This study investigated the theory of residential mobility in terms of quality of life, focusing on convenience and the urban environment. The evaluation items (e.g., the accessibility to infrastructure, security, the environment, and social relationships) were selected based on previous studies, and a one-way ANOVA was conducted. The Korea Housing Survey was used to obtain data on the evaluations of homeowners who migrated to Seoul (the capital of South Korea) and to the surrounding metropolitan area (Gyeong-in). The regression analysis identified the factors affecting the overall satisfaction with the two destinations. The group that had migrated from Gyeong-in to Seoul was more satisfied with the medical, public, cultural, and transportation facilities than the group that had migrated from Seoul to Gyeong-in. Differences were also found between the two groups in the factors affecting their overall satisfaction with the migration destination. Factors such as satisfaction with transportation, commercial facilities, and cultural facilities affected the overall satisfaction with both destinations. However, homeownership affected the dependent variables only in Gyeong-in. The implications for potential improvements to infrastructure and housing distribution are discussed.
