<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>This literature review explores the Open Innovation of SME companies, their application, success factors, impact, and challenges. The theoretical framework is built starting from the definition, a critical pillar, and Open Innovation in SME companies. The main factor in the Open Innovation process stage is finding innovative ideas and establishing network access with the external environment. Balanced, systematic, and thorough collaboration is the key to this process. Although European scholars have done it quite a lot, the study of literature on Open Innovation in SMEs still could continue to be developed. Several research results were found in studies conducted in developing countries such as China, Taiwan, and Korea, distinguishing them from similar studies in Europe.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> <em>innovation; SMEs; technology; entrepreneurship; open innovation</em></em></p>

Background: Public healthcare organizations are implementing strategic plans modelling with the supposition that the outcome will be enhancing organizational effectiveness, efficiency and delivered superior healthcare services to its clientele. However, in Practices, a good strategy shall be a call for both actions and blueprint for success in responsive to the need it was formulated to address. The aim of this research is to develop implementation success factors model (ISF) for effective strategic plan implementation in public healthcare organization in developing countries.Methods: The research utilized quantitative approach, a survey design and questionnaire was employed to collect data. The study used Gaskin’s CFA/SEM procedure and applies the SPSS 23 AMOS plugins, pattern matrix model builder (PMMB), master validity (MV), model fit measures (MFM) to validate and determine the interrelationships between variables.Results: Reviewing the literature, 20 variables were identified and implementing success factor (ISF) model with two major factors was developed, CSFs for strategic plan formulation and CSFs for strategic plan implementation. This model, in the order of effect, identified CSFs for strategic plan formulation: structural dimension (0.95), content dimension (0.75), operational dimension (0.34) and context dimension (0.23), CSFs for strategic plan implementation: operational dimension (0.70), structural dimension (0.47), contextual dimension (0.46), content (0.37).Conclusions: The research shows that developing implementation success factors model for effective strategic plan implementation in public healthcare organization in developing countries, it will be plausible to consider CSFs for strategic plan formulation and CSFs for strategic plan implementation. Structural equation modelling/CFA has been run to prove the validity of basic CSFs in this research.

The BI is a new trend in public sector organizations that requires investigating the critical success factors (CSFs) which would provide a sound guidelines for determining the criteria to be considered during BI implementation. However, there is no sufficient empirical evidences that provide better understanding of the CSFs for the BI implementation in public sector organizations. This paper aims to identify the CSFs for BI system in the context of public sector organizations. This study adopts a mixed method approach using survey research method and qualitative interview using Jordanian public sector organization case. The findings of this research revealed that top management support, clear vision and strategic planning, team skills, user participation, organizational structure, user access and development technology are the most critical factors to BI implementation success in the public sector organizations. The findings of this study could assist the practitioners in the public sector organizations in planning, managing and implementing their BI projects properly by focusing on those CSFs of BI systems that provide them a better understanding to address issues and concerns related to BI implementation.

Electronic purchasing or e-procurement saves millions of dollars yearly in transaction costs. E-procurement helps to cut down the supplier base, promotes paperless transactions, and increases transparency and accountability in the procurement process. Nonetheless, studies report that around 80% of e-procurement initiatives have met with failure and failed to achieve the desired results. Although studies to better understand the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of e-procurement implementation involving various industries have been on the rise, little is known about architecture engineering and construction (AEC) practices, which has led to limited development of pragmatic frameworks to uncover the factors. Thus, this study aims to identify those CSFs (predicting variables) which significantly contribute to e-procurement implementation success in the construction sector and to put forward for better implementation. Results from multiple regression analysis revealed five factors to be statistically significant predictors of success. Three factors were determined to be predictors of user satisfaction. Finally, internet online procurement frameworks were developed for the success of e-procurement implementation in the construction sector.
