Analysis of Public Physical Education Teaching and Quality Evaluation in Colleges and Universities Based on Decision Tree Algorithm

Vast data in the higher education system are used to analyse and evaluate the teaching quality, so that the key factors that affect the quality of teaching can be predicted. Besides, the learner’s personalized behaviour can also become the data source for teaching result prediction. This paper proposes a decision tree model by taking the teaching quality data and the statistical analysis results of the learn-er’s personalized behaviour as inputs. This model was based on the improved C4.5 decision tree algorithm, which used the FAYYAD boundary point decision theorem for effectively reducing the computation time to the most threshold. In this algorithm, the iterative analysis mechanism was introduced in combination with the data change of the learner’s personalized behaviour, so as to dynamically adjust the final teaching evaluation result. Finally, according to the actual statisti-cal data of one academic year, the teaching quality evaluation was effectively completed and the direction of future teaching prediction was proposed.

In this paper, the forest algorithm and the decision tree algorithm are mainly used to analyze students’ physical education information, course exam results, and student learning data and relevant feature attributes from the online teaching platform. We aim to generate decision trees using the decision tree algorithm for the purpose of generating classification rules, based on which we can find factors that are important to students’ physical education performance and form data basis for improving teaching quality to help teaching management and teachers improve teaching methods and adjust teaching strategies. We specifically achieved this objective by constructing a model for assessing the effectiveness of student teaching, the steps of which include data collection and preparation, data preprocessing (data cleaning, conversion, integration), model construction (algorithm training), and algorithm optimization, as well as realizing the simulation results of the model. At the same time, the importance of the relevant attributes of the model is analyzed, and some measures are proposed to improve the universities: the standard of physical education teaching and the corresponding strategies for improving teaching methods. The mainstream development environment is chosen to ensure the complete operation of the project system that integrates learning, operation, and evaluation. The sports virtual simulation experimental teaching system realized in this paper has good functionality, stability, and application benefits in operation and use.

In order to improve the performance of entrepreneurship and innovation education in colleges and universities, this study attempts to build an evaluation system and model of innovation and entrepreneurship in colleges and universities to provide a complete and practical tool for government education authorities and universities to evaluate the implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education. In this research, decision tree and fuzzy mathematics are used as the basis of the model algorithm, and the algorithm is improved based on the analysis of traditional algorithms. Moreover, based on the improved decision tree algorithm, an evaluation index system for university innovation and entrepreneurship education is constructed. After determining the evaluation indicators of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, this study uses several universities as examples to analyze and define the definitions of various indicators. In addition, this study statistically analyzes the results of entrepreneurship and innovation education in colleges and universities through simulation. The research shows that the model proposed in this paper has a certain practical effect, and based on the simulation results, this study makes several suggestions.
