As a distributed computing technology, cloud computing has the characteristics of fast processing speed, large-capacity data processing, and high overall efficiency. With the continuous development of communication technology today, cloud computing technology has begun to be applied in various industries and has promoted the development and progress of the industry. As an important part of college education, ideological and political education in colleges and universities is also constantly developing. The integration of cloud computing and ideological and political education is the main trend in the future. At present, the application research of cloud computing and wireless communication technology in the ideological and political education of colleges and universities has obtained some results, but there are still some problems. Therefore, the research on innovative methods of ideological and political education is extremely important. At present, under the attention of all walks of life, scholars have strengthened the research on new paths of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and they are also constantly experimenting with innovative methods. In this context, this paper studies the current situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities through questionnaire surveys and analyzes the innovative mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the context of cloud computing through the K-means clustering algorithm model.

In schools, the basic unit is a class, and each class is composed of different groups of students. In order to strengthen college education and improve the quality of education, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive analysis and research on classes. A variety of organizations of college students constitute classes. As the manifestation of these organizations, classes carry out ideological and political education for students. In order to promote students’ progress and development, an excellent class culture should be established. On that premise, it is necessary to strengthen ideological and political education for students, ensure more coordination between education and culture, as well as improve students’ cultural literacy, management system, and the safety of campus life. This study focuses on the strategy of building class culture in colleges and universities, hoping that relevant staffs may be able to use this as a reference.

Objectives: Our country has 5,000 years of cultural history. In this long history, the five thousand years of outstanding culture in China is an important foundation for our current ideological and political education. Methods: Under the new media age of today, culture affects our basic necessities of life, and has a great effect on our socialist values and our own true values now. Results: This paper used clustering algorithm to probe into the integration of excellent traditional culture into ideological and political education in the new media era. The importance of the management of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities is objective to the importance of ideological and political theory courses. At present, the management of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities has big problems in both macro and micro aspects. This paper combines artificial intelligence technology to build an intelligent management system for ideological and political education in colleges and universities based on artificial intelligence, and conducts classroom supervision through intelligent recognition of student status. The KNN outlier detection algorithm based on KD-Tree is proposed to extract the state information of class students. Through data simulation, it can be known that the KD-KNN outlier detection algorithm proposed in this paper significantly improves the efficiency of the algorithm while ensuring the accuracy of the KNN algorithm classification. Through experimental research, it can be seen that the construction of this system not only clarifies the direction of management from a macro perspective, but also reveals specific methods of management from a micro perspective, and to a certain extent effectively solves the problems in the management of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.
