Objectives: Our country has 5,000 years of cultural history. In this long history, the five thousand years of outstanding culture in China is an important foundation for our current ideological and political education. Methods: Under the new media age of today, culture affects our basic necessities of life, and has a great effect on our socialist values and our own true values now. Results: This paper used clustering algorithm to probe into the integration of excellent traditional culture into ideological and political education in the new media era. It has brought us new opportunities. Conclusion: Even the students in all colleges and universities now knew that our present excellent culture had a great influence on ourselves and that we have studied our new cultural contents.

In recent years, with the development of "guiding outline of Ideological and political construction of college curriculum" and "five focuses", the ideological and political education in Colleges and Universities has become more and more important. With the development of the strategy of "Ideological and political education of curriculum", the infiltration of traditional culture into the ideological and political education in Colleges and universities has become the focus of the school and society. From the perspective of culture itself, Chinese excellent traditional culture is a vivid teaching material for college students' patriotism education, an important resource to cultivate socialist core values, and an important source to nourish socialist moral construction. Therefore, in the context of the new era, college teachers should base on the actual development of students, grasp the connotation of the times, optimize the curriculum system, wake up the students' sense of cultural identity and belonging, and truly implement the fundamental task of "moral education".

As a distributed computing technology, cloud computing has the characteristics of fast processing speed, large-capacity data processing, and high overall efficiency. With the continuous development of communication technology today, cloud computing technology has begun to be applied in various industries and has promoted the development and progress of the industry. As an important part of college education, ideological and political education in colleges and universities is also constantly developing. The integration of cloud computing and ideological and political education is the main trend in the future. At present, the application research of cloud computing and wireless communication technology in the ideological and political education of colleges and universities has obtained some results, but there are still some problems. Therefore, the research on innovative methods of ideological and political education is extremely important. At present, under the attention of all walks of life, scholars have strengthened the research on new paths of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and they are also constantly experimenting with innovative methods. In this context, this paper studies the current situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities through questionnaire surveys and analyzes the innovative mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the context of cloud computing through the K-means clustering algorithm model.
