A dam is a complex and important water-retaining structure. Once the dam is broken, the flood will cause immeasurable damage to the lives and properties of the downstream people, so it is particularly important to have the dam risk management. Since the dam-break flood is a severe-consequence low-frequency event, the corresponding fatalities caused by it are difficult to estimate due to the lack of relevant data and poor data continuity. This paper analyzes the direct and indirect factors affecting the risk of life loss in dam failures and studies the characteristics, distribution rules, and membership functions of each factor. An adaptive differential evolution method is constructed through an optimization of the mutation factors and cross factors of the differential evolution method. This proposed evaluation method also combines with the fuzzy clustering iterative method that is capable of evaluating the similarity of life loss in dam accidents. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by 16 dam-break case studies.

According to more and more serious problems of water scarcity, water pollution and deterioration of water environment in homeland, floodwater utilization becomes an important content in flood management and a critical solution for above problems. However, because of the uncertainty and subjective factor in the hydrology and water resources systems, floodwater utilization is a risk decision-making and the evaluation on the risk reasonably becomes an important decision-making reasoning problem. Traditional risk evaluation method considers uncertainty of things, but has little study on incompleteness of things and uncertainty of human’s subjective decision. An integrated risk evaluation model of floodwater utilization is presented based on D-S theory which can solve these problems successfully and with a case study, some benefit conclusions are provided.

In this study, we carried out subjective evaluation tests employing 19 refrigerator door closing sounds to quantify the luxury feeling. By applying factor analysis to the subjective evaluation results, the sound quality of the refrigerator door closing sound was found to be expressed by the following two factors: overall loudness and the pitch of the sound. Subsequently, luxury feeling evaluation model was obtained through multiple regression analysis. As the result, the luxury feeling of the door closing sound was evaluated to be high when the sound was softer and had lower pitch. Then, we prepared several luxury door closing sounds according to the obtained evaluation model through a filter processing and conducted subjective evaluation tests again to verify the evaluation model. The result shows that the amplitude increased sound at low frequency band under 100 Hz, which was calculated to be high luxury by the evaluation model, was actually evaluated as the best among the presented sounds through the subjective test. And the luxury sound quality evaluation method was confirmed to be useful to quantify and estimate the sound quality of the refrigerator door closing sound.

The production process of port enterprises is complex, and the operation contents are diversified and dynamic. Thus, the factors affecting the safety production risk are numerous and complex. To better grasp the risk state of the safety production of the port enterprises, based on the requirements of relevant laws and regulations and the actual situation of safe production of port enterprises, in this study, the diversified safety production data of port enterprises was collected and analyzed, the three-level index system of safety production data for port enterprises was constructed, the evaluation model of safe production state for port enterprises based on AHP-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was established, and the practical application was carried out in a large port enterprise. The evaluation results were highly consistent with the actual situation of safe production of port enterprises. This evaluation method can be used to make full use of the existing data sources of safety production of port enterprises to discover the prominent risks affecting safety production and control them, and effectively improve the level of safety production of port enterprises.

Previously, factors affecting freeway network safety under all operational circumstances have been divided hierarchically. Consequently, evaluation indicators for highway safety have been established on the basis of specification and twin statistic data. We present a novel multi-objective comprehensive evaluation method for the safe operation of segments of a highway network, together with the calculation formula, based on matter element analysis. In addition, the method is evaluated using an example.

With the rapid development of the P2P (peer-to-peer) online lending industry, which is facing significant credit risk, personal credit evaluation is an important method to reduce credit risk. Based on the various indexes of personal credit risk evaluation of domestic and foreign commercial banks, and according to the characteristics of P2P online lending, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the credit risk of P2P online borrowers, introduces the unique risk factors in the field of Internet information, and constructs an index system of personal credit risk evaluation of P2P online lending, which combines qualitative and quantitative indexes, including six major indexes and 21 small indexes. It then quantifies each index and defines the judgment standard of the evaluation results. Using analytic hierarchy process (AHP), expert scoring method, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, this paper establishes a personal credit risk evaluation model of P2P online lending based on AHP method. The public information of two borrowers on the “PaiPai Lending” platform are selected for experimental verification. The results show that the improved personal credit risk evaluation model has better applicability and can evaluate the borrower’s credit status more scientifically, accurately, and comprehensively; thus, it is an effective method of personal credit risk evaluation of P2P online lending.

Firstly, analysis product’s customer demand correlation, function correlation, geometric correlation, structure the corresponding correlation matrix, distribute the respective weighting factor, and then establish an integrated correlation matrix. Application of fuzzy clustering, the establishment of cluster map, the program has been divided into different modules. Based on information entropy theory, select product’s design and manufacturing complexity, cost, maintenance as the optimization objective, establish mathematical evaluation model of module division. Evaluating a number of options get from the fuzzy clustering method, which gain the most reasonable module division program. Finally, taking the seat frame of the Remote Control Weapon Station(RCWS) for example, verify the validity and reasonableness of the evaluation method.

To improve the accuracy and utilization of the evaluation of ideological and political teachers’ teaching ability, this study proposes an evaluation method of ideological and political teachers’ teaching ability based on big data fuzzy clustering. According to the detected information resources and the characteristics that the smaller the average square residual value in the clustering is, the higher the similarity of information required by users is, the user needs to solve the minimum mean square residual value problem and information of given double cluster. The problem of information resource detection was transformed, and the missing features of the data were supplemented. The clustering minimum means square residual value problem with missing data was solved by using the idea of quadratic function, to realize the detection of information resources needed by ideological and political teachers in big data. Through the optimization process of the evaluation model of ideological and political teachers’ teaching ability, the method of big data fuzzy clustering and information fusion was used to cluster and fuse the information resources needed by teachers, to realize the evaluation of ideological and political teachers’ teaching ability. Results show that through the evaluation test of ideological and political teachers’ teaching ability, the evaluation accuracy and utilization rate of this method is higher than 95% in the evaluation cycle. The filling principle of multi-dimensional data missing features is better in the detection of information resources needed by users and promotes the improvement of Ideological and political teachers’ teaching ability.
