In this paper, we introduce a half-duplex (HD) energy harvesting (EH) relay network over the different fading environment with the effect of hardware impairment (HI). The model system was investigated with the amplify-and-forward (AF) and the power splitting (PS) protocols. The system performance analysis in term of the outage probability (OP), achievable throughput (AT), and bit error rate (BER) were demonstrated with the closed-form expressions. In addition, the power splitting (PS) factor was investigated. We verified the analytical analysis by Monte Carlo simulation with all primary parameters. From the results, we can state that the analytical and simulation results match well with each other.

In this work, the half-duplex (HF) power beacon-assisted (PB) energy harvesting (EH) relaying network, which consists of a source (S), Relay (R), destination (D) and a power beacon (PB) are introduced and investigated. Firstly, the analytical expressions of the system performance in term of outage probability (OP) and the system throughput (ST) are analyzed and derived in both amplify-and-forward (AF) and decode-and-forward (DF) modes. After that, we verify the correctness of the analytical analysis by using Monte-Carlo simulation in connection with the primary system parameters. From the numerical results, we can see that all the analytical and the simulation results are matched well with each other.

In this paper, the system performance in term of the ergodic capacity of a half-duplex decode-and-forward relaying network over Rician Fading Channel is investigated. The power splitting protocol is proposed for the system model. For this purpose, the analytical mathematical expressions of the ergodic capacity in cases of maximize and no-maximize ergodic capacity are derived and discussed. Furthermore, the effect of various system parameters on the system performance is rigorously studied. Finally, the analytical results are also demonstrated by Monte-Carlo simulation in comparison with the analytical expressions. The research results show that the analytical mathematical and simulated results match for all possible parameter values for both schemes.

In this paper, a bidirectional full-duplex amplify- and-forward (AF) relay network with multiple antennas at source nodes is proposed. Assuming that the channel state information is known at the source nodes, transmit antenna selection and maximal ratio combining (MRC) are employed when source nodes transmit information to the relay node and receive information from the relay node respectively, in order to improve the overall signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (SINR). Analytical expressions are derived for tight upper bound SINR at the relay node and source nodes upon reception. Further, losed form expressions are also derived for end-to-end outage probability of the proposed bidirectional full-duplex AF relay network in the Nakagami-m fading channel environment. Although self-interference at the relay node limits the performance of the full-duplex network, the outage performance of the proposed network is better than that of conventional bidirectional full-duplex and half-duplex AF relay networks, due to the selection diversity gain in TAS and diversity and array gain in MRC.

In this paper, we proposed and investigated the Hybrid TPSR Two-Way Half-Duplex (HD) Relaying Communication Networks Over Rayleigh Fading Channel in the presence of the Eavesdropper (E). The system model consists of two sources A and B communicate with each other with helping of intermediate Relay (R). For the system performance analysis, we analyzed and derived the exact and approximate integral-form of the system Non-zero secrecy probability (NZSP) in the case that the E uses the MRC (maximal ratio combining) technique. In addition, the effect of the main system parameters on the system performance is investigated. Finally, all the research results are convinced by the Monte Carlo Simulation. This paper can provide a novel recommendation for relaying communication network manufacture. In this paper, we proposed and investigated the Hybrid TPSR Two-Way Half-Duplex (HD) Relaying Communication Networks Over Rayleigh Fading Channel in the presence of the Eavesdropper (E). This work studies the SWIPT-based half-duplex (HD) decode-and-forward (DF) relay network, wherein the relay user can scavenge power from the source’s radio-frequency (RF) signals and then utilize it to convey the information to the destination. Specifically, two SWIPT-based relaying schemes, termed static power splitting- (SPS-) based relaying (SPSR) and optimal dynamic power splitting- (DPS-) based relaying (ODPSR), are proposed to investigate the benefits of each one fully. Based on the above discussions, the relaying system’s performance for outage probability (OP) is studied. Concretely, we derive the analytical expressions for both SPSR and DPSR methods. Finally, the numerical simulations are executed to corroborate the analysis and simulation results.

In this paper, we study the throughput and outage probability (OP) of two-way relaying (TWR) communication system with energy harvesting (EH). The system model consists two source nodes and a relay node which operates in full-duplex (FD) mode. The effect of self-interference (SI) due to the FD operation on the system performance is evaluated for both one-way full duplex (OWFD) and two-way full duplex (TWFD) diagrams where the amplify-and-forward (AF) relay node collects energy harvesting with the time switching (TS) scheme. We first propose an individual OP expression for each specific source. Then, we derive the exact closed-form overall OP expression for the OWFD diagram. For the TWFD diagram, we propose an approximate closed-form expression for the overall OP. The overall OP comparison among hybrid systems (Two-Way Half-Duplex (TWHD), OWFD, TWFD) are also discussed. Finally, the numerical/simulated results are presented for Rayleigh fading channels to demonstrate the correction of the proposed analysis.

We investigate the system performance of a two-way amplify-and-forward (AF) energy harvesting relay network over the Rician fading environment. For details, the delay-limited (DL) and delay-tolerant (DT) transmission modes are proposed and investigated when both energy and information are transferred between the source node and the destination node via a relay node. In the first stage, the analytical expressions of the achievable throughput, ergodic capacity, the outage probability, and symbol error ratio (SER) were proposed, analyzed, and demonstrated. After that, the closed-form expressions for the system performance are studied in connection with all system parameters. Moreover, the analytical results are also demonstrated by Monte Carlo simulation in comparison with the closed-form expressions. Finally, the research results show that the analytical and the simulation results agree well with each other in all system parameters.

We investigate secure communications in untrusted energy harvesting relay networks, where the amplify-and-forward relay is an energy constrained node powered by the received radio frequency signals, and try to unauthorizedly decode the confidential information from the source. The secrecy outage probability and connection outage probability are respectively derived in closed-form to evaluate the security and reliability for three energy harvesting strategies, for example, time switching relaying strategy, power splitting relaying strategy, and ideal relaying receiver strategy. Subsequently, the effective secrecy throughput is conducted to characterize the overall efficiency, and the asymptotic analysis of the secrecy throughput is given to determine the optimal energy harvesting strategies in different operating regimes. Furthermore, in order to achieve the optimal effective secrecy throughput performance, a switching threshold between time switching relaying and power splitting relaying is designed. Numerical results verify the accuracy of the analytical expressions and reveal that the effective secrecy throughput of the system can be effectively promoted by the threshold switching energy harvesting strategy.
