The study was carried out to assess the undergraduate Business Education Students’ Perception on the use of Information and communication technology (ICT) in teaching and learning in the University. Thus, to achieve the purpose, two research questions and two hypotheses guided the study. A sample of 100 students was randomly drawn using balloting and proportionate stratified random sampling techniques. A questionnaire of 4-point scale was used to collect data. It has face validity determined through expert judgement, and construct validity verified through factor analysis. The reliability of the instrument was obtained through Cronbach Alpha. A reliability coefficient of 0.82 was obtained as a measure of internal consistency. The data collected were analyzed with mean and Z-test. Mean was used to answer the research questions while Z-test was used to test the hypotheses at the 0.05 level of significance. The result showed that there was high perception of students to use ICT in teaching and learning in the university. There was no significant difference between male and female students as well as 300 level and 400 level students on the use of ICT in teaching and learning. Therefore, it was recommended that ICT should be used in teaching and learning Business Education in the University.

The purpose of online learning is for learners to be able to access their learning material remotely and teachers to be able to facilitate learning and teaching with the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in education. The research reported in this chapter introduced the limited use of ICT tools and resources for teaching and learning at a primary school based in Tsakane township and explored the policy and practice challenges for equality in terms of community engagement. The chapter will introduce the purpose of the research, as well as the objectives and research questions, and will then proceed to provide background in terms of a detailed literature review. This chapter will proceed to identify limitations and assumptions, outline the problem statement, as well as the research methodology used in the study, together with a discussion of the results collected towards solutions.

Technology has been available for use in schools for several decades. Nevertheless many schools and teachers are still pondering issues related to integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into education. While ICT is used in classroom education, integration of technology into teaching and learning has not yet been achieved. This study analyzes the barriers to educational technology use and what measures are taken to overcome them. Digitalisation is not merely a question of providing equipment, but rather a change in ways of thinking and learning, and the support offered to teachers should take this into consideration.

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning is kind of innovation in education. Several studies have shown that the application of ICT is able to improve students' competence and satisfaction with subject studied and enhancing the ability of both subjects and graduate levels. A developing university must be able to apply ICT in teaching and learning. One of a developing university in Indonesia is Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta). The subject of this research is a student of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Untirta. The main purpose of the research is to know the readiness of lecturer and college student in using ICT integrated into the learning process. Based on research it is known that both of lecturers and students have the readiness to adopt integrated ICT in the learning process. The main problem that arises from lecturers is the lack of lecturers' skills in using technology. While the problems that arise from students is the need for a free internet connection. Therefore, the university has to provide the training for the lecturers and provide free connections for the students.

The study examined the attitude and utilization of information and communication technology among university students. The study adopted descriptive – survey as its design, and a population of one thousand three hundred and seventy seven (1377) students were used for the study out of which three hundred and two (302) were purposively sampled from the Department of Science and Vocational Education of the Faculty of Education and Extension Services, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. Two research instruments were used Students’ attitude towards Information and Communication Technology (SAICT) and Information and Communication Technology utilization (ICTU). The instruments were pilot tested using Cronbach alpha and reliability index of 0.93 and 0.77 were obtained. The research found that students have positive attitude towards ICT, it was also found that students utilize ICT for academic purpose, and that students attitude is related to utilization. The study recommends that Science education students should be encouraged by the university to sustain their positive attitude towards ICT by ensuring that the students have easy access to the facilities at every point in time.

This study was designed using quantitative-correlation approach to determine the level of readiness in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in terms of hardware, software and connectivity among five target high school teachers and the extent at which teachers integrate ICT in classroom teaching in terms of planning and designing learning environments; teaching, learning and curriculum; and assessment and evaluation. Furthermore, this research also identified significant difference of ICT readiness and ICT integration between gender. Moreover, the study explored whether there is a significant relationship between teachers’ ICT readiness and ICT integration in classroom teaching. Findings revealed that the level of readiness of teachers in utilizing ICT is very ready and the extent of integration to classroom teaching is often. Furthermore, findings revealed when data is grouped by gender, there is a significant difference in teachers’ ICT readiness but none is found in integration of ICT in the classroom. Moreover, a significant relationship was found in the readiness of teachers’ in using ICT and its extent of integration in classroom teaching.

Teaching and learning in the 21st century has been embedded with technology. Use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a crucial role in ameliorating knowledge acquisition in general and enhancing English Language mastering in particular. The government of Nepal has made provision of integrating ICTs in school education to enhance quality education and make both teachers and learners confident and competitive in the present global world. The teachers are the real implementers of the policy into practice. In this context, this research intended to investigate secondary level English teachers’ skill and motivation in using ICTs while teaching the English language. To achieve the objective, an explanatory sequential mixed research design was adopted. The survey questionnaire, unstructured interview and non-participant observation were used to determine the skills and motivation of forty secondary English teachers (20 from public and 20 from private schools). Two datasets, i.e. quantitative and qualitative were collected and analyzed sequentially. The findings of the research reveal that majority of the teachers have high motivation in using ICTs even though they are not skilful, knowledgeable and confident in handling and using new ICT tools and applications. The findings imply that teachers should be given opportunities for training on ICT use for building up their skill, motivation, knowledge and confidence.

In this context, this research intends to investigate secondary level English teachers’ skill and motivation in using ICTs while teaching the English language. This is a qualitative study that uses a phenomenological approach to obtain information according to Denzin (2019) in which the participants in the study included eight schools and 16 teachers at different schools in Nepal. They were selected purposefully since selecting the best participant ensures the intended information (Creswell & Creswell, 2017). The telephonic interview was conducted and open-ended questions were administered electronically and all necessary directions were provided to them so that they could respond to those questions. The findings imply that teachers should be given opportunities for training on ICT use for building up their skill, motivation, knowledge and confidence.
