For over two decades no attempt has been made to update the checklist of Ferns and Lycophytes (hereafter only referred to as pteridophytes) of Honduras. In 1996 Nelson-Sutherland and co-workers published the first fully annotated checklist for the country, which included 651 named species (680 taxa including varieties and hybrids). However, phylogenetic relationships have changed substantially since then. There have also been many taxonomic revisions for several groups and a considerable number of new records have since been published. Our work aimed to provide a comprehensive updated and fully annotated checklist of Honduran ferns. We undertook a comprehensive literature review of new records for Honduras and verified each individual record for the country. We followed PPGI for our taxonomic species revisions. We excluded a total of 81 taxa from the original 1996 checklist due to synonymy or lack of evidence of the species occurrence in Honduras. A total of 114 new species records were added, including four previously unpublished records. Our new updated checklist includes 713 taxa (including 8 varieties and 7 hybrids) which represents a 19% increase to the number of pteridophytes known from Honduras. Our work provides updated information regarding the pteridophytes diversity of Honduras. These data provide a crucial first step towards the first Honduran pteridophytes flora.

Steriphodon Abeille de Perrin, 1895, a small genus of Eurygeniinae (Anthicidae) is reviewed. Critical morphology of the genus is reassessed and discussed. An annotated checklist, key to species and new records are provided. Steriphodon ottomerkli sp. nov. from the Balochistan Province, Pakistan is described and illustrated.

One hundred forty-six species of Gelechiidae including 36 new records are reported from Israel. Anarsia balioneura Meyrick, 1921 and Polyhymno chionarcha Meyrick, 1913 are recorded for the first time in the Palaearctic region. Two new species are described: Metzneria freidbergi sp. nov., and Scrobipalpa aravensis sp. nov. Six new synonyms are established: Stygmatoptera Hartig, 1936 syn. nov. of Polyhymno Chambers, 1874; Eulamprotes Bradley, 1971 syn. nov. of Oxypteryx Rebel, 1911; Polyhymno abaiella Amsel, 1974 syn. nov. of Polyhymno chionarcha, Meyrick, 1913; Gelechia haifella Amsel, 1935 syn. nov. of Athrips rancidella (Herrich-Schäffer, 1854); Sophronia catharurga Meyrick, 1923 and Sophronia parahumerella Amsel, 1935 syn. nov. of Pseudosophronia exustellus (Zeller, 1847). The following new combinations are proposed: Anacampsis karmeliella (Amsel, 1935) comb. nov., Stomopteryx tesserapunctella (Amsel, 1935) comb. nov., Aproaerema languidella (Amsel, 1936) comb. nov., Aproaerema telaviviella (Amsel, 1935) comb. nov., Acompsia (Telephila) ballotellus (Amsel, 1935) comb. nov., Polyhymno dumonti (Hartig, 1936) comb. nov., Oxypteryx atrella (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) comb. nov., Oxypteryx immaculatella (Douglas, 1850) comb. nov. and Chrysoesthia amseli (Bidzilya, 2008) comb. nov. A lectotype is designated for Lita rhamnifoliae Amsel & Hering, 1931.The genitalia of both sexes of Sophronia sagittans Meyrick, 1923, Anacampsis karmeliella (Amsel, 1935), Stomopteryx tesserapunctella Amsel, 1935 as well as male genitalia of Stomopteryx lacteolella Caradja, 1924, Aproaerema telaviviella (Amsel, 1935), Acompsia ballotellus (Amsel, 1935), Polyhymno dumonti (Hartig, 1936) and Chrysoesthia amseli (Bidzilya, 2008) are illustrated and described for the first time. New or additional host plants are recorded for Metzneria aspretella Lederer, 1869, M. agraphella (Ragonot, 1895), M. ehikeella Gozmány, 1954 and Scrobipalpa suaedivorella (Chrétien, 1915). Photographs of the type specimens of most taxa described from Israel and Palestine are presented. The following species are removed from the list of Gelechiidae of Israel: Nothris sulcella Staudinger, 1879, N. skyvai Karsholt & Šumpich, 2015, Anarsia spartiella Schrank, 1802, Megacraspedus cerussatellus Rebel, 1930, Oxypteryx atrella (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Isophrictis anthemidella (Wocke, 1871), Metzneria metzneriella (Stainton, 1851), Scrobipalpa otregata Povolný, 1972, Scrobipalpa nitentella (Fuchs, 1902), Scrobipalpa remota Povolný, 1972, Scrobipalpa salinella (Zeller, 1847) and Ephysteris diminutella (Zeller, 1847). Moreover, Stomopteryx remissella (Zeller, 1847) is recorded as new to the Altai Mountains of Russia, Anarsia balioneura Meyrick, 1921 is new to Cyprus and Libya, Polyhymno dumonti (Hartig, 1936) is new to Libya and Sudan, Scrobipalpa superstes is new to Greece, Stenolechia gemmella (Linnaeus, 1758) is new to Jordan and Polyhymno chionarcha is new to Saudi Arabia.

A taxonomic account and an annotated checklist of the Finnish Mymaridae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) are given, comprising 85 named species in 19 genera. Among them 2 genera, Dicopus Enock, 1909 and Stethynium Enock, 1909, 1 subgenus, Anagrus (Paranagrus Perkins, 1905), and the following 25 species represent new records for Finland: Anagrus (Anagrus) avalae Soyka, 1956, A. (Anagrus) bakkendorfi Soyka, 1946, A. (Anagrus) ensifer Debauche, 1948, A. (Anagrus) nigriceps (Smits van Burgst, 1914), A. (Anagrus) obscurus Förster, 1861, A. (Anagrus) parvus Soyka, 1956, A. (Anagrus) subfuscus Foerster, 1847, A. (Paranagrus) optabilis (Perkins, 1905), Anaphes (Anaphes) stygius Debauche, 1948, Camptoptera magna Soyka, 1946, Cleruchus megatrichus Novicky, 1965, C. taktochno Triapitsyn, 2014, Cosmocomoidea oxypygus (Foerster, 1856), C. tremulae (Bakkendorf, 1934), Dicopus minutissimus Enock, 1909, D. moscovit Triapitsyn, 2015, Gonatocerus aegyptiacus Soyka, 1950, Lymaenon aureus (Girault, 1911), L. longior (Soyka, 1946), Polynema flavipes Walker, 1846, P. fuscipes Haliday, 1833, P. pusilloides Debauche, 1948, P. valkenburgense Soyka, 1931, P. vitripenne (Foerster, 1847), and Stethynium triclavatum Enock, 1909. New distributional records and taxonomic notes on some genera and species are also provided. Caraphractus Walker, 1846, syn. nov. is synonymized with Eustochus Haliday, 1833 and treated as its subgenus, E. (Caraphractus), stat. revid., and its type species Caraphractus cinctus Walker, 1846 is transferred to Eustochus as Eustochus (Caraphractus) cinctus (Walker, 1846), comb. nov. Eustochus (Eustochus) koponeni Triapitsyn, sp. nov. is described from Finland and Germany. Lymaenon gracilentus (Hellén, 1974), stat. restit. is resurrected as a valid species from the previous synonymy with Lymaenon aureus and redescribed. The previously unknown male of Alaptus schmitzi Soyka, 1939 is described. Polynema depressicollis Hellén, 1974, syn. nov., is synonymized with Polynema (Doriclytus) vitripenne. Anagrus (Paranagrus) optabilis is newly recorded from the Canary Islands and Madeira, and Cleruchus megatrichus is for the first time reported from France.

An annotated checklist with complementary information for leptophlebiid mayflies from Tocantins State, Brazil is provided. Additionally, we describe a new species of Thraulodes Ulmer, 1920 based on male adults. New reports are based on collections conducted between August 2017 and August 2019 in 13 localities of 10 municipalities. A total of 436 adults distributed in 11 genera, 16 species and five morphospecies treated as undescribed species were collected. Of the total species examined, 11 are new records.

Mosquito borne diseases remains as an importance source of morbidity and mortality in Sri Lanka. To better control vectors which transmit the diseases, updated list of the species present in the county is imperative. It is also vital in documenting the diversity of the family Culicidae. Original records were collected from a literature review to compile a list of the species recorded in Sri Lanka. This work illustrates the updated list of mosquito species in Sri Lanka and their current taxonomic status based on previous studies from 1901 to date. A total of 159 species belonging to 19 genera including sibling species, have been included in the revised mosquito checklist in Sri Lanka. The present work includes 13 species, two genera (Lutzia, Verrallina) and 9 subgenera in subfamily Culicinae, tribe Aedini of genus Aedes (Bruceharrisonius, Collessius, Danielsia, Dendroskusea, Downsiomyia, Fredwardsius, Hulecoeteomyia, Neomelaniconion, Phagomyia) in to the checklist which were not included in the previous mosquito checklist published nearly 26 years ago. However, further work is essential to refine this list and to explore the abundance of new species within the country. Improved morphological and molecular identification methods will sanction the refinement of the mosquito catalog in years to come.

The two Sinodiapterna Dellacasa, 1986 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Aphodiinae: Aphodiini) species from Taiwan, including Sinodiapterna yushana Li & Wang, new species (玉山長盾蜉金龜), are reviewed with descriptions, illustrations, distributional data, and remarks. Both species represent two species groups, namely the S. troitzkyi group and the S. gorodinskiyi group, respectively, within the genus. A key for the identification of adults of Taiwan is provided. An annotated checklist of the genus is provided with the information for each species including literature review, synonymy, distribution, and type locality.

The genus Dasyvalgus, is the largest of Valgina and in mainland China was previously represented by five species only. Nine new species (D. becvariensis, D. benesi, D. ligthbrowni, D. minutus, D. motuoensis, D. paratomentatus, D. rufipes, D. tomentatus, D. varius) are here described and illustrated. Including the new species, new synonymies and new records, presented here, the mainland Chinese Dasyvalgus now consists of seventeen species. Moreover, the females of five species are described or illustrated, and a key for the identification of the males is provided.

AbstractThe phylogeny of foliicolous taxa in Pilocarpaceae was reconstructed using Bayesian and maximum likelihood analyses of concatenated ITS and mtSSU sequences. Sixty-six new partial sequences representing 36 taxa were generated and 29 sequences were downloaded from GenBank. Our results indicate that Lasioloma R. Sant. is nested within a paraphyletic Calopadia Vězda, whereas Fellhanera Vězda is polyphyletic and the phylogenetic relationships of Eugeniella Lücking et al. and Sporopodium Mont. with Fellhanera require further investigation. In addition, Tapellaria parvimuriformis W. C. Wang & J. C. Wei is described as a new species from Khao Yai National Park, Thailand, and is characterized by its small muriform ascospores, grey campylidia with a pale base, and short conidia. Eight new records of foliicolous lichens for Thailand are also listed.

AbstractAn annotated checklist of identified oribatid mite taxa from Nepal is provided. It includes 77 species/subspecies, 56 genera and 40 families; 36 species/subspecies, 21 genera and nine families are recorded for the first time in Nepal. Two new species, Vilhenabates schawalleri sp. n. (Haplozetidae) and Taiwanoppia (Taiwanoppia) paranepalica sp. n. (Oppiidae), are described from soil of central Nepal. Vilhenabates schawalleri sp. n. is morphologically similar to V. giganteus Ermilov & Rybalov, 2012, however, it differs from the latter by the body size, length of rostral, lamellar and subcapitular setae, location of lamellar setae, adanal setae ad 3 and adanal lyrifissures and number of porose areas. Taiwanoppia (Taiwanoppia) paranepalica sp. n. is morphologically similar to T. (T.) nepalica Ermilov & Martens, 2014, however, it differs from the latter by the body size and morphology of the rostrum.

The genus Bolbochromus Boucomout, 1909 from the Philippines is reviewed for the first time. Six species in two subgenera, Metabolbochromus Krikken & Li, 2013 and Bolbochromus, including three new species, Bolbochromus (Bolbochromus) jengi Li & Krikken, sp. n., Bolbochromus (Bolbochromus) luzonensis Li & Krikken, sp. n., and Bolbochromus (Bolbochromus) setosifrons Li & Wang, sp. n., are described with diagnoses, illustrations, distributional data and remarks. A key for the identification of Philippine species is provided. An annotated checklist of the genus in the Philippines is given with information for each species including literature review, synonymy, distribution, and type locality.
