Warehouse design is critical in the air cargo industry, where service standards are high and competition is fierce. The designers of air cargo warehouses consider various criteria like costs, system failure risks, customer perception, and marketing power to evaluate alternative designs. The issue of designing an air cargo warehouse is generally considered by design and consulting companies, which have broad experience in operational design are lacking in suggesting robust alternatives that build upon on a well-structured theoretical framework. The alternative warehouse designs are generated by considering different combinations of resource capacities such as the number of gates, workstations and storage areas. The evaluation of these alternative designs requires the use of analytical methodologies for multi-criteria decision-making. At this point, two methodologies from literature may be helpful: (i) simulation, which is a popular tool to evaluate operational performance and (ii) the analytical hierarchy process (AHP), which provides the ability to evaluate qualitative as well as quantitative criteria. In this study, a flexible and user-friendly decision support system (DSS) is developed based on combining simulation and AHP. The DSS is used to generate design alternatives, evaluate their quantitative performance via simulation, and subsequently rank the best scoring ones via AHP according to a set of quantitative as well as qualitative decision criteria. The graphical interfaces are designed with a keen eye on man-machine interaction to increase their functionality. The environment is tested and validated with real-time data in one of Europe’s largest air cargo carriers.

This study was conducted to assist in the selection of martial assistant coach, to determine who is right. Its results will didadaptkan by comparing the two methods in the decision support system, by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Simple Additive Weight (SAW) in limiting the problems in producing the desired solution, using multiple criteria (multi-criteria). AHP and SAW has a different way of doing the calculation. This is done to determine which method is looking for help in making decisions. And in this study are the criteria Discipline, Knowledge, Leadership, Attitude, and Level. And there are sub criteria on Level, which Black (AND I) and Red Black II.

This study is to determine whether the characteristics of coffee flavor can be implemented into a decision support system. In this study, the problem is the difficulty in finding coffee experts with adequate understanding and knowledge of coffee. The purpose is to implement Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the characteristics of coffee flavor and to transfer the knowledge about the taste of coffee to coffee lovers. The expected results are to assist in making a decision support system application in selecting the characteristics of coffee, so that it can provide the advice to the common consumers who want to enjoy and the knowledge about the coffee itself as well.

The budget allocation of a village fund is very important and take big effect to village progress Because the office to distribute the tax result for village development. But, that allocation is not accurately. Therefore there was design a system to support a decision a budget allocation of village funds by using an Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This research done to the make-easy an office village in budgeting is the allocation of village funds. An method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is one of a method known as important as the highest level. An AHP method is look for the best alternative

The method that used in DSS in Al-Fath elementary school uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method. Choices of majors of an art lesson in Al-Fath elementary school Cirendeu is using AHP Method, provide in the term of numbers result in the calculation which can be considered further by teachers. This method can help and make art teachers easily to decide what is the right art lesson, so the teaching and learning activity will be more productive and focus.Keyword: Decision Support System, Al-Fath Elementary School, Art Programme, AHP Method
