AbstractThe study is to present an integrative model of predictors and outcome of customer satisfaction in the fast food sector of Pakistan and also examine its effects. Moreover, we also examined the contingent effect of social trust and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on the relationship between customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Offline and online survey was conducted with four hundred fast food customers; valid data were assessed and analyzed through structural equation modeling and moderation step-by-step approach. Results demonstrate that restaurant stimuli such as food quality, service quality, atmosphere, price, restaurant location and a variety of food have strong significant effects on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction engendered brand loyalty. Social trust has a positive significant impact on the relationship between customer satisfaction and brand loyalty, whereas on the other side CSR has insignificant impact on the association. The study has practical implications for both restaurateurs and government. Restaurateurs should ensure the safety standards of foods, and the government can take an initiative to set proper policy and maintain the food safety standards by regulation.

Customer satisfaction is one of the main topics in marketing that received large attentions from several scholars and practitioners. Satisfied customers tend to be the driving force for brand success and building sustainable competitive advantage; therefore, looking at the antecedents of customer satisfaction is deemed to be very important. This article is designed to examine the effects of social media marketing, price promotion, and corporate social responsibility on customer satisfaction in the fast-food industry. The data were collected using a survey instrument from 293 customers of international fast-food restaurants in east coast Malaysia. To analyze the collected data and reach at conclusions, SPSS and structural equation modeling (AMOS) were utilized. The findings revealed that social media marketing and price promotion have significant effects on customer satisfaction. Moreover, the findings revealed that corporate social responsibility has a significant positive impact on customer satisfaction.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to scrutinize the effect of corporate social responsibility activities (CSRA) of the firm on its financial performance (FP) and analyze the mediating role of innovation and competitive advantage (CA) in the relationship between CSRA and FP in the manufacturing sector of an emerging country, i.e. Pakistan. Design/methodology/approach Data has been collected through an electronic structured questionnaire from 300 middle-level and top-level managers by surveying different manufacturing firms of Gujranwala, Pakistan. The study’s hypotheses have been checked by analyzing the reliability and validity of data and applying confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling through statistical package for the social sciences and analysis of moment structures. Findings Outcomes of this study supported the hypothesized model. It has been found that the CSRA plays a significant positive role in determining the FP of the firm. Furthermore, the CA and innovation have been proved as significant mediators between CSRA and FP. Originality/value The first time examining the intermediation of innovation and CA in the relationship between CSRA and FP is the primary input of this study to the literature. Practically, this study’s findings will help strategy makers of manufacturing firms in emerging countries develop better strategies for implementing CSRA, enhancing innovation, seeking CA and improving FP.

Purpose Few studies exist which delve into the possible factors that prevent ethically minded consumers from translating their ethical perceptions into ethical purchase intention (EPI). Thus, this study aims to explore how consumers assess corporate social responsibility (CSR) based on several influencing factors toward EPI, with CSR skepticism (SKP) as a moderator. Design/methodology/approach This cross-sectional study is conducted through a self-administered questionnaire and uses a positive research approach with a quantitative basis of enquiry. The partial least squares–structural equation modeling- model is used to examine the causal relationship between seven independent variables of CSR assessment (i.e. CSR awareness, knowledge of CSR position of company, cause importance, price consciousness, CSR image of company, credibility of CSR efforts and peer influence) with EPI. In addition, this study also examines the moderating effect of SKP in the relationship. Findings The findings show that CSR assessment factors are important to convert mere purchase criteria into EPI and SKP does play a significant role in weakening the relationship. Originality/value This study examines the moderating effect of CSR skepticism, the exploration of which still remains very limited in current literature.

The main objective of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in the relationship between transformational leadership (TLS) and corporate social responsibility practices (CSR). Another objective was to present adequate properties regarding the reliability of the scores, and evidence of the validity of the internal structure of the measurement instrument. Structure equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the data, which was randomly collected from 392 participants from the universities of Jordan. The overall assessment of the model was accepted and TLS was found to indirectly and significantly impact CSR practices through OCB, where the direct effect was significant, though lower than the indirect impact. This means that TLS is a good predictor of CSR practices, especially with the mediation of OCB. One of the implications of this finding is that leaders should promote OCB among their employees, as this will be reflected in their CSR practices, which is one of the requirements of sustainability. The originality of this research lies in it being the first to explore the indirect effect of TLS on CSR practices through OCB.

This paper aims to examine empirically the mediation role of customer satisfaction between service quality, customer perceived value, corporate social responsibility, and brand loyalty at Lebanese private universities. A survey was administered with 378 respondents. A judgmental sample of university students were selected. The framework was tested through structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that service quality and perceived value influence customer satisfaction while satisfaction fully mediates the relationship between perceived value and brand loyalty. Additionally, corporate social responsibility showed insignificant relationship with customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. This study proposed that marketers should focus on service quality, customer perceived value and customer satisfaction for increasing brand loyalty in adopting their strategies at Lebanese private universities.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of perceived Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices on customers’ satisfaction and perceived value. According to the result of the literature review, the studied CSR practices include environmental protection, customer protection, community, HR policies, price, product quality, relationship selling, empathy, and fulfill expectations. To address the research objective, the present study proposed two following research questions: (1) What are factors of CSR practices impacting customers’ satisfaction?; and (2) How do these factors influence customer satisfaction and perceived value? The study approached 236 customers of the food industry to conduct a survey empirically and tested the proposed hypotheses using structural equation modeling. The research findings show that (1), in Vietnamese customers perceptions, Perceived price, Perceived quality and Empathy are three components of CSR practices; (2) these components have positive impacts on Customer satisfaction; and (3) Customer satisfaction has a positive relationship with customers’ perceived value. These findings help to enrich the CSR literature in developing countries like Vietnam, and to confirm the findings of previous studies. Moreover, from the research findings, the present study suggested some managerial implications for firms in the food industry relating to price, product quality and empathy.

The main objective of a company in running its operational activities is to maximize profit. Apart from that, the company is also obliged to provide maximum contribution to the community. To accommodate the objectives and obligations, the company may apply a system called Corporate Governance (CG). The company can also implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as its significant step in contributing to the community. The implementation of CG and CSR is related because CSR is a consequence of CG implementation. In addition to CG and CSR are interconnected, CG and CSR are also interconnected with Corporate Financial Performance (CFP). Through the implementation of CG, the company can improve CFP. The relationship between CSR and CFP can be associated positively or negatively. The research was conducted on 100 companies listed in Kompas100 index to determine the influence of CG to CSR, influence of CG to CFP, influence CSR to CFP, and influence of CG to the CFP with CSR as a moderating variable. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was used to determine the relationship of these three variables. The results showed that CG influenced positively to CSR, but influenced negatively to CFP. Likewise, CSR influenced negatively to CFP. Due to the negative influence of CG to CFP and CSR to CFP, CG also influenced negatively to the CFP through the disclosure of CSR as moderating variable.Keyword: corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, corporate financial performance, Indeks Kompas100

This empirical study was aimed to discover the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and international standardization of organization (ISO) on corporate reputation (CR) and corporate reputation’s effect on consumer loyalty (CL). In addition, the relationship of corporate reputation & trust (T), corporate reputation with consumer company identification (CCI) was also examined. Lastly the association of consumer company identification, trust and consumer loyalty (CL) was also analyzed. The data was collected from 500 students of three different universities and survey instrument was administrated. Overall, eight hypotheses were examined to confirm the relationship among variables by using the CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) and structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the validity of the instrument with the help of AMOS and SPSS software. The result indicated that ISO and environmental CSR has direct relationship with corporate reputation. Corporate reputation had direct association with trust. Whereas, corporate reputation was significantly positive related with consumer company identification. Subsequently, Trust also showed positive relation with loyalty and positive relationship was found between consumer company identification and consumer loyalty. Furthermore, results showed that community development- corporate social responsibility had no relationship with corporate reputation and corporate reputation was significantly related with customer loyalty. The findings of this study contribute in the literature provided instrument authenticity and adaptability in Pakistani context. In this study limitations and future recommendations were also provided.

In addition to running the rules set by the government, the activity of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is also carried out by the company in increasing customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze the influence of CSR activities at the local aircraft company and local banking company to customer loyalty mediated by customer trust,C-C(Consumer-Company) identification, and customer satisfaction. Selection of these two industries because ofgrowththat hasoccurredeveryyear. The sample was consumers who have used the services of local aircraft in the last six months and consumers were registered as clients of local banks in the six months before the study began. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and found that for consumers from local aircraft, the company's CSR activities significantly affect customer loyalty through mediation of customer trust, while consumers from  local bank, CSR activities significantly affect the customer loyalty through mediation of c-cidentification.
