Abstract Background Endometrial hyperplasia (EH) is commonly-seen in the patients with endometrial cancer (EC), we aimed to evaluated the risk factors of EC in patients with EH, to provide evidence to the clinical prevention and treatment of EC. Methods This study was a retrospective study design. EH patients confirmed by pathological examinations and treated with hysterectomy in our hospital from June 1, 2018 to February 28, 2021 were included. The clinical characteristics of EC and no-EC patients were compared and analyzed. Logistics regression analyses were conducted to evaluate the risk factors of EC in patients with EH. Results A total of 228 EH patients were included, the incidence of EC in the EH patients was 31.58%. There were significant differences in the age, BMI, diabetes, hypertension and pathology of EH between EC and no EC groups (all P < 0.05), no significant differences in the hyperlipidemia, preoperative CA125, number of deliveries, menopause and endometrial thickness between EC and no EC groups were found (all P > 0.05). Logistic regression analyses indicated that age > 50 y (OR 3.064, 95% CI 1.945–5.931), BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2 (OR 2.705, 95% CI 1.121–3.889), diabetes (OR 3.049, 95% CI 1.781–5.114), hypertension (OR 2.725, 95% CI 1.108–3.431) and severe hyperplasia (OR 3.181, 95% CI 1.496–4.228) were the risk factors of EC in patients with EH (all P < 0.05). Conclusions The risk of EC in EH patients is high, especially for those patients with age > 50 y, BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2, diabetes, hypertension and severe hyperplasia, special attentions should be paid for occurrence of EC and early diagnosis and early treatment are needed for those patients.

Abstract Following injury, Asian skin has a tendency toward hyperpigmentation and scar formation than Caucasians. A standardized algorithm tailored to Asian patients, especially Chinese patients, is in great demand. Twelve independent, self-selected academic and military physicians from the department of burn/trauma, plastic surgery and dermatology with extensive experience in treating scars were assembled on January 17, 2015, establishing the consensus panel. This consensus was then appraised, drafted, reviewed, and finalized during the following 3 years, aiming to standardize and improve scar prevention and treatment in China. Hopefully, it may also provide some advices and references for the management of scarring in Asian patients.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a systemic chronic autoimmune disease. To study the therapeutic mechanism of effects of Skullcap Brightviolet (SB),glucosamine/chondroitin (GC),and the combination of them (named Arthrigia) on RA. With the adjuvant arthritis (AA) rat models, we observed the protective effects of oral SB, GC and Arthrigia in different concentrations on AA in rats. We further examined the immunological mechanism of the combination of them by testing the rats’ secretion of IL-12. The results showed that Arthrigia inhibited the production and secretion of IL-12 factors in some extent, and its effects are more potent the single SB or GC. The present study provides the experimental evidences for Arthrigia for its further development, clinical prevention and treatment of RA.

Autophagy is a self-protection mechanism of the body, and also an important physiological process for cells to maintain internal environment stability. Studies have shown that the degree of autophagy damage is positively correlated with the expression of oncogenes, and the expression of oncogenes is closely related to cervical HPV infection, so the control of autophagy ability can interfere with cervical HPV virus infection. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that dampness-heat evil down, can damage and Chong Ren cell. The author believes that autophagy damage and the theory of dampness-heat injection in cervical HPV infection have similar pathogenic mechanism, and explores the prevention and treatment of autophagy and cervical HPV infection based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine dampness-heat injection, in attempt to provide a new treatment for clinical prevention and treatment.

The purpose of this paper is to think about the relationship between the thought of treating the disease of the Chinese medicine and preventing the subhealth. By discussing the connotation of traditional Chinese medicine and the concept of contemporary sub-health, it is considered that the prevention and cure of sub-health is the main category of "preventive treatment of disease". Both have different approaches but equally satisfactory results, while the Chinese use their own unique advantages, the clinical symptoms of Sub-health with personalized regulation and preventive effect, and opens up a new idea for clinical prevention and treatment of sub-health state.

Mitochondria are the key organelles that supply cellular energy. As the most active organ in the body, the energy required to maintain the mechanical function of the heart requires a high quantity of high-quality mitochondria in cardiomyocytes. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are single-stranded noncoding RNAs, approximately 22 nt in length, which play key roles in mediating post-transcriptional gene silencing. Numerous studies have confirmed that miRNAs can participate in the occurrence and development of cardiac diseases by regulating mitochondrial function-related genes and signaling pathways. Therefore, elucidating the crosstalk that occurs between miRNAs and mitochondria is important for the prevention and treatment of cardiac diseases. In this review, we discuss the biogenesis of miRNAs, the miRNA-mediated regulation of major genes involved in the maintenance of mitochondrial function, and the effects of miRNAs on mitochondrial function in cardiac diseases in order to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical prevention and treatment of cardiac disease and the development of new drugs.

Deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity is one of the common complications in orthopedic perioperative period. It is caused by many factors, such as peripheral vein dilation, slow blood flow, long-term immobilization, bed rest and so on. On the one hand, it affects the early postoperative functional exercise and functional recovery, on the other hand, it increases the length of hospital stay and economic burden, increases the pain of patients and even endangers their lives. Effective treatment of traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine can play a better role in the prevention and treatment of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis. This study expounds the concept of spleen and stomach meridians in the prevention and treatment of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis, and puts forward some opinions on the dialectical treatment and daily conditioning of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis, hoping to provide ideas for the clinical prevention and treatment of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis in traditional Chinese medicine.
