Learning PAI (Islamic Education) seeks to increase the interest of students to develop the knowledge, skills and ability to think about nature and its contents are full of secrets endless. Based Permendiknas No. 23 of 2006, Standard Competency Education Unit (SKL-SP) SMP / MTS include: students can find and apply information from the environment and other sources logically, critically and creatively, and students can demonstrate the ability analyze and solve problems in everyday life. The purpose of development research are: 1) to describe the model of PAI that has been applied in SMP Negeri 1 Puri Mojokerto 2) Describe the product feasibility PAI learning for junior secondary students and secondary review of aspects of the model Student Facilitator and Explaining 3) Produce Learning PAI student Facilitator and explaining the model that corresponds to the culture and character of students in SMP Negeri 1 Puri Mojokerto Products PAI learning facilitator and explaining the model student has been accomplished based analysis of trial data. Based on the measures that have been implemented can be concluded as follows. 1). Products are revised based on theoretically and empirically test results are: Revised by students by questionnaire: Change to increase the attractiveness of the model 2) Products that are developed interesting for classical learning in the classroom and independently. 3) The product of these products can ease the burden of teachers in teaching. 4) The results of expert validation and testing, PAI Learning Facilitator and explaining the model student is fit for use for subjects of Natural Sciences (PAI). 5) Products that are developed can increase students' motivation, and motivation is one of the conditions of implementation of productive models.

This article presents a contextual learning what it is and what are its characteristics? What is the statistical reasoning skills? Why contextual learning can develop statistical reasoning Traffic junior secondary students? Reasoning ability is very important statistical owned by junior high school students, because of the ability of these statistical penalaranr students may have competence in terms of: 1) understand the statistical information expressed or implied in any problems faced. 2) A good understanding of how to choose, present, mererduksi, and present data that will be used to address existing problems. 3) understanding and reasoning that both the statistical process as a whole including any calculations involved in the process. 4) understanding to solve the problem of statistically based on existing data, and interpret it in decision-making that can be applied generally. Therefore, to develop the statistical reasoning skills should consider learning approach used for junior secondary students. Model learning approach that is appropriate for school students first one of which is a contextual learning approach (Contextual Teaching and Learning). This contextual learning approach to take problems in daily life or simulated problems with dialogue, discussion ,, question and answer, and representation. Contextual teaching activities developed are: a) problem-based learning, b) learning with multi context, c) self-learning, d) authentic assessment, and e) a learning society.

The study aims to describe the type of learning difficulties and factors of the learning difficulties of students of class VII SMP N 4 Satu Atap Pakis in studying mathematics subjects on the set material. The type and approach in this research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study are with diagnostic tests, polls, and interviews. From the results of the study came the conclusion that the difficulties of students of class VII SMP N 4 Satu Atap Pakis in the material set is a) difficulty understanding the question b) difficulty understanding the mathematical symbols and can not find the keywords of the problem, c) difficulties Transforming the problem, d) difficulties in completing the problem. While the learning difficulty factor is caused by two factors that are internal and external factors. internal factors include: a) lack of interest in students, b) lack of motivation to learn, c) lack of confidence to ask. External factors, among others: a) The class atmosphere is not conducive, b) the influence of handphone in the student concentration, c) lack of parental assistance in supervision at home.

A well-tested comprehensive Chinese positive youth development program (Project P.A.T.H.S.) developed in Hong Kong has been modified and adapted for use in Macau. This program aims to help adolescent school children develop positively and to be better prepared for their future. The present study investigated the effectiveness of the Tier 1 Program of “P.A.T.H.S.” for Secondary 2 students of two pilot schools. Since there were “repeating” and “transferring” students joining the program, the effectiveness of the program on these particular groups of participants was also examined. The subjective outcome evaluations including participants' perceptions of the program, program instructors, benefits from the program, and overall satisfaction were positive. Although the longitudinal data from the objective outcome evaluation did not show any notable improvement, the overall effect of the program was found to be positive to the new comers in the junior secondary years. The existing evaluation findings suggest that the Secondary 2 program is especially effective to those newly joining the program. In view of the paucity of youth studies in Macau, the present study can contribute to evidence-based youth work and provide baseline data for the program to be evaluated in the Secondary 3 periods in the future.

Various explanations and solutions have been proposed over the last decade in relation to the implications of students' apparent lack of engagement with middle years schooling in Australia. This article reports on responses to a questionnaire by 333 Year 8 students (aged about 13, in the second year of high school) on perceptions of factors relating to their engagement with the academic curriculum. While the majority of students reported a strong sense of the importance of, and opportunities in, schooling, and saw English, mathematics and science connected to those opportunities, this orientation was not matched by corresponding positive engagement with these same subjects. There was diversity in the responses of students, and it is recommended that schools take steps to identify individual students' perceptions of factors influencing their engagement, and where appropriate, deal with those perceptions.
