Introduction. In this article the study subject is the power supply system of the pre-start heater. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the possibility of using a thermoelectric generator to power the liquid preheater with optimization of the flow section of the thermoelectric generator heat exchanger. Materials and Methods. It is proposed to use a thermoelectric generator as an additional energy source to reduce electric power consumption by a pre-start heater. In the course of the study, various structures of the flow section of the thermoelectric generator heat exchanger have been modeled. The thermal and hydrodynamic analyses were carried out in the software environment ANSYS Workbench, Solidworks Flow Simulation to develop the most effective design for the flow section of the thermoelectric generator heat exchanger Results. An experimental installation was assembled and the dependence of the temperature modes of the pre-start heater on the output parameters of the thermoelectric generator was determined. Discussion and Conclusion. It has been proved the possibility of reducing the power consumption of the vehicle battery during thermal preparation of the internal combustion engine by using a thermoelectric generator adapted to the power supply system of the liquid pre-start heater.

The Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant and Flywheel Battery were the two primarily compositive units of the Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant --Rotary UPS, among them the Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant ensured the continuous power supply to the load after the breaking of the mains supply, the Flywheel Battery ensured the uninterruptible continuous power supply to the load when mains supply switched to the Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant, so the paper started with the two units, Introduced the control system structure and principle, and focused on discussing the method of achieving the Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant --Rotary UPS telecommunication by Ethernet. The method had been applied in correlative production. The practice showed that it was convenient for usage and high reliability.

The main topic of the article is the development of an effective design for a pre-starting heating system for an internal combustion engine for conditions of limited power supply. The work to im-prove the design of light wheeled all-terrain vehicles on low pressure pneumatics is done at Pacific National University. Prototypes of light wheeled off-road vehicles are used mainly in agriculture and for forestry production. There are prerequisites for their use in oil and gas fields in the Far North conditions. This vehicle is operated all year round, in the absence of power supply, it is stored in the open air, so the problem of starting a cold engine is quite important, and the topic of creating a design for a pre-starting heating system for an internal combustion engine under conditions of limited or com-plete absence of power supply is relevant. The purpose of the work is to develop and study the efficiency of the pre-starting heating system for an internal combustion engine with liquid cooling for conditions of limited power supply. Our own design of the cooling system with a pre-starting heating function based on a gasoline burner was developed. To assess the efficiency of the engine warm-up process, the circuit was as-sembled on a light wheeled all-terrain vehicle. The experimental studies were carried out to deter-mine the regularity of changes in the temperature of the engine coolant during pre-starting heating at different ambient temperatures. The results of the experiment indicate the high efficiency of the developed system based on a gasoline burner. The average heating rate of the engine coolant during the warm-up process was 2.1 - 2.8 оС per minute, which indicates an intensive pace of pre-starting heating.

Abstract The paper considers the implementation prospects and features of the synthesis of an intelligent automatic system for diagnosing the internal combustion engine vibration of a power supply system in terms of developing technologies for automatic or remote control of unmanned vessels. The paper addresses the issue of predicting the technical condition of a combustion engine using available diagnostic methods. The study focuses on the equipment required for monitoring and analyzing the technical condition of the engine of an unmanned vessel when operating in automatic or remotely controlled mode. An algorithm has been developed for collecting, storing and accumulating data on the condition of the engine components and units in the on-board information system of the vessel to exchange data on the condition of the engine and its components during remote monitoring and to determine fault codes. The approaches to the synthesis of an intelligent automatic system for diagnosing the combustion engine vibration are considered from a methodological point of view. Vibration diagnostics equipment used for the analysis of the technical condition of the engine is proposed. Some results of the classification of the technical condition of the engine are presented. The expediency of introducing and using hybrid intelligent systems based on artificial neural networks is exemplified by diagnostics of the MITSUBISHI S16R engine.

When considering the main trends in the development of modern autonomous objects (aircraft, combat vehicles, motor vehicles, floating vehicles, agricultural machines, etc.) in recent decades, two key areas can be identified. The first direction is associated with the improvement of traditional designs of autonomous objects (AO) with an internal combustion engine (ICE) or a gas turbine engine (GTD). The second direction is connected with the creation of new types of joint-stock companies, namely electric joint-stock companies( EAO), joint-stock companies with combined power plants (AOKEU). The energy efficiency is largely determined by the power of the generator set and the battery, which is given to the electrical network in various driving modes. Most of the existing methods for calculating power supply systems use the average values of disturbing factors (generator speed, current of electric energy consumers, voltage in the on-board network) when choosing the characteristics of the generator set and the battery. At the same time, it is obvious that when operating a motor vehicle, these parameters change depending on the driving mode. Modern methods of selecting the main parameters and characteristics of the power supply system do not provide for modeling its interaction with the power unit start-up system of a motor vehicle in operation due to the lack of a systematic approach. The choice of a generator set and a battery, as well as the concept of the synthesis of the power supply system is a problem studied in the monograph. For all those interested in electrical engineering and electronics.

The article describes the principle of operation of the electric starter of the starting system of the internal combustion engine. Basic processes and dependencies were described, and the characteristics of the starter's work were discussed. The station for the starter testing, allowing the examination of its characteristics and technical condition when powered by a battery and braking by means of an electro-spin and friction brake, was characterized. The station also allows testing the battery operation characteristics in the conditions of the starter power supply at its constant load. The results of tests of the functioning of the starting system and its components, the battery and the starter in the stationary conditions and while driving the engine crank-shaft are presented. The possibilities of using the crankshaft driving signals as diagnostic signals of the state of the battery, starter and combustion engine are indicated. The signals recorded while driving the engine crankshaft by the starter were discussed.
