: The objective of this work was to demonstrate the important contribution of the field work to Environmental Education through the analysis of the perception of high school students in relation to the mangrove ecosystem. It is an experimental research with a qualitative-quantitative approach, where the students' perception was evaluated through semi-open questionnaires, field observation, post-field debate and reports produced by them. The results indicated that although the mangrove is one of the municipality’s ecosystems where the students live, the previous knowledge demonstrated by them in relation to such ecosystem was very limited. However, from the developed field work it was noticed a substantial change in students' perceptions, who began to understand, in a more comprehensive way, the characteristics of the mangrove and to recognize its importance, thus contributing to the construction of an environmental awareness.

To achieve substantial and sustainable levels of separation of municipal solid waste (MSW), it is essential to engage young people as they are important drivers of change and will have a major influence on the future of the world. This study aimed to understand Chinese high school students’ intention toward the separation of solid waste on campus (SSWC). The study has used the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as its theoretical framework, and further incorporates two additional constructs (environmental education and environmental knowledge) to explain the separation of solid waste (SSW) behavior of 562 high school students. The results indicate that environmental education is essential to ensure that students have required knowledge and positive attitudes toward SSWC. Knowledge was the best predictor of high school students’ separation behavior. Moreover, a lack of subjective norm from the important people could prevent students from participating in this process, regardless of their positive attitudes. The implications for policy and scope for further research are discussed.

Abdutivo. Indutivo. Dedutivo. Educação Matemática. Abstract This work is a cut of the report of an experimental research with the use of the software Graphmática. The experiment was carried out through a didactic sequence with high school students from a public school in Campo Grande, MS. The methodology used was the dialogic, which had as objective analyze the software's contribution and the dialogism to emerge the reasonings classified by Peirce as abductive, inductive and deductive. The results indicate that this possibility exists, but it requires more time with the students to gain confidence and to correct some weaknesses due to their lack of familiarity with bench technology, as well as some notation and verbal communication habits built during the school life. Keywords: Graphmatica. Abductive. Inductive. Deductive. Mathematical Education.

Abstract: This research aim is to know the effect of ecopedagogy model on aspect of ecological competence high school students. This study was quasi-experimental research with the Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group. The research subjects consisted of two classes namely XI IIS II as the experimental class and XI IIS I as the control class. This study was conducted at MAN 1 Sintang. The data analysis used independent sample t-test which showed that the ecopedagogy model had an effect on ecological competence students. From the results of the posttest, it can be seen that the experimental class has higher value rather than the control class.
Increasing awareness of climate change issues is a critical issue for all individuals in today's society. Environmental education is important to not only creating awareness of these issues, but taking action towards fostering positive change. Pre-university students have a strong voice on environmental issues that needs to be heard. Environmental education programs such as SeaTrust Institute's AWARE (Action Within a Resilient Environment) assist teens in learning about issues that directly impact their communities. AWARE combines environmental education with hands-on experiential learning projects in their communities. This program also connects high school students with other high school and college students enrolled in SeaTrust Institute's Global Internship.

The social dimension of environmental issues communicates the worsening of environmental problems as a result of human decisions. This descriptive-comparative study evaluates environmental education in the areas of knowledge, awareness, attitudes, skills, and participation of 323 sampled senior high school students. Data were collected using a researcher-made survey questionnaire and were analyzed using mean, t-test, and ANOVA. The findings of the study showed students’ high level of knowledge, attitude, skills, and participation. When grouped according to grade level and sex, significant differences were found in participation and in awareness when grouped according to grade level and strand. Consistently, a significant difference was found in the attitude when students were compared according to grade level, sex, and strand. Generally, this paper validates how knowledge and attitude affect human behavior towards the environment as mediated by appropriate environmental education. Likewise, it affirms that a positive attitude and concern towards the environment positively affects involvement in any environmental initiatives.
