The objective of this development research is to produce a mathematical problem-based learning tool on the topic of social arithmetic to improve the creative thinking skills of junior high school students. This research describes the quality of the learning tools developed in terms of three aspects, namely validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The development model employed in the development of this learning device is the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Learning devices meet the validity criteria indicated by the lesson plan score of 151 in the very good category. The assessment score of student's worksheet is 125 which is in a very good category. Teacher questionnaire responses obtain a score of 87 which is in the very practical category and the student response questionnaire obtains a score of 68.29 which is in the very practical category. The results of the analysis on the effectiveness show that the learning device meets the effectiveness criteria viewed from the percentage of completeness of 87%, the significance value of 0,000 <α (0.005), and the value of t count (6,604)> t table (1,645).

The main objective of this research is to produce junior high school Physics teaching materials oriented to a simple practical tool that can be used to foster junior high school students 'creative thinking skills, with the specific aim of knowing the indicators of junior high school students' creative thinking skills that can be grown through the use of a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with the design of Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Design (Design of Prates-Pascates Equivalent). This research was conducted at the Labschool Junior High School of Tadulako University where  the class VIII students being the research subjects. The research instrument used was an essay test and observation sheet. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data analyzed by inferential statistics, calculating the significance of the differences in the average of both groups of samples and qualitative data analyzed by using the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool could foster the creative thinking skills of the students of Labschool UNTAD Junior High School in the indicators of flexible thinking, fluent thinking and originality.

Problem-based learning model is a learning model emphasizes on solving the problem as a mean to know the students’ thinking skills and bring learning process more meaningful. But there are some problems in the learning that many teachers still relied their learning practices conventionally in which make students often bored and uncomfortable within the classroom. The purpose of this research is revealing the development of learning practices using problem-based learning model of junior high school students in Indonesia in 2010-2019. This research used qualitative approach and the result shown that problem-based learning model has been used widely and has attracted many first high school students to improve their competencies. Therefore, teachers need to create such innovations based on problem-based learning.

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in creative thinking skills of junior high school students who use learning by using the problem posing approach and the scientific approach to classroom learning, especially in mathematics. Quasi experiment is this type of research with the control group pre test and post test design. The research was conducted at one of the junior high schools in Cimahi City. As many as 62 students of class VII being sampled in this study consisted of 30 students in the experimental class with problem posing learning and 32 students in the control class with scientific learning. The testing in this study uses IBM SPSS version 22 software. The conclusions from the results of this study are 1) Increasing the ability of mathematical creative thinking by using a problem posing approach better than the scientific approach, 2) A problem posing approach if it is well planned for effectiveness when learning takes place, and 3) Students who are inaccurate in solving the problem of the ability to think creatively because they do not understand the problems asked in the questions. This can be seen from several responses of students who are incomplete in giving responses

Purpose of the study: This study aimed to describe the ability of creative thinking and student motivation and whether there is a relationship between creative thinking with student motivation to learn mathematics. Methodology: In this study using quantitative associative research types with correlational designs using 125 junior high school students obtained using purposive sampling techniques, data analysis in this study using descriptive and inferential statistics. Main Findings: In this study, there is a relationship between creative thinking skills and student motivation in mathematics, which is supported by creative thinking skills and motivation that shows good dominant results. Applications of this study: This research can be a consideration for teachers in teaching mathematics to develop students' creative thinking skills and foster student motivation in learning. Novelty/Originality of this study: In this study, the renewal is to see from two indicators possessed by creative thinking skills, namely sensitivity, and elaboration, as well as motivation that has a relationship with creative thinking.
