This research aims to investigate the factors influencing the rate of foreign tourists’ visit to tourism destination in North Sumatra, Indonesia. The data were collected using observation, interview, documentation study and questionnaires. The data were analysed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of the study indicated that the ancillary facilities are the dominant factor influencing tourists’ visit to tourism destination in North Sumatera. The factors of service quality and facilities and infrastructures provide negative influence on tourists’ visit to tourism destination.

This study aims to analyze the patterns of Muslim consumption behaviors in the Ramadhan month around Jambi. A multiple linear regression analysis model is used to see the factors influencing the consumption behaviors. The finding shows that cultural and religiosity variables are the dominant factors influencing the pattern of Muslim consumption behaviors in the Ramadhan month. From the statistic results of SPSS verse 22, it was found the coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) obtained at 0.164. (16.4%). It reflects that 16.4% of consumption patterns influencing by the Cultural, Social, Religiusity and Psychology variables while the remaining 83.6% consumption patterns are influenced by unnecessary variables in this research.

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and financial technology (fintech) partially influencing financial inclusion in the people of North Sumatra, then to determine the effect of financial literacy and financial technology (fintech) simultaneously influencing financial inclusion in the people of North Sumatra. The research samples are 100 respondents. The method of analysis in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the regression analysis partially show financial literacy and financial technology have a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion in the people of North Sumatra. Simultaneously financial literacy and financial technology affect financial inclusion in society North Sumatra. The most dominant variable affecting financial inclusion is financial literacy.

Poverty is a problem in development. With the existence of poverty, development is hampered. The factors causing poverty include population and GDP. This study aims at determining the effect of population and GDP on poverty in North Sumatra in 2008-2017 so that the bias is used as a basis for determining policies and strategies in overcoming poverty in North Sumatra. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) while the data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 24. The results show that the population and GRDP had a significant effect on poverty in North Sumatra.

This research is associative descriptive with the aim of this research is to explain the influence of factors from the concept of AIDA (attention, interest, desire, action), to determine the effect of AIDA on the effectiveness of online shop ads, and to explain the relationship of AIDA factors (Attention, Interest , Desire, Action) is the most dominant on the effectiveness of online shop advertising. The results of a study of 175 shoppers at online shop stores (Bukalapak, Lazada, Shop, Tokopedia, F-Thing, Purchasing) using factor analysis and multiple linear regression, the results obtained are four factors called interest, desire, action, attention . Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, partially the three factors of interest, desire, action have a significant effect or have a strong effect on the effectiveness of online shop advertising, while the attention factor does not have a strong or significant effect on the effectiveness of online shop advertising, and attention, interest, desire, action have an effect significantly based on joint testing. Interest is the dominant factor influencing online advertising.

This study aims to determine the effect of Inflation, Exchange Rate and Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) to Return of PT Nikko Securities Indonesia Stock Fund period 2014-2017. The study used secondary data obtained through documentation in the form of PT Nikko Securities Indonesia Monthly Net Asset (NAB) report. Data analysis is used with quantitative analysis, multiple linear regression analysis using eviews 9. Population and sample in this research are PT Nikko Securities Indonesia. The result of multiple linear regression analysis was the coefficient of determination (R2) showed the result of 0.123819 or 12%. This means that the Inflation, Exchange Rate and Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) variables can influence the return of PT Nikko Securities Indonesia's equity fund of 12% and 88% is influenced by other variables. Based on the result of the research, the variables of inflation and exchange rate have a negative and significant effect toward the return of PT Nikko Securities Indonesia's equity fund. While the variable of Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) has a negative but not significant effect toward Return of Equity Fund of PT Nikko Securities Indonesia
