<p><em>Remuneration is a term that relates to employee payroll which is set by certain regulations routinely based on work values, with the aim of creating better and cleaner governance and increasing motivation and work performance. Performance is determined by assessing the compilation oflecturer’swork files and then verified by the department that responsible to it. Rule Base Reasoning is an expert system based on a series of rules that represent human knowledge and experience in solving some complex cases. Expert system is a system whose capability to adopt human knowledge in solving problems so the system can solve problems as is usually done by experts. To implement this method a web-based system is used using the PHP programming language with the concept of Object Oriented Programming with ecpectation this system can be designed more easily and can be developed continuously so it can optimize the acceptance of lecturer remuneration andso far it can minimize the possibility of errors due to human errors. on institutions and lecturers.</em></p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: <em>Remuneration, Rule Base Reasoning, Performance, Lecturers, Expert Systems.</em><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><em>Remunerasi merupakan sebuah istilah yang berhubungan dengan penggajian pegawai yang ditetapkan dengan peraturan tertentu secara rutin berdasarkan nilai-nilai kerja, dengan tujuan terciptanya tata kelola yang lebih baik dan bersih serta meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi kerja.

Early information systems were mainly built around secondary, administrative processes of the value chain (e.g., accounting). But since the internet came into use, more and more primary processes have become accessible to automation: customer acquisition, ordering, billing and, in the case of intangible goods such as software, even delivery. Hence an increasing part of an enterprise has to be modeled and a substantial part thereof is implemented, usually in an object-oriented programming language like Java. To facilitate this complex task, the MEMO methodology (Multi-perspective Enterprise MOdeling) allows the description of the enterprise on three levels – strategy, organization and information system – and from four angles – process, structure, resources and goals. All partial models for the views are integrated via a common object-oriented core. In this framework we suggest a modeling method for the IS layer, the Event-driven Method Chain (EMC). It is based on the Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) by Scheer, which we adapt to fit both the MEMO methodology and the object-oriented paradigm thus making it suitable for the development of web-based applications. To illustrate this we use the example of a software trading company.

Computer vision includes a variety of tasks of different natures, and there are many applications that have a strong need for knowledge representation and use. Typical knowledge representation methods used in computer vision include frames, rules, logic, constraints, and attributed prototype graphs. Although the advantages of hybrid approaches to knowledge representation have been recognized, no hybrid tool for high-level computer vision is available yet. In this paper we first present a general framework for a hybrid knowledge representation tool. It is based on object-oriented programming and offers distinctive features such as high flexibility, coherence, and a clean integration of a collection of knowledge-based techniques. Then we give a brief overview of our computer vision tool VISTO, which was created along the framework discussed in the first part of the paper. With an application example we illustrate the use of VISTO and the advantages of hybrid knowledge representation in comparison to non-hybrid approaches.

Abstract A knowledge-based geometric modeling system for preliminary design was developed using object-oriented approach. Three types of knowledge for design, i.e. the model representing a design product including the geometric model, the procedures manipulating the design product and the knowledge managing the design process were integrated in the system. The model built up with object-oriented programming provides an effective and flexible design environment. Finally, the system was applied to the preliminary design of a ship’s hull arrangement to ascertain its validity and effectiveness.

Early information systems were mainly built around secondary, administrative processes of the value chain (e.g., accounting). But since the Internet came into use, more and more primary processes have become accessible to automation: customer acquisition, ordering, billing and, in the case of intangible goods such as software, even delivery. To facilitate this complex task, we suggest that the relevant parts of the enterprise be modeled according to the MEMO (Multi-perspective Enterprise MOdeling) method. It allows for the description of an enterprise on three levels-strategy, organization and information system-and from four angles-process, structure, resources and goals. All partial models for the views are integrated via a common object-oriented core. In this framework we suggest a modeling language for the IS layer, the Event-driven Method Chain (EMC), a process-oriented language based on Event-driven Process Chains (EPCs), which we adapt to fit both the MEMO framework and the object-oriented paradigm, thus making it suitable for the development of Web-based applications in an object-oriented programming language. To illustrate this we use the example of a software trading company.

Abstract “Qualitative” is a python toolkit for ranking and selection of sentence-level output by different MT systems using Quality Estimation. The toolkit implements a basic pipeline for annotating the given sentences with black-box features. Consequently, it applies a machine learning mechanism in order to rank data based on models pre-trained on human preferences. The preprocessing pipeline includes support for language models, PCFG parsing, language checking tools and various other pre-processors and feature generators. The code follows the principles of object-oriented programming to allow modularity and extensibility. The tool can operate by processing both batch-files and single sentences. An XML-RPC interface is provided for hooking up with web-services and a graphical animated web-based interface demonstrates its potential on-line use.
