In the introductory part, the author defines the basic terms used in the article: culture, cultural norms, language-communication skills, knowledge and its deficits, intercultural communication in Polish-Russian relations and the concept of defective communication. The purpose of this article is to describe the various causes of defective communication in Polish-Russian relations. In the following sections of the article, the author describes and exemplifies symptoms of defective communication, the over-ethnic causes of communication failures, the ethnic Polish-Russian determinants of defective interpersonal communication related to knowledge deficits, Russian language skills and stricte cultural determinants of unfortunate communication in selected spheres of life.

In today's global environment, the nursing profession is regarded as a noble, challenging and competitive profession. Malaysian trained nurses are highly in demand due to their training and on-going efforts are made to ensure that the standards are well-maintained. This paper describes a part of a larger study. It reports the findings of a study pertaining to the needs of English language communication skills for nurses in a private hospital in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. The study focused on the needs of English language communication skills at the workplace. These skills were written and spoken English communication, reading, listening, and interpersonal communication. By identifying these communicative competency needs, the study has given insights into helping the nurses to increase their work performance, meet their work demands and help the employability of the nurses globally.

Аннотация: В статье рассматривается одна из целей обучения русскому языку – развитие навыков межкультурной коммуникации и формирование толерантного отношения к чужой культуре через ознакомление со своей и другими культурами. Автор статьи предлагает в качестве примера сопоставительный анализ двух учебных текстов. Данные тексты взяты из учебного пособия, ав- тором которого она является. Лингвокультурологический аспект работы над текстом заключается в выявлении национально-специфических особенностей текста на всех уровнях: содержательном, формальном, языковом. Цели данного лингвокультурологического анализа текста на лексико-фразеологическом уровне состоит в том, чтобы: 1) выявить языковые единицы с национально-культурной семантикой; 2) сопоставить их с фактами родного языка и культуры, выделить общее и национально-специфическое в языковых единицах. Ключевые слова: полиязычие; межкультурная коммуникация; культурное самосознание; формирование сознания; языковая подготовка; информационная переработка. Аннотация: Макалада орус тилин окутуунун максаттарынын бири – маданияттар аралык коммуникациянын көндүмдөрүн өнүктүрүү жана өзүнүн, башка маданияттар менен таанышуу аркылуу чет өлкөлөргө сабырдуу мамилени калыптандыруу каралып жатат. Макаланын жазуучу эки окуу тексттерди салыштырмалуу талдоо мисалдары катары сунуш кылат. Бул тексттер ал жазуучу болуп саналган окуу жөлөкпулунан алынган. Тексттин үстүндөгү иштин лингвоультурологиялык аспектиси бардык деңгээлдеги тексттин улуттук-өзгөчөлүү өзгөчөлүктөрүн аныктоодо турат: мазмундуу, формалдуу, тилдик. Максаттары ошол курт-кумурскалар талдоо текстинин лексикалык фразеологиялык деңгээлинде кароо үчүн: 1) аныктоого, тилдик бирдиктер менен улуттук-маданий семантикалык; 2) салыштыруу аларды Нооруз майрамы менен эне тилди жана маданиятты бөлүп, жалпы жана улуттук- мүнөздүү тилдик бирдиктерди анализдеген. Abstract: The article considers one of the goals of teaching the Russian language- the development of intercultural communication skills and the formation of a tolerant attitude to another's culture through familiarization with their own and other cultures. The author offers a comparative analysis of two educational texts as an example. These texts are taken from the textbook, the author of which she is. The linguistic and cultural aspect of the work on the text is to identify the national-specific features of the text at all levels: content, formal, linguistic. The purpose of this linguistic and cultural analysis of the text at the lexical and phraseological level is to: 1) identify language units with national-cultural semantics; 2) compare them with the facts of the native language and culture, to highlight the General and national-specific in the language units. The urgency is substantiated by the fact that according to the state standard, the purpose of teaching foreign languages within the basic course is to master the basics of foreign language communication, which requires a teacher to provide situations that would stimulate communication, in particular, real communication situations that arise in various spheres of life and relate to different topics. The purpose of the article is to determine the essence and effectiveness of the use of learning and speaking situations for the development of foreign language skills of students as one of the criteria for the formation of pedagogical skills of a foreign language teacher. Theoretical methods applied: analytical and descriptive methods of elaboration of theoretical and critical sources and resources; generalization of the received scientific data; synthesis and generalization of own long-term experience of preparation of future teachers of a foreign language. The use of learning-speaking situation in a foreign language lesson can serve different purposes of learning: to develop skills of dialogic and monologue speech, to help learn lexical and grammatical material. When developing foreign language skills, care should be taken to ensure that students are motivated. Therefore, students' learning activities are organized in such a way that they perform motivated actions with speech material to solve communicative tasks aimed at achieving the goals and intentions of communication. To do this, the teacher should create situations that would stimulate communication, in particular, situations of real communication that arise in different areas of life and relate to different topics. The core idea of the article lies in the fact, that the learning situation should evoke certain emotions in students. And this is possible only when the situation is completely clear to children and the teacher offers it interesting, enthusiastic and students have a desire to participate in communication. Learning situations, texts, and taking into account students' personal experiences can help manage the learning process. Discussion of situations built on the basis of relationships allows you to make the learning process as natural as possible, close to the conditions of real communication. The results of the study allow to make sure that the use of learning and speaking situations for the development of students' communication skills is one of the criteria for the formation of pedagogical skills of a foreign language teacher, as it requires him to show creative initiative, methodical training interest in the subject, to activate students, intelligently and subtly «conduct» the cognitive activity of students. And the most important criterion is productivity, which is the ability of students to hypothetically demonstrate well-formed foreign language communication skills in different areas and different life situations. An analytical review of information sources on the development of foreign language communication skills has been carried out, substantiates the nature and effectiveness of the use of learning and speaking situations for the development of foreign language skills of students as one of the criteria for developing pedagogical skills of a foreign language teacher has been substantiated in the article. The types of use of learning and speaking situations in a foreign language lesson have been determined. The types of exercises were substantiated, taking into account various educational and speech situations. Emphasis was placed on the advantages of using learning and speaking situations for the formation of students' foreign language communication skills. The results of the study allow to make sure that the use of learning and speaking situations for the development of students' communication skills is one of the criteria for the formation of pedagogical skills of a foreign language teacher, as it requires him to show creative initiative, methodical training interest in the subject, to activate students, intelligently and subtly «conduct» the cognitive activity of students. And the most important criterion is productivity, which is the ability of students to hypothetically demonstrate well-formed foreign language communication skills in different areas and different life situations.

Аннотация: В статье предлагается общий обзор двуязычия в Кыргызской Республике и необходимости изучения иностранных языков для развития толерантной личности. The article offers a general overview of bilingualism in the Kyrgyz Republic and the need to learn foreign languages for advancing tolerance in a society. Special attention is paid to the language skills of people as one of the important development conditions of the country itself. Compliance with coordination in the teaching of the English, Russian and Kyrgyz languages is one of the main ways to maintain and increase interest in the study of languages. Knowledge of several languages gives a person an ability to carry out communicative activities and strive to expand own linguistic worldview. Multilingual communicative capacity of the local population can also be considered as one of the conditions for economic growth in the country.
