This research analyzed mathematics communication skills with the Means-End Analysis model assisted with Manipulative Property (APM), MEA with Linear System Pro application, and PBL based on the eighth graders' self-efficacy. This quasi-experimental research used a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were eighth-graders of Public JHS 4 Adiwerna. The samples were VIII-C learners as the first experimental group, VIII-G learners as the second experimental group, and VIII-H learners as the control group. The data collecting techniques were mathematics communication skill test and self-efficacy inventory. The results were: (1) MEA with APM (82.75%), MEA with Linear System Pro (78.12%), and PBL (75%) of the learners reached the minimum mastery standard with a proportion percentage, 75%; (2) there were mean differences between MEA assisted by APM, MEA assisted by Linear System Pro, and PBL toward the learners’ mathematics communication skills, (3) there were significant differences of self-efficacy: high, moderate, and low toward the learners’ mathematics communication skills; and (4) there were interactions between learning models with the levels of self-efficacy toward learners’ mathematics communication skills. The COVID-19 pandemic has made people rely on the presence of the internet to run their business. Businesses, schools, retail, religious gatherings, and other components are all required to use an internet platform in some way. People can meet face-to-face and the feature of the contact is reinforced by both verbal and non-verbal communication prior to the viral eruption, making conversation much easier. The goal of this study is to emphasize the importance of being present during the COVID-19 Pandemic as well as the future projection of presence post-pandemic. Being present, as before the pandemic, comes effortlessly without conscious reflection because the interaction takes place offline without any restrictions. The result from this research that being present is the most crucial communication skill; it is the foundation of communication and can aid in more effective engagement on all levels (perception, comprehension, reasoning, memory, and production).

This study aimed to determine the effect of zakat empowerment with MSMEs on the economic people empowerment according to the mustahik perceptions. This research used descriptive analysis with Cartesian coordinate approach. The results showed that the quality of LAZISMU in the MSMEs empowerment program in each dimension of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy was almost entirely good quality. The tangible dimension can be shown through the ease of procedures for submitting assistance and the period of its realization. The suitability between everything described by the officer with the reality on the reliable dimension is the main priority factor. The politeness, friendliness and communication skill of officers in the empathy dimension are factors that must be maintained. While transparency in providing information on survey results on the assurance dimension is a low priority factor. The monitoring on the impact of empowerment on the responsiveness dimension and the strategic location of the LAZISMU office on the tangible dimension was considered excessive. There is an effect of zakat empowerment with MSMEs on increasing the people's economic income in terms of service quality according to the perceptions of mustahik. This research suggests LAZISMU Magetan for accelerates the realization of assistance proposals and the ease in applying for assistance.

This study aims to develop students' communication skills in the Physics Curriculum Study course through the use of Digital Worksheets. The subjects of this study were 23 students of class 5B. The student came from the Physics Education Study Program, University of Mataram, who attended the Physics Curriculum Study course in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research instrument used was a student communication skill observation sheet with three indicators. Observations were made online at the Learning Management System (LMS) equipped with Digital Worksheets on the Discussion Forum menu. Observations were made every meeting, namely 14 times using a 4-scale rating score. The increase in score from the first meeting to the last meeting was calculated using N-gain. The average score of student communication skills is 79.5 which is in good criteria. The improvement of students' communication skills based on the calculation of N-gain is 72.7 which is in the high category. Thus, the use of Digital Worksheets can develop students' communication skills in the Physics Curriculum Study course.

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of motivation, communication skill, and work environment on employee performance at PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study is the entire number of employees at PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi in October 2021 with 237 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Based on the calculations, the number of samples in this study was set at 149 employees. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear analysis technique. The results showed that there is no effect of motivation on employee performance at PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi. There is effect of communication skill on employee performance at PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi. There is effect of work environment on employee performance at PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi. Simultaneously there are effect of motivation, communication skill, and work environment on employee performance at PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi. The results of the regression calculation can be seen that the coefficient of determination (R square) obtained is 0.170, this result means that 17% of employee performance can be explained by the variables of motivation, communication skill, and work environment, while the remaining 83% is explained by other variables that are not researched. The changes of curriculum affect all learning aspects including students. It changes the students’ communication skill, and it can be a problem. To overcome that problem, cooperative learning model is considered to be a solution because this model has many types of strategies such as think pair share (TPS) and send greetings and questions (SGQ). The aims of this study were to investigate the effect of TPS and SGQ implementation toward students’ communicative skills, and to find out the differences of students’ communication skill after learning through TPS and SGQ. This study was a comparative and experimental research. The population was students of Indraprasta University into two classes:1st class consisted of 20 students and the 2nd class consisted of 24 students. The data were attained by using questionnaire for communication skills, observation sheet for the implementation of TPS and SGQ cooperative learning model, and documentation for mid and final test. The result showed that (1) there was a significant effect of TPS implementation toward students’ communication skills; (2) there was a significant effect of SGQ implementation toward students’ communication skills; and (3) there was no difference of students’ communication skills between the implementation of TPS and SGQ cooperative learning model.

Mathematical communication skills are important, and education should facilitate students to improve their mathematical communication skills. The purpose of this study was to develop e-learning based on Moodle to improve students' mathematical communication and self-efficacy and student self-efficacy and describe how to students’ mathematic communication and student self-efficacy. This study used mixed-method research. The population in this study were Year 5 students at a private primary school. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation and tests. The implementation with Moodle was effective to the students’ mathematic communication and self-efficacy student. Overall, the students’ mathematical communication skills and self-efficacy of students using E-learning based Moodle is better than those using conventional learning. Also, self-efficacy positively affects students' communication skills with a very strong correlation coefficient, meaning that the higher students' self-efficacy, the higher students' communication skills.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas keterampilan konseling pada layanan bimbingan kelompok Guru BK di SMK dengan menerapkan open class. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling yang bekerja di SMK yang memiliki kualfikasi masa kerja minimal 4 tahun, berpendidikan minimal S1, bersedia melakukan rangkaian kegiatan lesson study dan bersedia menjadi guru model pada open class layanan bimbingan kelompok. Instrumen penelitian berupa hasil evaluasi dan refleksi konseli, hasil wawancara, hasil dokumentasi, hasil observasi dari peneliti, kolega bimbingan dan konseling, dan catatan penelitian. Metode penelitian menggunakan PTBK dengan rancangan jenis eksperimen model Kurt Lewin, pengujian analisis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian adalah dari aspek keterampilan konseling yang diteliti salah satunya adalah mind skill mampu diterapkan oleh seluruh Guru BK, namun terdapat 2 guru BK yang perlu melatih kembali aspek action skill dan 1 lagi guru BK memerlukan latihan pada communication skill

Having a reasonable effort of adapting to the change will improve the organization's performance. Good communication with the leaders, colleagues, and employees will ease communicating the organization's problems for achieving the best organizational performance. A good work environment will influence more the employee's motivation to work to improve the employee's performance. Conducting the working programs, the government will establish teamwork to fasten the organization's performance achievement. This research aims to analyze the influence of adaptability, communication skills, and working environment on employee performance at Medan Mayor's Office with teamwork as the intervening variable. This research population is government employees at Medan mayor's office with a total of 555 employees, with the amount of the sample being 232 employees. The analysis uses statistics and path analysis. The result shows the adapting ability, communication skills, and working environment directly significantly influence teamwork, and then the adaptability, communication skill, and work environment positively and significantly affect employee performance. Indirectly, collaboration is positively and significantly able to mediate the relationship between adaptability, communication skill, work environment, and employee performance. Therefore, teamwork is significantly able to be the intervening variable in this research.
