AbstractCompact-siro spun with lattice apron combines compact spinning and siro spinning, and is widely put into practice. In this paper, compact-siro spun models with the parallel shaped slots, oblique parallel shaped slots and V-shaped slots were simulated. Based on the airflow data in the condensing zone, the geometrical model of single fiber is built, and then the trajectory of single fiber can be got. The morphological changes and movement process of fiber strands in the flow field of condensing zone were verified by the comparison experiments of yarn morphology, hairiness, tensile and evenness properties. The results showed that the V-shaped slot achieved the optimal agglomeration effect and yarn performance. The theory analysis gives foundation and explanation for the experiment, and also provides a theoretical basis for optimizing the properties of compact-siro yarn in production practice.

The crystal plugging of tunnel drainage pipe seriously affects the safe and normal use of the tunnel. In order to obtain the mechanism of flocking drainage pipe anti crystal plugging based on the characteristics of flow field distribution, numerical simulation was used to optimize the parameters of flocking drainage pipe. The results show that: with the existence of fluff, the velocity in the lower part of the drainage pipe decreases by about 50%, and the velocity in the upper part increases by about 25~50%. With the increase of the length of fluff, the velocity funnel between fluffs gradually increases, the velocity distribution at the bottom of the funnel is basically unchanged, and the velocity in the upper part gradually increases. The velocity in the upper part of the flocked drainage pipe fluctuates above the fluff to a certain extent. The flow velocity in the lower part of the drainage pipe forms a flow velocity ladder in the longitudinal direction of the villus, and the width of the ladder is about 2/3 of the longitudinal spacing of the villus. The optimized parameters of 3-D flow field of flocked drainage pipe are helpful to the further improvement of indoor test, and provide theoretical basis for the mechanism of preventing crystal blockage of flocked drainage pipe.

A digital car model was taken as study object, and the influence of the regulating seam to an open type automobile wind tunnel was discussed by comparing simulation results with test data.The results show that the regulating seam changes the flow field around the collector, reduces the size of unsteady flow field and the flow in test section is uniformed better. Thus, the regulating seam shouldn’t be removed when simplifying the wind tunnel model in the simulation. This conclusion will provide theoretical basis and data support for better virtual reproduction and numerical simulation of a wind tunnel.

The paper focuses on the resistance characteristic of a novel M-beam separator. Adopting the combination of experiment study and numerical simulation, we achieve that 2D simulation has the similar results as 3D in predicting resistance characteristic which provides the theoretical basis for next research. An M-beam separator model ten times larger than original one based on similitude principle was made for sake of flow field visualization research. The paper analyses flow field distribution of the amplifying M-beam separator by silk thread display technology and the experiment results are well consistent with 2D numerical simulation. The flow field distribution described here could serve as a reference for developing M-beam separator.

The characteristics of air flow inside the inner channel of a Hema-type ATY(Air-Textured Yarn) nozzle were simulated based on the geometrical model of the inner channel built up usingPRO/E and the turbulent air-jet with a standard k-ε model simulated using Fluent.The simulation revealed that the ideal air in equivalent temperature came to channel while the flow pressure reached to the minimum.The results visually demonstrated the flow field of the inner channel of Hema-type ATY nozzle.And it could be a valuable reference for optimizing parameter on the Hema-type ATY nozzle.

For cooperating with automation of flow measurement in irrigation districts, the method of flow measurement needs to be improved. Considering that sedimentation may appear at most channels and comparing with common water measure equipment, cutthroat flume measuring flume become the most suitable flow measurement structure adopted in irrigation districts with the advantages of the simple structure, the lower upstream backwater, not easy to silt the flume and so on. In the background of the cutthroat flume of one channel in the Ye River irrigation district of Shijiazhuang and on the basis of RNG k-εturbulence model, the 3-D numerical simulation of the flow field of cutthroat flume is carried out to obtain the distribution of velocity field and pressure field. By comparing the calculation value of nodal velocity with the measured value of nodal velocity, the reliability of the result of numerical simulation is proved. The above conclusions provide theoretical basis for further optimization design of cutthroat flume.

The air flow field of a foreign fiber separator is simulated numerically. Effects of design parameters such as the nozzle diameter and entrance width of the noil box on the air velocity along nozzle axis, turbulence intensity, and jet deflection distance are studied. Larger nozzle diameters and larger entrance widths of the noil box are advantageous to the elimination of foreign fibers. The results provide a theoretical basis for the design of foreign fiber separators.

Aiming at sufficiently recognizing and optimally designing the flow structure of impinging stream, and accommodating theoretical basis with the improvement and innovation of processing equipment, this dissertation researched the mathematical model of Liquid-continuous impinging streams. It, primarily, established the mathematical model of Liquid-continuous impinging streams through analyzing the physical characteristics of flow field of Liquid-continuous impinging streams.Then it obtained the locus function, velocity function and pressure function of Liquid-continuous impinging streams though solving equation of the model.Finally it made a numerical simulation about Liquid-continuous impinging streams by using CFD software.The result of numerical simulation and the analysis about flow characteristic suggests that the mathematical model established by this paper is appropriate for describing the flow field of Liquid-continuous impinging streams.

A simulation model of the flow field in the different-speed mixer was built based on UG software in this paper. The characteristics which including the pressure value, flow rate and maximum shear stress were analyzed by the ANSYS-Fluent, as well as the variation of the material form. The results of the analysis provide theoretical basis for the reasonable structure design and performance analysis of the different-speed mixer.
