Abstract The article presents an analysis of air masses and precipitation transport to the area of EANET monitoring station in Russian Primorsky Krai (Primorskaya) during the warm seasons (June–October) for the period 2013–2018. The relative contributions of chemical compounds transfer from marine or continental regions were defined. The probability of sulfate and nitrate concentration values in precipitation was calculated separately in line with backward trajectory sectors. Obtained information is used for estimating contributions of marine and continental sources into wet deposition fluxes onto the Russian Far East areas.

One of the main goals in the regional biogeochemical research of East Asia is to evaluate the state of acid deposition and the related pollution within EANET region (EANET, 2019). In the south of the Russian Far East there are two networks developed to monitor the content of acidic substances in atmospheric fall-out. The first one is the Russian national precipitation chemistry stations operated for more than 30 years, and the second is the international atmospheric monitoring sites supervised by EANET and WMO-GAW (Yearbook, 2019). We calculate the total deposition of airborne sulfur and nitrogen in a large region to evaluate their atmospheric balances under the transboundary influence. The present study focuses on the development and application of the spatial interpolation method to estimate wet deposition fluxes based on the monitoring data for 2013-2018. On the first step of the algorithm, we analyze the correlation of pollution monitoring results between network stations and estimate the maximum radius of representativeness for each station. On the second step, we interpolate the precipitation chemistry data for the set of meteorological stations located in the region under the study and calculate the wet deposition fluxes of sulfur and nitrogen for these sites. The flux values obtained are further interpolated for the regular grid of 10-km by 10-km cells within the region under the study. Finally, the total wet sulfur and nitrogen deposition for the region is a sum of deposition fluxes calculated for each cell. Additionally, we compared the data obtained with the correspondent flux calculated on the basis of the national snow cover chemistry network for the same region and period.

References

EANET. AnnotaIntroduction. To prevent climate-dependent diseases, it is important to identify relationships in the system “Climate and weather - human vital activity”, which is especially important in present conditions of significant climate change. The purpose of the work is to probate the methodology of forecasting the adverse impact of extremely hot weather on human health in the South of the Russian Far East. Material and Methods. Analysis of the synoptic situations was made on the basis of meteorological data for one observation time to the 34 weather stations in the South of the Russian Far East for 2000-2012. Data on the general mortality rate (the entire population and separately for the age group of 65 years and older) in Khabarovsk for 2000-2012. To determine the characteristics of synoptic situations and their possible impact on the human body analysis of air masses and mortality was carried out. Results. The “mortality window” for the hot period of the year is revealed: it is shown that marine and continental tropical air masses are the most unfavorable for human health. It is shown that in the summer mortality in Khabarovsk increases by 12% when in the area of action of extremely hot and humid tropical marine air masses, by 11% - in the continental tropical air masses. Conclusion. The model of mortality forecast depending on weather conditions can be the basis for the development of the system for preventing the impact of extremely high temperatures on human health.ciya

An East Asian-Oriental noctuid species Callopistria aethiops Butler, 1878 is recorded from Russia for the first time. The trend of invasions of the southern Macroheterocera species into the Russian Far East has existed at least during last century but is noticeably increased during last 20 years.

Subject. The article addresses the tax liabilities of taxpayers registered in the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District, which should be paid to the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation, as well as the factors of the said debt growth. Objectives. Our aim is to assess the level of tax debt of regions of the Russian Far East and identify the correlation between the factors and the amount of tax debt. Methods. The study rests on methods of analysis, generalization, grouping, systematization, and the correlation and regression analysis. Results. We analyzed the level of tax debt for the entire Far Eastern Federal District and by region, identified factors affecting the growth of tax debt therein. The paper assesses the structure of tax debt by type of taxes and activity of debtors. The unveiled factors may help control changes in the size of tax debt in the Russian Far East and develop effective measures to improve the debt collection. Conclusions. The study shows that there is an increase in the tax debt in the regions of the Russian Far East, in the VAT in particular. The factor analysis revealed that the volume of sales of wholesale enterprises, investment in fixed capital, the consumer price index have the largest impact on the amount of tax debt.

The paper summarizes information on chromosome numbers (CNs) of the Grass species (Poaceae) in the flora of Russian Federation, obtained on the original material, most part - from the Russian Far East (RFE). In some species the CNs are known in Russia or in the world only from RFE, in some – from one locality or few, or from one subregion of RFE. The grass species in RFE often occur in mountain regions and near seacoasts; some species are endemics, some were studied near the limits of their geographical distribution areas. The diversity of CNs, the special features of the CNs distribution in some grass groups are discussed. The alien species are abundant in RFE, and their CNs are also involved in the study. For karyologically polymorphous species further studies are needed.
