While conducting research on debt in the lives of sex workers in Hồ Chí Minh City, I stumbled upon an ad a moneylender had glued to a wall. It revealed that financialization was thriving in Vietnam, and more specifically that credit was rapidly expanding and colonizing the urban landscape. Photography became a tool to visually capture this radical financial transformation. This article argues that photography can be an effective inductive research method for moving from the particular to the general and seeing the big picture. I contend that looking at the world through the camera viewfinder with an open mind can help us to uncover hidden patterns and generate a rich and meaningful overall picture of a research problem. This process facilitates the formation of research perspectives and generalizations based on observations. I support this argument by describing the reflexive journey that drove me from photographing debt records in enclosed spaces to wandering in Hồ Chí Minh City’s streets to document a thriving credit boom. This journey radically transformed my research agenda on credit and debt.

The article put attention on the need for a methodological collaboration analysis of the academic and modern types of teaching sculpture in the specialized creative colleges and universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the modern educational and aesthetic discourse. The main research problem focuses on identifying and characterizing the most relevant educational theoretical and practical methods that can significantly increase the level of domestic art education in the art of sculpture. The author believes that a comprehensive scientific analysis of the educational potential of the Kazakhstani aesthetic originality of modern sculpture, its history and technical and technological features will give a possibility to understand deeply and see the big picture of the art education role in the general socio-cultural canvas of sovereign Kazakhstan. At the moment, the Kazakhstani art education system is on a peripeteia and it is necessary to clear the choice between academic and contemporary art practices or their harmonious synthesis. This work is devoted to these question’s analysis and the author's research work disclosure.

The research had taken the concept of urban agriculture as one of the concepts that appeared within the sustainable trends in the city, and because of limited green areas, popular growth, and ongoing neglect to the urban landscape in cities. Moreover, in order to get the essential role of urban agriculture in the city, it requested the need for research in this concept. Therefore, the research problem appeared, as a knowledge need to explore the urban agriculture concept and its applying ability in order to avoid ongoing neglecting of urban landscape in the city.In order to solve the research problem, a previous literature review had been at the origin of the concept, reached to the most important vocabulary and indicators related to the special properties and the multi-use activity of the urban agriculture spaces of the city. Then the research examined the hypotheses, by a destructive and analytic study for urban agriculture projects. The results showed the connection of achieving urban agriculture within city landscape, by the contextual linking as the main characteristics, also the social and cultural uses as the most important use achieved by the presence of urban agriculture in the city landscape. Finally it had been reached to a theoretical model for urban agriculture in the city landscape.Key Words: Urban Agriculture, Landscape, spatial properties, multi-uses.

Critical thinking in writing for learners is needed to able to build a sense of crisis towards any issues. This capacity is required to create a framework based on reflecting, exploring, and solving some practical problems in their learning, work, and daily lives. This article aims to enhance critical writing towards undergraduate students in conducting research. The research method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data used to analyze is gotten from many research articles in international journals discussing critical writing to conduct a research proposal. The research discussion and result state that learners’ capacity to be familiar with critical thinking writing is essential. It deals with brainstorming the problems of research topics, reflecting, and exploring the issues of research topics. Students should also have the capacity to write the research background, research problem, review of related literature, and research method based on the guidelines of the research proposal. The writing skill relating to the competence of organization, elaborating content, paying attention mechanics, language use, and vocabulary become the leading and supporting capital to be successful in conducting the research proposal.

The author discusses methods used in other social sciences and in marketing in terms of two key criteria defining “good research.” It is argued that the simultaneous research desiderata of data integrity and high currency or generalizability often place conflicting operational demands on researchers. Thus, tradeoffs must be made in employing any method to investigate a research problem. As a consequence of these inevitable tradeoffs, a broader rather than narrower method set becomes appropriate for marketing investigations. Case research is explored as one useful alternative research method for marketers. The nature of case research in contrast to case teaching or prescientific case culling is discussed, the appropriateness of case-based versus more conventional deductive methods is considered by researcher objective and type of problem investigated, and a four-stage case research process is described. General guidelines and caveats for the conduct of marketing case research are given. The author concludes that case research may be viewed as a metaphor for the general utility of the varied inductive research methods in expanding our perspectives on marketing research problems.
