The aim of this study is to improve a measurement tool to evaluate the self-efficacy of Electrical-Electronics Engineering students through their basic electronics skills. The sample group is composed of 124 Electrical-Electronics engineering students. The validity of the scale is analyzed with two different methods through factor analysis and distinctiveness. To evaluate the how much each item that exists in the scale can measure the factor they belong to, item total factor correlations and corrected correlations are calculated on the data. According to the acquired values, each item and each factor in the scale are found to serve to the run-of the scale and the aim of scaling the desired facility, in a meaningful level. Moreover, analyzing the t value related to the differences between the groups of top 27% and bottom 27%, the item distinctiveness’s are researched and it is detected that the distinctiveness of both of the run-of the scale and each one of the items is high level; in other words, it is detected that each item is distinctive in the desired level. The internal consistency coefficients of the scale is calculated using two congruent halves correlations, Cronbach Alpha, Sperman-Brown formula and Guttmann split-half reliability formula. Consequently, it is concluded that the scale is a reliable and valid scale and this scale can be used to determine the basic electronics skills of the Electrical-Electronics Engineering students through their self-perceptions.

Purpose: The aim of this study to test the reliability and validity of “Leisure Facilitator Scale” (LFS) for Turkish university students. Material: The sample included 111 female and 132 male, and totally 243 faculty of sport sciences’ students for this study. The LFS which was consists of 3 subscales and 27 items was used to collect data. Besides descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis was applied to test the factor structure of LFS. Pearson’s product-moment coefficients were used to examine correlations between the factors. For determining the reliability of the scale Cronbach Alpha coefficient was calculated. Results: Analysis indicated that the Turkish version of the LFS constituted of 3 subscales and 16 items. Totally 11 items were excluded from the Turkish version because of lower factor loadings. Factor loading values of the items ranged between 0.49 and 0.76. Cronbach Alpha values were calculated as 0.79, 0.66, 0.78 and 0.86 for the subscales and total scale respectively. Conclusions: In conclusion, results indicated that “Leisure Facilitator Scale” Turkish adapted form can be used as a valid and reliable measurement tool to examine the factors that facilitate leisurely participation of students.

It is aimed to develop a measurement tool which is a basic motor movement, social skill, attitude observation and evaluation scale for Basic Movement Education. In the study, the natural observation from qualitative research methods is used. The scale outline with 40 items is formed as a result of literature review and negotiations. To determine the content validity of the scale draft, the opinions of six field experts (lecturers), two preschool teachers, two physical education (PE) teachers, and two language experts were analyzed using the Lashwe technique. By analyzing the experts’ opinions according to Lashwe technique, four items are removed since their content validity rate (CVR) assets are less than 0.75. CVR shows that the scale provides 4-point Likert-type construct validity and consists of two subdimensions with 36 items (the basic motor movement skill dimension is 16 items and social skill dimension is 20 items). Total points of the Spearman correlation coefficient are checked among the observers. While the correlation coefficient of the basic motor movement skill dimension is .71 ( p = .000), the correlation coefficient of social skill dimension is .82 ( p = .002). The correlation coefficient among the total points is more than .70, and the results ( p < .01) are meaningful. This shows that the measurement tool is reliable, and the scale provides reliability with 4-point Likert-type gradation.

The aim of this study is to build a measurement tool to survey the aesthetical development of the social network “Instagram” on women and to define its psychometrical qualities. The research is a descriptive and quantitative study designed with a screening model. This Aesthetic Perception Scale is based on a proper literature survey and expert opinions. Purposive and criterion sampling methods were used while determining the sampling of the study.716 women studying in the cities of Ağrı, Erzurum, İstanbul and İzmir were involved in the study. The data were collected via scale, which was developed by the researcher. Explanatory factor analysis was conducted within the research in order to present proves for the findings of the measurement tool. A scale of three factors and 36 items was developed at the end of the research. In order to present proof for the reliability of the data collected by the scale; Cronbach Alpha (α) reliability co-efficients were calculated. As a result, it is found that the scale is a valid and reliable tool of measurement in its field. Therefore; this respective measurement tool is recommended to be used while defining the aesthetical perceptions of women.

Objective: According to the family systems theory, triangulation is defined as reflecting and conveying the tension between two individuals to a third individual to reduce the existing tension, stress, and anxiety. This study was conducted to adapt the “Triangular Relationship Inventory” to Turkish and to assess psychometric properties. Method: The sample of the study included 337 individuals (234 women and 103 men) aged between 18 and 25 years. The structure validity of the inventory was evaluated with the confirmatory factor analysis and reliability was evaluated with Chronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient, test–retest method, and item analyses. Results: The result showed that the Turkish form of the Triangular Relationship Inventory showed similar psychometric properties to the original inventory. The structure which consists of the balanced, mediator, cross-generational coalition, and scapegoat subdimensions of 24 items displayed acceptable goodness-of-fit values in the Turkish sample with the 0.91 Cronbach's alpha coefficient while the reliability values of the subdimensions changed between 0.86 and 0.91. Considering the convergent validity of the inventory, there was a negative correlation between the triangular relationship and satisfaction with life and the differentiation of self, and a significant positive correlation with depression, anxiety, and stress. Conclusion: The psychometric properties revealed in this study show that the Turkish form of the Triangular Relationship Inventory is a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to measure the triangulation levels and roles of the individuals, who are in the Turkish sample and between the ages of 18 and 25 years, within the family system.
