The subject is the study of the dynamics of probability distribution of the states of the semi-Markov system during the transition process before establishing a stationary distribution. The goal is to develop a technology for finding analytical relationships that describe the dynamics of the probabilities of states of a semi-Markov system. The task is to develop a mathematical model that adequately describes the dynamics of the probabilities of the states of the system. The initial data for solving the problem is a matrix of conditional distribution laws of the random duration of the system's stay in each of its possible states before the transition to some other state. Method. The traditional method for analyzing semi-Markov systems is limited to obtaining a stationary distribution of the probabilities of its states, which does not solve the problem. A well-known approach to solving this problem is based on the formation and solution of a system of integral equations. However, in the general case, for arbitrary laws of distribution of the durations of the stay of the system in its possible states, this approach is not realizable. The desired result can only be obtained numerically, which does not satisfy the needs of practice. To obtain the required analytical relationships, the Erlang approximation of the original distribution laws is used. This technique significantly increases the adequacy of the resulting mathematical models of the functioning of the system, since it allows one to move away from overly obligatory exponential descriptions of the original distribution laws. The formal basis of the proposed method for constructing a model of the dynamics of state probabilities is the Kolmogorov system of differential equations for the desired probabilities. The solution of the system of equations is achieved using the Laplace transform, which is easily performed for Erlang distributions of arbitrary order. Results. Analytical relations are obtained that specify the desired distribution of the probabilities of the states of the system at any moment of time. The method is based on the approximation of the distribution laws for the durations of the stay of the system in each of its possible states by Erlang distributions of the proper order. A fundamental motivating factor for choosing distributions of this type for approximation is the ease of their use to obtain adequate models of the functioning of probabilistic systems. Conclusions. A solution is given to the problem of analyzing a semi-Markov system for a specific particular case, when the initial distribution laws for the duration of its sojourn in possible states are approximated by second-order Erlang distributions. Analytical relations are obtained for calculating the probability distribution at any time.

The article focuses on attempt to optimize two well-known Markov systems of queueing: a multichannel queueing system with finite storage, and a multichannel queueing system with limited queue time. In the Markov queuing systems, the intensity of the input stream of requests (requirements, calls, customers, demands) is subject to the Poisson law of the probability distribution of the number of applications in the stream; the intensity of service, as well as the intensity of leaving the application queue is subject to exponential distribution. In a Poisson flow, the time intervals between requirements are subject to the exponential law of a continuous random variable. In the context of Markov queueing systems, there have been obtained significant results, which are expressed in the form of analytical dependencies. These dependencies are used for setting up and numerical solution of the problem stated. The probability of failure in service is taken as a task function; it should be minimized and depends on the intensity of input flow of requests, on the intensity of service, and on the intensity of requests leaving the queue. This, in turn, allows to calculate the maximum relative throughput of a given queuing system. The mentioned algorithm was realized in MATLAB system. The results obtained in the form of descriptive algorithms can be used for testing queueing model systems during peak (unchanged) loads.

AbstractAssessment of several noise indicators are determined by the logarithmic mean <img src="/fulltext-image.asp?format=htmlnonpaginated&src=P42524002G141TV8_html\05_paper.gif" alt=""/>, from the sum of independent random resultsL1;L2; : : : ;Lnof the sound level, being under testing. The estimation of uncertainty of such averaging requires knowledge of probability distribution of the function form of their calculations. The developed solution, leading to the recurrent determination of the probability distribution function for the estimation of the mean value of noise levels and its variance, is shown in this paper.

This article assesses the wind speed data and wind energy potential in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan. In article it is stated a principle construction "hybrid" a source of the electric power consisting from wind power installation with mechanical store of energy, the solar panel with аккумулятор in common working with an electric network. The speed and direction of the wind measured at a height of 10 m were analyzed by the Weibull probability distribution functionTo determine the direction of wind flow (wind rose), a graph in Matlab environment was constructed. The method of an estimation energy of efficiency of the objects eating from several energy sources is offered. It is proved efficiency of application of such source of the electric power low power consumers

Hemoglobin level is a continuous variable. So, it follows some theoretical probability distribution Normal, Log-normal, Gamma and Weibull distribution having two parameters. There is low variation in observed and expected frequency of Normal distribution in bar diagram. Similarly, calculated value of chi-square test (goodness of fit) is observed which is lower in Normal distribution. Furthermore, plot of PDFof Normal distribution covers larger area of histogram than all of other distribution. Hence Normal distribution is the best fit to predict the hemoglobin level in future.

The article describes a method for reliability (probability of non-failure) analysis of structural elements based on p-boxes. An algorithm for constructing two p-blocks is shown. First p-box is used in the absence of information about the probability distribution shape of a random variable. Second p-box is used for a certain probability distribution function but with inaccurate (interval) function parameters. The algorithm for reliability analysis is presented on a numerical example of the reliability analysis for a flexural wooden beam by wood strength criterion. The result of the reliability analysis is an interval of the non-failure probability boundaries. Recommendations are given for narrowing the reliability boundaries which can reduce epistemic uncertainty. On the basis of the proposed approach, particular methods for reliability analysis for any structural elements can be developed. Design equations are given for a comprehensive assessment of the structural element reliability as a system taking into account all the criteria of limit states.
