Abstract OBJECTIVE To develop and validate an educational technology venous ulcers care. METHOD Methodological study conducted in five steps: Situational diagnosis; literature review; development of texts, illustrations and layout; apparent and content validity by the Content Validity Index, assessment of Flesch Readability Index; and pilot testing. RESULTS The developed technology was a type of booklet entitled Booklet for Venous Ulcers Care, consisting of seven topics: Diet and food intake, walking and light exercise, resting with elevated leg, bandage care, compression therapy, family support, and keeping healthy habits. The apparent validity revealed minimal agreement of 85.7% in the clarity and comprehensibility. The total content validity index was 0.97, the Flesch Readability Index was 75%, corresponding to the reading "fairly easy". The pilot test showed that 100% of people with venous ulcers evaluated the text and the illustrations as understandable, as appropriate. CONCLUSION The educational technology proved to be valid for the appearance and content with potential for use in clinical practice.

ABSTRACT Objective: produce and validate an educational technology in the form of video for people and families who experience colostomy and cancer. Method: educational technology development study conducted in two phases: production and validation of audiovisual technology, which includes the stages of construction and validation of the script, video production and audio-visual validation. Twelve people participated in the validation, being seven expert judges and two families (five people). The appearance and content were validated by Content Validity Index greater than or equal to 0.70% (IVC ≥0.7) and interview. Results: the script content has been validated by the expert judges, with a Global Content Validity Index equal to 0.99 and by the target audience with a Global Content Validity Index of 1. The validation of audio-visual content obtained a Global Content Validity Index equal to 0.99. Conclusion: the validated audiovisual educational technology represents a resource enhancement for the educational practices of nursing in the care of people with stoma and their families.

ABSTRACT Objective: to validate the content of a Standard Operational Procedure, regarding nursing interventions in emergency patients treated with vasoactive drugs. Method: methodological study, carried out from December 2015 to January 2016. Content validity was determined by 16 experts (13 nurses, 2 pharmacists and one biomedical scientist), who judged it through a four-point Likert scale. The items were evaluated in terms of: feasibility, objectivity, simplicity, clearness, pertinence and accuracy. The Content Validity Index was applied, accepting the value ≥ 0.90. Results: two rounds of evaluation were required to achieve the minimum index. The items were reviewed regarding writing, dilution, indication and replacement interval. The instrument was validated with 33 items and with total Content Validity Index of 0.99. Conclusion: the instrument was considered appropriate, fractionally and globally, for nursing care for the patient treated with vasoactive drugs in emergency, in a safe and reliable way.

ABSTRACT Objective: to validate a booklet on dengue prevention in order to make it an educational technology to be used with the population. Method: methodological study, carried out with two groups of judges specialized in health and other areas. For data analysis, the calculation of Content Validity Index was carried out. Results: the booklet, in general, was considered valid by the expert judges, since it obtained an overall CVI of 70%. However, it has undergone a textual and aesthetic re-elaboration. The changes were based on the substitution of expressions, phrases, information additions and language adequacy. The illustrations were redone, adding clarity, expressiveness, movement, interaction and contextualization. Conclusion: the booklet is valid to be used for the population, with the purpose of informing, in a playful way, the forms of prevention and combat to mosquito transmitting dengue.

Descritores: Cuidadores; Criança; HIV; Tecnologia; Educação em Saúde; Sorodiagnóstico da AIDS.ABSTRACT Objective: to construct an educational technology for caregivers of children with HIV / AIDS. ABSTRACT Objectives: to build and validate three clinical simulation scenarios and report the application with candidates for the specialist’s degree in stomatherapy. Methods: methodological study, building three scenarios and evaluation checklists; content validation with judges, using content validity index and Modified Kappa Coefficient; pre-test and application. Results: scenarios built based on nursing care for: 1. insufficiency and venous ulcer; 2. demarcation of intestinal stomia; and 3. Clean intermittent catheterization. In the content validation of the 24 items appreciated, 83%, 80%, and 92% were validated without change. In the pre-test, the objectives and checklists were adjusted. In the application, to standardize the evaluation, actors and evaluators were trained previously, and each candidate passed the three stations. Conclusions: scenarios built and with validated content, based on evidence and covering the three areas of stomatherapy. The pre-test allowed for adjustments in the scenarios, and the candidates achieved the expected objectives.
