The study aims to uncover the influence of classroom technologies (i.e. a variety of audio-visual and online equipment) on an individual’s (i.e. student’s) learning attitude. The antecedents that were considered relevant in the early post implementation phase were: (1) experience with Information and Communication Technologies, (2) enhanced communications, (3) learner independence and (4) ease of technology use. The original concept for the research was derived from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which has been a source of numerous studies exploring user attitude towards technology. The outcome indicated a positive and significant relationship between learner independence and individual learner attitude; enhanced communications and individual learner attitude and ease of technology use and individual learner attitude. However the relationship between ICTs experience and individual learner attitude was non-significant. The study outcome implicated that use of classroom technologies, in the introduction stage, does increase with the degree of perceived and encountered ease of use and extended capacity for self-directed learning.

An extended version of the technology acceptance model (TAM) is applied to study hospital Web sites, one specific area of e-health. In a review of literature, five significant factors from TAM research are identified that are logically related to e-health sites from the user’s perspective: usefulness, ease of use, trust, privacy, and personalization. All five factors emerged in the data analysis of 30 participants using a hospital Web site. We discuss the implications of this study for guiding development of effective patient-centered e-health.

The use of information and communication technology (ICT) has become progressively widespread in various sectors including agriculture. This study investigated the barriers to the diffusion of ICT in agricultural extension. Further, the study examined the effect of barriers toward ICT acceptance in agricultural extension. A paper and pencil survey by mail was conducted to collect data from 355 respondents in the Greater Surakarta Region, Indonesia. The study discovered that individual barriers, cultural barriers, government policy barriers, support and technological barriers significantly influenced the acceptance of ICT. In line with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), these variables influenced perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived intention to use of ICT. The findings suggested the methods that could be adopted by governments and non-government bodies to overcome the barriers in ICT implementation.

In the era of Industry 4.0, the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is vital in agricultural extension. However, there are still variations in the use and adoption of ICTs at the farmer levels as not every region can optimize the use of ICT in agricultural extension. This study aims to identify the diversity of access to ICT by farmers, and identify farmers' perceptions of the use of ICT. This study used a survey method with quantitative descriptive data analysis, distributed to 73 sample respondents. The questionnaire was compiled using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory lens, using two aspects in analyzing technology acceptance: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The results showed that the use of smartphones by farmers was high with access ownership above 60%. ICT is well accepted by respondents compared to conventional media. There is a significant relationship between the education level of farmers and perceived ease of use, with a correlation coefficient of .322. It can be concluded that smartphones have considerable potential to be used in agricultural extension, and there is a need of strategy to improve the ease of use of smartphones for farmers with low education level.

The revolutionary developments in information and communication technologies have drastically changed the way we communicate in our personal as well as professional life. Traditionally email was considered as formal mean of communication in organisations but now a days its common to use social networking apps for official communication. WhatsApp in this regard have so much importance as it is being used in various industries because of its security, immediacy, and easy to use features. This paper studies the role of technology acceptance model (TAM) on adoption of WhatsApp for official communication and information sharing. The sample was collected from 328 respondents from 10 Malaysian universities using survey technique. The data was analysed using SMART-PLS. The findings of the research confirm that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are the key constructs for adoption of WhatsApp as channel for official communication. Furthermore, the limitations and future directions of the study are also recommended.

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become an integral part of people’s life today. Various kinds of business and trade transactions have changed along with the advancement of ICT. One of the sectors that are influenced by the development in information and communication technology is banking. The presence of internet banking has brought more conveniences to the customers in conducting banking transactions anytime and anywhere. However, one of the challenges faced by banks in implementing online banking is the security factor. In addition, consumer satisfaction in conducting internet transactions can be influenced by factors of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) consists of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use and excellent service from the provider. The purpose of this study is to determine whether security, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service quality havepositive influence on internet banking consumer satisfaction. Thetype of research is explanatory research type. The research variables consisting of independent variables are security factor, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service quality; meanwhile dependent variable is internet banking consumer satisfaction. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling method combined with snowball sampling method. Datais collected through questionnaires and interviews. Methods of data analysis used is Multiple Regression Analysis. The result shows that variables of security, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service qualitysimultaneously influence internet banking consumer satisfaction. It shows that the four variables positively affect internet banking consumer satisfaction.

Building on the technology acceptance model (TAM), this study examines university student’s acceptance of information and communication technology (ICT) as a learning resource outside of the classroom. With the aim of looking more deeply into this subject, the study applied the technology acceptance model to recognize the effect of perceived usefulness on the student’s actual use of ICT with the existence of perceived usefulness as a moderator variable. Data were collected from 376 students from Duhok Polytechnic University in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq using a questionnaire survey consisting of 15 items developed based on the related literature. The results support that both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are key determinants of student’s actual use of ICT as a learning resource, and the relationship between perceived ease of use and actual use is moderated by perceived usefulness. Based on the findings, conclusions, implications, limitations, and an outlook for future studies were made. The originality of this study stems from the use of perceived usefulness as a moderator on the relationship between perceived ease of use and actual use of ICT among university students.

Tech-friendliness in this new era is an important quotient considered and the persons’ acceptance towards the technology frequency matters a lot. But still the frequency varies from person to person, this brought in the concept of Technology Acceptance Model given by Fred Davis in 1989. The theory of TAM is based on two theories that are Theory of Reasoned Action and Theory of Planned Behavior, TAM is extended version of these two. Green Banking is a new technology introduced by the banks that focuses on the growth of Sustainable development and Banking system too. Thus, banks ask their customers to use it or practice it in their daily life transactions. But every customer has their own point of view on the usage of Green banking. Thus, the research aims to understand the customers’ perception towards the Green Banking for this TAM is used. The research states that Perceived risk is the primary factor that is followed by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that impacts the decision to use green banking. Thus, the behavioral intention results in actual use of green banking usage for which people are trying to accept the new technology. So, the banks have earned points for creating awareness among their customers but still they have to work hard and clarify their customers’ problems and vanish that hitch that is stopping them to use green banking easily.
