Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian dosis pupuk fosfor dan kalium serta interaksi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman talas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan 2 dan Laboratorium Fisiologi Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala Darussalam Banda Aceh dari bulan Februari sampai Agustus 2018. Unit-unit penelitian disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial 3x3 dengan 3 ulangan dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata terkecil taraf 5% pada hasil uji F yang signifikan. Adapun faktor yang diteliti adalah dosis pupuk fosfor 3 taraf  yaitu 100, 200 dan 300 kg SP36 ha-1 dan dosis kalium 3 taraf yaitu 200, 300, dan 400 kg KCl ha-1. Dosis fosfor berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun tanaman talas umur 2 dan 10 MST serta bobot umbi basah dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 2 MST, bobot berangkasan basah, dan jumlah umbi tanaman talas. Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman talas terbaik dijumpai pada dosis pupuk fosfor 200 kg ha-1.  Dosis kalium berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun tanaman umur 2 MST dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot berangkasan basah tanaman talas. Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman talas terbaik dijumpai pada dosis kalium 300 kg ha-1. Terdapat interaksi yang tidak nyata antara perlakuan dosis fosfor dan dosis kalium terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman talas.The Effect of Phosphorus and Potassium Fertilizer Doseson the Growth and Yield of Taro Plants (Colocasia esculenta L. <p><em>Cauliflower is one of the vegetables for consumers. The demand for cauliflower was rising so it must be scaled up with fertilizer. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of cauliflower. The study was conducted in Sukasenang Village, Banyuresmi Sub-district, Garut Regency from July to August 2019. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) in two factors each of the 3 rates with 2 replications. The first factor was the rates of chicken manure which consisted of 0, 10 and 20 tons ha<sup>-1</sup>; the second factor was NPK fertilizer which consists of 0, 100 and 200 kg ha<sup>-1</sup>. The parameter of this research was plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, weight and diameter crud. The results showed that there was no interaction between the chicken manure and NPK fertilizer. The treatment of 20 tons ha<sup>-1</sup> chicken manure affected the variable plant height, the number of leaves and leaf area. The rates of 200 kg ha<sup>-1</sup> NPK fertilizer had affected plant height, number of leaves, weight and diameter crud.</em></p>

Growth of FHIA-17 Banana Seedlings with the Application of Hijauan Paitan Fertilizer (Titonia Diversifolia) and Cow Manure. The aim of this study was to obtain data on the growth of FHIA-17 banana seedlings after application of T.diversifolia forage and cow manure. Using a factorial Randomized Block Design (CRD) with two treatment factors. The first factor is the forage dose of T. diversifolia (P) with 5 levels, P0=Control; P1=12.5 g kg-1 planting medium (equivalent to 5 tons ha-1); P2=25 g kg-1 planting medium (equivalent to 10 tons ha-1); P3=37.5 g / kg of planting media (equivalent to 15 tons ha-1); P4=50 g kg-1 of growing media (equivalent to 20 tons ha-1). The second factor is the dose of cow manure (K) with 5 treatment levels namely, K0=Control; P1=12.5 g kg-1 of growing media (equivalent to 5 tons ha-1); K2=25 g kg-1 of growing media (equivalent to 10 tons ha-1); K3= 37.5 g kg-1 of growing media (equivalent to 15 tons ha-1); K4=50 g kg-1 planting medium (equivalent to 20 tons ha-1 and repeated 2 (two) times. Observed parameters were plant height (cm), number of leaves, stem circumference (mm), plant wet weight (g), plant dry weight (g). The results of this study indicate that the application of forage T. diversifolia significantly affected plant height and number of leaves. It’s not real with respect to all observational parameters.

Demand for shallots continues to increase due to increasing population and consumption of mera onions. This research was carried out in jingglong village, Sutojayan sub-district, Blitar district in April - June 2018. This research was conducted using factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors, the first factor was immersion in coconut water (k) which consisted of 3 levels namely immersion for 1 hour (k1) soaking for 2 hours (k2) soaking for 3 hours (k3). The second factor is various media (m) consisting of 3 levels: soil 1: fertilizer 1: husk ash 1 (m1), soil 2: fertilizer 1: husk ash 1 (m2), soil 1: fertilizer 2: husk ash 1 ( m3) The variables observed included plant height, number of shoots, number of leaves, weight of tuber stover, wet weight of tubers, dry weight of tubers. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) level of 5% and further testing with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). There is no real interaction between coconut water immersion and various planting media on the growth and yield of shallots. The treatment of coconut water immersion (k) significantly affected the height of shallot plants at the age of 14 days and 21 days, and affected the number of shoots and leaves at all ages of observation. The treatment of various planting media showed a significant difference at the age of 14 days to 21 days. The treatment of various planting media had a significant effect on the weight of stover and the wet weight of onion tubers with the highest yield (m1) of 122.03 gr, while in the wet weight the highest yield was on media (m1) with a yield of 80.51 gr.

This study aims to examine the effect of concentration of liquid organic fertilizer supermes on various spacing to the growth and yield of onion. The experiment was conducted in Dusun Telaga Kodok, Hitu Lama Village, Leihitu Barat District, Central Maluku District, from March to April 2017. The experiment used was a Randomized Block Design with three replications. The concentration of liquid organic fertilizer supermes consists of: 0, 2, 4, 6 mL/L water. Plant ing distance consists of: 10 × 15 cm, 15 × 15 cm and 20 × 15 cm. Varieties used were varieties of Bima Brebes. Parameters measured were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, root length, wet weight and dry weight of tubers. During the experiment, rainfall and rainy days were quite high at the research location. This condition causes the crop to be harvested at 41 HST because it is attacked by ground caterpillar, mosaic disease and purple spots. The application of liquid organic fertilizer has not shown any significant effect to the growth and yield parameters of shallot crop. Planting distance of 15 × 15 cm shows the effect on plant height and number of leaves at 35 HST, tuber weight and tuber dry weight and there is a significant interaction on the leaf number at 35 HST with concentration of 4 mL/L water and Planting Distance 15 × 15 cm. Keywords: liquid organic fertilizer, planting distance, red onion   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk organik cair supermes pada berbagai jarak tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah. Paramater yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi, panjang akar, bobot basah dan bobot kering umbi. Selama percobaan berlangsung curah hujan dan hari hujan cukup tinggi terjadi di lokasi penelitian. Kondisi ini menyebabkan tanaman dipanen pada umur 41 HST karena diserang oleh hama ulat tanah, penyakit mozaik dan bercak ungu. Pemberian pupuk organik cair belum memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Jarak tanaman 15 × 15 cm berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun pada 35 HST, bobot basah umbi dan bobot kering umbi serta adanya interaksi perlakuan yang nyata terhadap jumlah daun pada umur 35 HST dengan konsentrasi 4 mL/L air dan jarak tanam 15 × 15 cm. Research on Application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Market Waste in Chinese Mustard Plants (Brasica juncea L.). The production of mustard greens in Ende Regency is still low compared to the production of mustard greens. This condition is caused by fertilization that has not been optimal. Efforts to increase mustard production through the application of technology, especially the use of fertilizers, including using liquid organic fertilizer Market waste that can provide nutrients for plants.This study aims to determine the application dose of liquid organic fertilizer from market waste and the response of growth and yield of mustard plants. The study was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Flores in Ende, using a Randomized Block Design consisting of five treatments using Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from Market Waste namely L0 (without POC), L1 (10 liters of POC), L2 (20 liters POC), L3 (30 liters of POC), L4 (40 liters of POC), repeated four times. The results showed that the application of POC from market waste significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of mustard greens, fresh weight of mustard ha-1 and dose of 40 liters ha-1 showed the best growth, which was an average plant height of 24.68 cm, number of leaves 9.25 strands, fresh weight of mustard 147.40 g and production of mustard 23.58 tons ha-1

Abstrak. Bawang merah adalah komoditas sayuran yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi, sebagai pemenuhan konsumsi nasional, sumber penghasilan petani, maupun potensinya sebagai penghasil devisa negara. Salah satu cara dalam meningkatkan produksi bawang merah yaitu mengembangkan beberapa varietas bawang merah dataran tinggi serta pengaturan jarak tanam yang sesuai di dataran rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil beberapa varietas bawang merah dataran tinggi akibat jarak tanam yang berbeda di dataran rendah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan dan Laboratorium Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh pada bulan April sampai dengan Juni 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial 4 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu varietas bawang merah terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu Lokal Gayo, Tajuk, Batu Ijo, dan Brebes dan jarak tanam yang terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu 20 cm x 15 cm, 20 cm x 20 cm, dan 20 cm x 25 cm. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji F, dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah pada semua parameter yang diamati, pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik dijumpai pada varietas Batu Ijo. Perlakuan jarak tanam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 15, 30, dan 45 HST, diameter umbi, bobot berangkasan basah, bobot basah umbi, bobot berangkasan kering serta bobot kering umbi, pertumbuhan dan dan hasil terbaik diperoleh pada jarak tanam 20 cm x 25 cm. Terdapat interaksi yang sangat nyata antara jarak tanam dengan varietas terhadap bobot berangkasan basah, bobot basah umbi, bobot berangkasan kering serta bobot kering umbi dan nyata terhadap jumlah anakan per rumpun, pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik dijumpai pada kombinasi varietas Batu Ijo dengan jarak tanam 20 cm x 25 cm.Growth and Yeild of some high-altitude shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) varieties due to different spacing in the lowlandsAbstract. Shallots are vegetable commodities that have high economic value, as a fulfillment of national consumption, farmers' sources of income, as well as their potential as foreign exchange earners. One way to increase the production of shallots is to develop a number of high-altitude shallots as well as to adjust the spacing that is suitable in the lowlands. This study aims to determine the growth and yield of some highland shallots due to different spacing in the lowlands. This research was conducted at Experiment Garden 2 East Sector and Horticulture Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah University Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh from April to June 2018. This study used a Randomized Block Design 4 x 3 factorial pattern with 3 replications. Factors studied were red onion varieties consisting of 4 levels namely Local Gayo, Tajuk, Batu Ijo, and Brebes spacing consisting of three levels, namely 20 cm x 15 cm, 20 cm x 20 cm, and 20 cm x 25 cm. The data obtained were analyzed using F test, followed by BNJ test at the level of 5%. The results showed that varieties had a very significant effect on the growth and yield of onion plants on all parameters observed. The treatment of plant spacing has a very significant effect on plant height at the age of 15, 30, and 45 day after planting, diameter of tubers, weight of wet seedlings, wet weight of tubers, dry weight and weight of tubers. There is a very real interaction between plant spacing with varieties on wet-weighted, wet weight of tubers, dry-weighted weight and dry weight of tubers. There is a real interaction with the number of tillers per clump.

        Peanut plants are the second most important leguminous plants after soybeans in Indonesia. The growth and yield of peanut plants on podsolic land are not good, the problem of podsolic soil is acidic soil reaction, high Al content, low nutrient content, so it needs liming and fertilization and good management so that the soil becomes productive and not damaged. Biofertilizer is an alternative use of fertilizer. This research was carried out on podsolic land in Banua Tinggal Village, Labuan Amas Selatan District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, which began from April to July 2017. The study aimed to (i) determine the response of growth and yield of peanuts to the provision of biological fertilizers on podsolic land and ) get the best dosage of biofertilizer for growth and yield of peanuts on podsolic fields. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four treatments and six groups so that there were 24 experimental units. Provision of biological fertilizer is (h0) 0 t.ha-1 = 0 kg. plot-1, (h1) 50 t.ha-1 = 7.5 kg.plot-1, (h2) 70 t.ha-1 = 10.5 kg.plot-1, (h3) 90 t.ha-1 = 13.5 kg.plot-1. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, age stem diameter at flowering, number of plant pods, wet weight of plant pods, and weight of 100 dry seeds. The results showed that the administration of biofertilizer affected the growth and yield of peanut plants and treatment (h3) 90 t.ha-1 = 13.5 kg.plot-1 was the best treatment for the growth and yield of peanut plants.

Plant Spacing and the Number of Seeds per Planting hole is one of the factors that affect plant growth and yield. therefore. the study entitled The Effect of Planting Distance and Number of Perforated Planting Seeds on Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn (Zea mays Saacaratha L.) Bonanza F1 in Wairkoja Village, Kewapante District, Sikka Regency, has been carried out. This study uses a randomized block design (RCBD), which consists of two (2) factors, namely, spacing (J) and the number of seeds per planting hole (W) as follows J1: Length 50 cm x Width 25 cm. These two factors are combined to obtain nine treatment combinations. The observed variables were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), wet weight of trees, N, P, K pH, and C-organic soil. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the treatment of spacing did not affect the growth and production of corn, the number of seeds did not affect the number of leaves and the combined treatment of the number of seeds and spacing did not affect the wet weight of the fruit.

The decline in productivity of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) is one of the horticultural crops that are consumed by many Indonesian people, therefore it is necessary to provide potassium elements on the onion crop. Where potassium in plants is very important, it plays a role as a factor in the enzymes in the process of plant metabolism, stomata regulation, and CO assimilation. Meanwhile, if the lack of potassium causes small tubers so that production decreases. This study aims to determine the response of growth and yield of onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) to several varieties and dosages of KCL fertilizer. This research was conducted in the experimental area of the Faculty of Science and Technology of Labuhabatu University, South Rantau District with a height of 13 meters above sea level. The materials used in this study were Sumenep and Maja Cipanas Shallot Seed Varieties, Urea Fertilizer, TSP and KCl. The tools used in this study are the Global Positioning System (GPS), hoe, fat, meter, sample traces, scales, ovens and stationery that support this research. This research uses factorial randomized block design with 2 factors and 3 replications, namely: Factor 1: V1 = Variety of Sumenep and V2 = Maja Cipanas and Factor 2 of fertilizer dose P0 ,, Control, P1 = 50 gram / plot, P2 = 100 gram / plot, P3 = 150 gram / plot). The parameters observed were sample wet weight, plot dry weight, and the number of plot production. Research Results Showing the dosage treatment gave an effect on the growth and production of shallots with the best dose of 150 grams/plot. An interaction occurred between KCL fertilizer dosage and onion varieties on plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, wet weight, number of production and dry weight of onion plants. Keywords: Shallot, KCL Fertilizer, Production Results, Rantau Selatan District

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kalium dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair limbah tahu, serta interaksi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Juli 2018 di Kebun Percobaan 2 dan Laboratorium Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu dosis pupuk kalium yang terdiri dari 3 taraf (75, 100 dan 125 kg ha-1) dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair limbah tahu yang juga terdiri  3 dari taraf (40, 60 dan 80%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian dosis pupuk kalium berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun pada umur 30 dan 40 HST, diameter umbi, bobot berangkasan basah, bobot basah umbi, bobot berangkasan kering, bobot kering umbi dan potensi hasil serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 40 HST. Pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah terbaik dijumpai pada dosis pupuk kalium 100 kg ha-1 dan diameter umbi bawang merah terbaik dijumpai pada dosis pupuk kalium 125 kg ha-1. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi pupuk organik cair limbah tahu berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter diameter umbi dan potensi hasil bawang merah. Hasil bawang merah terbaik dijumpai pada konsentrasi 60%. Terdapat interaksi yang sangat nyata terhadap diameter umbi dan interaksi yang nyata terhadap potensi hasil bawang merah. Diameter umbi bawang merah terbaik dijumpai pada kombinasi dosis pupuk kalium 125 kg ha-1 dengan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair limbah tahu 60% dan potensi hasil bawang merah terbaik dijumpai pada kombinasi dosis pupuk kalium 100 kg ha-1 dengan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair limbah tahu 60%. Response of Shallot Growth and Yield due to Potassium Fertilizer Dosage and Concentration of Tofu Waste Organic Liquid FertilizerAbstract. This study aims to determine the effect of potassium fertilizer dosage and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer made by tofu waste, and the interaction of both on the growth and yield of shallot. This research was conducted from May to July 2018 in Experiment Field 2 and Horticulture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University. The design used was a Randomized Factorial Block Design 3 x 3 with 3 replications. The factors observed were potassium fertilizer dosages consisted of 3 levels (75, 100 and 125 kg ha-1) and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer tofu waste which also consisted of 3 levels (40, 60 and 80%). The results was showed the application of potassium fertilizer very significantly affected plant height at age of 40 DAP, number of leaves at age 30 and 40 DAP, tuber diameter, fresh clump weight, fresh tuber weight, dry clump weight, dry tuber weight and potential yield. The best growth and yield of shallot is found at potassium fertilizer dosage of 100 kg ha-1 and the largest shallot tuber diameter is found at potassium fertilizer dosage of 125 kg ha-1. The result also showed that the concentration of tofu waste organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the parameters of tuber diameter and the potential yield of shallot. The best result of shallot is found at the concentration of 60%. There was a real interaction with tuber diameter and the potential shallot yield. The largest diameter of shallot tuber is found in the combination of potassiumfertilizer  dosage of 125 kg ha-1 with the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer tofu waste 60% and the highest potential shallot yield is found in the combination of potassium fertilizer dosage of 100 kg ha-1 with the concentration of tofu waste organic liquid fertilizer 60%.
