In the article the practical aspect of application of principles of biological immune system for solving the problem of analysis and classification of email is viewed. In the capacity of analyzed emails ordinary emails (electronic mail) and mails from closed systems (electronic document flow or business management systems) were taken. In the article two-classification artificial immune system was developed with further comparison of effectiveness of their usage with naive Bayesian classification algorithm. Practical realization of the developed system with the application in the system of analysis of emails of the commercial structure is carried out.

The accumulation of secretions in the airways of ventilator-dependent patients is a common problem, and if not detected and treated in due time, it greatly increases the risk of infections and asynchrony. Unfortunately, cardiogenic oscillation modifies the flow signal shape that can confuse clinical staff and modern lung ventilators. In this article, the authors use an artificial immune system algorithm in a pre-processed flow signal. The authors' approach was able to automatically detect the presence or absence of airway secretions, even if the sample contains the influence of cardiogenic oscillation. The training and validation of the algorithm was carried out using a database containing flow signals of 457 respiratory cycles, obtained from three patients in different ventilation modes. The algorithm trained with 60% of the base cycles, was able to achieve specificity and sensitivity above 0.96 in the classification of the remaining cycles of the base.

This paper investigates multi-robot coordination for the deployment of autonomous mobile robots in order to carry out a specific task. A key to utilizing of the full potential of cooperative multi-robot systems is effective and efficient multi-robot coordination. The paper presents a novel method of multi-robot coordination based on an Artificial Immune System. The developed approach relies on Jern’s Immune Network Theory, which concerns how an antibody stimulates or suppresses another antibody and recognizes non-self antigens. In the present work, the robots are analogous to antibodies and the robotic task is analogous to an antigen in a biological immune system. Furthermore, stimulation and suppression in an immune system correspond to communication among robots. The artificial immune system will select the appropriate number of antibodies autonomously to eliminate the antigens. The developed method of multirobot coordination is verified by computer simulation.

This work presents a novel approach for monitoring the structural integrity of a dynamic rotor basead in a intelligent methodology combined with a mathematical transform, the Wavelet artificial immune system. The combination of the artificial immune system with the Wavelet transform generates an innovative tool to perform the identification, localization and classification of structural failures. Through this methodology, industrial machine designs are developed to meet these needs, reducing failures and anticipating errors found in operating machines. An emergingarea of machine designs are rotating machines also called dynamic rotors, which are applied to aircraft turbines, steam turbines for the production of electrical energy, turbo-compressors, among others. To validate this methodology, experimental data are collected, and from this, different situations (normal condition and fault conditions) are generated, obtaining a database of signals, which were analyzed by the proposed method. The results obtained by the Wavelet Artificial Immune System are efficient and robust.
