The purpose of this study is to determine the level of cost stickiness at SG&A cost (Sales, General, and Administrative) and test whether the level of stickiness costs can be reduced through audit quality. The study sample used property, real estate, and building construction industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2018 period with a purposive sampling technique, so that the final number of samples obtained was 117 sample observations. This study uses eviews version 10 analysis tool. The results of the study show that every 1% increase in net sales will increaseSG&Aby0.610%.Meanwhile,every1%decreaseinnetsaleswillreduceSG&A by (0.610043-0.071380) 0.538%. Furthermore, the research findings show that audit quality can reduce stickiness costs. The implication of this study is that policy makers can use audit quality to reduce stickiness costs.

ABSTRACT  The purpose of this research is to find the influence of growth opportunity and capital structure on firm value. The research objects used is property, real estate and building construction company which listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2011-2014. This research used a purposive sampling technique in determining the research sample. The number of companies chosen as the sample in 37 company of 54 companies registered in property, real estate and building construction sector. This research was included in the explanatory research using quantitative approach. Data analysis method used in this research is partial least square (PLS) analysis. The result showed that in directly growth opportunity and capital structure has a significant effect on firm value. Growth opportunity undirectly has significant effect on the firm value by means of capital structure. Growth opportunity has a positive and significant effect on capital structure and capital structure has a negative and significant effect on firm value.Keywords : Growth Opportunity, Capital Structure and Firm Value

Anton Robiansyah, Dwi Novita, Furqonti Ranidiah; This study aims to analyze the effect of audit quality and institutional ownership on the cost of debt. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2011-2014. The type of research used in this study is empirical research. The sampling technique used was purposive sample and selected 72 unit analysis companies. The data analysis tool in this test uses OLS (ordinary least square), which wants to see the effect of audit quality and institutional ownership on the cost of debt.Based on the results of this study indicate that audit quality has a negative effect on the cost of debt with a significance level of 0.014 which means that the company that chooses the BIG4 KAP has a good reputation and this is seen as a positive thing for the creditor. Whereas institutional ownership does not affect the cost of debt with a significance level of 0.847 indicating that the presence or absence of institutional ownership of companies - companies in Indonesia does not affect the institutional ownership relationship and the cost of debt.

This study aims to determine and test the factors that influence financial distress. The factors in this study are liquidity, profitability, activity, and sales growth. Financial distress is measured using the Springate method. Liquidity is measured using the formula Current Ratio (CR), Return On Assets (ROA) is used to measure profitability, Total Asset Turnover (TAT) is used to measure activity and Sales Growth is measured by sales per year. The population in this study was 73 property, real estate, and building construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period. Based on purposive sampling technique, 18 company samples were obtained that met the criteria for five years of observation with a total of 90 observational data. Data analysis techniques in this study used logistic regression analysis. The results showed that liquidity, profitability, and activities had a significant effect on financial distress, while sales growth had no effect on financial distress in property, real estate, and building construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period.

This study aims to determine the effect of the liquidity ratio (CR) on stock returns with the role of profitability (ROE) as a mediator. This study takes the object of building construction sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. The population in this research is all companies in the building construction sub sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2018 period as many as 17 companies. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling using several criteria, namely the building construction sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2018 period, companies that submit financial reports during the research period and companies that have positive net income reports. The number of samples that fit the criteria were 10 companies. The data analysis tool uses panel data regression analysis using Eviews 6. The results of the study show that the current ratio has a negative effect on stock returns, the current ratio has a positive effect on return on equity, return on equity has a negative effect on stock returns.

This research is aimed at determining the effect of profitability, growth opportunity, and capital structure on the value of company. The object of this research is companies in the sector of property, real estate and building construction registered in Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period of 2011-2014. This research is using purposive sampling technique in determining samples. There are 37 out of 54 registered in the sector of property, real estate and building construction companies selected as the samples. The data were analyzed using partial least square (PLS) analysis. The research showed that growth opportunity and capital structure have direct significant effect on the value of company, while the profitability has not affected the value of company. Growth opportunity indirectly has positive effect on the value of company through the capital structure. Growth opportunity has positive effect on the capital structure. Profitability has positive and significant effect on the capital structure while capital structure has negative effect on the value of company.Key Words : Growth Opportunity, Profitability, Capital Struture And Value Of Company.

The purpose of this study was to find empirical evidence on the effect of capital structure on the value of a business entity in accordance with the static trade-off theory. This study used a sample of enterprises in the property, real estate and building construction sector that are listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period of 2009-2012. The selection of the sample in this study using a non-probability sampling technique with the type of purposive judgment sampling. The samples used in this study are 160 during the years of observation. The method of analysis in this study is using quadratic regression. The findings in this study indicate that capital structure significantly influence the value of a business entity in accordance with the static tradeoff theory.

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of audit fees on audit quality, the effect of audit tenure on audit quality, the effect of audit rotation on audit quality, and the effect of auditor reputation on audit quality. The population of this study is property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2013-2017. The research sampling technique used purposive sampling. The research samples obtained were as many as 25 property and real estate companies in 2013-2017. The analytical method used is logistic regression analysis. The results based on partial hypothesis testing indicate that audit fees affect audit quality and audit tenure affect audit quality. This study aims to analyze Indonesian companies that present and disclose tax amnesty in their financial statements according to PSAK 70. The analysis is conducted on the characteristics of the companies, the choice of accounting policies for tax amnesty, the presentation of tax amnesty assets and liabilities, the effects of equity from tax amnesty, and the disclosure of the redemption money. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method by analyzing financial reports for the year 2016, which are downloaded from the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In 2016, 194 publicly listed companies participated in tax amnesty. The result shows that the highest participation comes from the property, real estate and building construction industry. The result also shows that 23 companies explicitly state their choice of accounting policies. In addition, 26 companies present tax amnesty assets and liabilities separately from other assets and liabilities, and 83 companies disclose the amount of redemption money.
