The aim of this research is to determine appropriate correction coefficient of production machine to be considered during the construction of pavement in Republic of Benin. Given that reliable construction project should be in accordance with appropriate services and workmanship, this research proposes a method to be followed for the choice of machines according to the nomenclature of all the tasks necessary for the construction of a pavement. Then, a method for determining the actual production of machinery to be used on the job site while listing some factors to consider in determining prices. Based on the maximum theoretical production of the machines used during construction works, this research shows that improving the soil’s performance depends on the quality and the machines’ performance. Additionally, the results show that, the machines’ theoretical productions must be corrected by appropriate factors linked to the conditions under which the works will be executed. Consequently, for a reassuring determination of the machines’ operating cost, this research proposes that the machines to be used will work under challenging conditions.

The goal is to develop recommendations on the optimal system for the formation of cost of production, since calculation methods currently existing at the enterprises of meat and dairy industry do not allow for a sufficiently accurate determination of the actual cost of individual types of products of a large assortment, which makes it difficult to assess its economic feasibility. In this regard, the tasks are set improving production cost management system and development in practice of new non-traditional mechanisms for obtaining information about the costs and results of production activities. Results – it is shown that one of the backbone sectors of economy is agriculture. Regardless of soil and climatic conditions, even developed industrial countries are investing heavily in the development of domestic agricultural sector. It is noted that the important aspect of the activity of agricultural entity is income generation and business activities. In this context, the application of new approaches to the methods of accounting, analysis and cost control will make it possible to manage production cost and solve the problems of effective functioning of meat and dairy production enterprises. The article discusses methods of calculation in meat and fat industry, issues of anchor cooperation with the involvement of investors. Conclusions – in production of meat and dairy products, a reasonable calculation of products costs plays a special role, which is important when checking the costs associated directly with its sale and provides an opportunity to expand access for all segments of the population.

AbstractThis study was designed to assess morphological changes between cultured and wild tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus (L.). Wild fish samples were obtained from fishermen operating in the waters of the vicinity of the province Parakou, Benin in November 2014, while the cultured samples were obtained from a fish farm in the municipality of Sô-Ava in the Atlantic region of the southern part of the Republic of Benin. Significant differences were observed in all nine morphometric traits measured. Discriminant analysis of morphometric parameters showed high divergence between the populations. The meristic count, however, overlapped broadly showing no divergence between the populations. The morphometric differences between the cultured and wild tilapia, O. niloticus, could have been linked to genetic differences or environmental factors or a combination of these.

Appropriate planning and effective monitoring of the execution of construction projects is important with regard to their successful sustainment of implementation. Time and cost are key elements that determine the success or failure of construction projects. The obtaining of a rational S-curve course before the start of a construction project that reflects reality is important for all the participants involved in implementing an investment task. The article proposes an original methodology for planning the course of the cumulative cost curve in construction projects. It uses a method of shaping the S-curve, which is well-known in both literature and practical approaches. On the basis of the authors’ own research carried out in a homogeneous research group of hotel facilities, the areas of the curve for the correct planning of costs in construction projects were designated, which determine the boundaries of the predicted costs accumulated over time. The data for the development of the authors’ research methodology is the result of the authors’ own experience and professional work. The authors carried out Bank Investment Supervision in the years 2006–2019 on behalf of the banks that grant investment loans for non-public contracts. Knowing the total cost and duration of the planned construction project, which were determined on the basis of project documentation, cost estimates, and also their own database regarding planned and completed deadlines and budgets of similar investments, 6th degree polynomials of the real costs of the construction works were determined. This approach enabled the correct planning of costs over time and the determination of planned monthly amounts of construction works to be executed.

In South Africa the modern outlook towards time may be said to have started in 1948. Both the two major observatories, The Royal Observatory in Cape Town and the Union Observatory (now known as the Republic Observatory) in Johannesburg had, of course, been involved in the astronomical determination of time almost from their inception, and the Johannesburg Observatory has been responsible for the official time of South Africa since 1908. However the pendulum clocks then in use could not be relied on to provide an accuracy better than about 1/10 second, which was of the same order as that of the astronomical observations. It is doubtful if much use was made of even this limited accuracy outside the two observatories, and although there may – occasionally have been a demand for more accurate time, it was certainly not voiced.

Hisab and rukyat is a way to know the turn of the month. This study shows several findings. First is the correlation between Kuraib traditions and differences in the determination of the beginning of Ramadan, Shawwal, and Dhul-Hijjah in Indonesia. Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has stated that Indonesia as a whole into a single jurisdiction (wilayatul hukmi). Second, on the success rukyat alhilal in one area that applied to other regions of earth. Important to know that the first visibility of the new moon does not cover the entire face of the earth on the same day, but splitting it into two parts: (1) part of the West to see the new moon, and (2) part of the East were not able to see the new moon.
