Recently the use of sensitive electronic devices has increased, and the quality of energy has become an important factor in electrical power systems, where disturbances occurring in the network (harmonics, swell, voltage sag, etc.) affect consumers and lead to technical-economic damages. One of the most prominent solutions to address energy quality problems is the UPQC (Unified Power Quality Conditioner). In this paper, the unified power quality conditioner used to improve the electrical power quality in the distribution networks was discussed, where the Park transformations are used to obtain the required reference signals, and also the use of adaptive hysteresis band to generate the electronic switch pulses in both serial and shunt switches, where the pulse width is determined by dependence on fuzzy logic. The studied system was validated by simulating different distortion cases and comparing the results when using the Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) to control the two switches. The results showed improvement in the electrical power quality through the use of an adaptive hysteresis band controller, and that appeared by reducing the total distortion factor (THD%), which resulted in improving the shape of both the voltage and current waveforms.

In this paper, we introduce an approach to increase density of field-effect transistors framework a injection-locked frequency divider. Framework the approach, we consider manufacturing the inverter in heterostructure with specific configuration. Several required areas of the heterostructure should be doped by diffusion or ion implantation. After that dopant and radiation defects should by annealed framework optimized scheme. We also consider an approach to decrease value of mismatch-induced stress in the considered heterostructure. We introduce an analytical approach to analyze mass and heat transport in heterostructures during manufacturing of integrated circuits with account mismatch-induced stress.

The aim of this research is to determine appropriate correction coefficient of production machine to be considered during the construction of pavement in Republic of Benin. Given that reliable construction project should be in accordance with appropriate services and workmanship, this research proposes a method to be followed for the choice of machines according to the nomenclature of all the tasks necessary for the construction of a pavement. Then, a method for determining the actual production of machinery to be used on the job site while listing some factors to consider in determining prices. Based on the maximum theoretical production of the machines used during construction works, this research shows that improving the soil’s performance depends on the quality and the machines’ performance. Additionally, the results show that, the machines’ theoretical productions must be corrected by appropriate factors linked to the conditions under which the works will be executed. Consequently, for a reassuring determination of the machines’ operating cost, this research proposes that the machines to be used will work under challenging conditions.

A new spectrophotometric method is described for determination of irbesartan, losartan and bisoprolol in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage forms using insitu generated bromine as oxidizing agent and rhodamine B as chromogenic agent. Drugs are treated with known excess of bromine and residual unreacted bromine is determined by treating with fixed amount of rhodamine B then measuring absorbance at 557nm. The amount of bromine reacted corresponds to the amount of each drug. Effect of acidity, bromate-bromide volume and reaction time, on the absorption were studied. Calibration curves were linear over ranges of and for irbesartan, losartan, and bisoprolol, respectively. The method was satisfactory applied for the determination of drugs in both bulk and pharmaceutical forms and results were compared statistically with reference methods.
