The article deals with the words Gesundheit/zdrowie and Krankheit/choroba as communicationally semanticized language units, which have been analyzed (among other words) in the framework of a broader study concerning collective symbolism in Germany and Poland. In the context of the current situation that is characterized by the COVID-19 pandemic, both issues appear prominently in communications, so their detailed analysis seems to be particularly interesting. How the semantics of this words is shaped from the perspective of respondents who are asked to characterize their meaning? Moreover, the question comes up if and how such topicalities are reflected in the outcomes (collected, however, just at the beginning of the pandemic), particularly in the semantic profiles. It turns out that an effect manifests itself, but it is only added to existing semantic constellations that have been stable over decades, without modifying them basically.

Based on the related current researches, this disquisition is focused on the problem of plastic debris in the Great Pacific Ocean Garbage Patch. From three aspects-the extent, density and distribution, this disquisition made a research on the current situation of the serious problem, and then put forward a quantitative model of the weight of plastic debris in the Pacifi Ocean Gyre. Besides, by limiting polystyrene takeout containers, we established an iterative model to predict the weight of plastic debris access to the sea per year in the future. After proving limiting polystyrene takeout containers could reduce the plastic debris effectively, we carry on a detailed analysis.

One of the main goals for sustainable development of a country is providing sustainable energy resources, which means satisfying the current needs for energy without compromising the future generations. Moreover, sustainable energy resources primarily involve greater inclusion of renewable energy sources. The biomass is the most widely used renewable energy source, mainly because of its relatively low price and its availability. However, in order for the biomass to stay a renewable energy source, it must be used rationally and with a plan, which primarily requires a detailed analysis of the current situation and resources. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to calculate the optimal utilization of biomass in energy purposes, taking into account the sustainable development of a country. As an example, in this paper Macedonia is considered. A detailed analysis of the data sources related to biomass is made and several different indicators that describe the current situation in Macedonia are presented. Furthermore, several scenarios are defined in this paper in order to calculate the optimal share of biomass in the overall energy mix in Macedonia for the next 20 years, using the MARKAL model.

Abstract Purpose: This article discusses impaired prosody production subsequent to traumatic brain injury (TBI). Prosody may affect naturalness and intelligibility of speech significantly, often for the long term, and TBI may result in a variety of impairments. Method: Intonation, rate, and stress production are discussed in terms of the perceptual, physiological, and acoustic characteristics associated with TBI. Results and Conclusions: All aspects of prosodic production are susceptible to the effects of damage resulting from TBI. There are commonly associated prosodic impairments; however, individual variations in specific aspects of prosody require detailed analysis.
