Contextual mobile advertising, which has the advantages of strong interactivity and immersive experience, will be the development direction of Internet advertising in the future. Although past research has explored the effects of contextual mobile advertising, little research has studied the effect on consumers’ behavior from the perspective of contextual advertising traits. Thus, this study combined the Scene Theory and the Theory of Planned Behavior to construct the model of advertising effectiveness mechanism. By analyzing survey data from a representative sample of 340 mobile consumers, the validity of the model was proved. The results showed that contextual stimulation, contextual interaction, and content accuracy, as contextual factors in mobile advertising, can positively influence consumers’ attitudes toward mobile advertising, which in turn stimulate purchasing intention. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings were also discussed.

As the supplement of buyers' original reviews on products, online additional reviews were supported by some B2C websites recently. That is to say, consumers could post their recommendations or comments again in several months. This paper attempts to measure the impacts of additional reviews on consumers, as well as to investigate whether they are different from those of original ones. Our results not only indicate that purchasing intention, attitude certainty and after-sales service have significant relationship with additional reviews, but also show that additional reviews have greater influence on consumers than original ones. But contrary to our expectations, as for the impacts of additional reviews on consumer's attitude certainty, no significant difference can be found between different product types, as well as between consumers with different involvement levels. Our research fills the online reviews gap, and the empirical implication of additional review provides a reference to B2C ecommerce practice.

The present paper intends to address the impact of COVID-19 crisis upon the consumer buying behavior of fresh vegetables directly from local producers as observed 30 days later, after enforcing the state of emergency in Romania within a well-defined area, namely, the quarantined area of Suceava. The study relies on the interpretation of answers received from the quarantined area (N = 257) to a questionnaire applied online nationwide. The starting point of this paper is the analysis of the sociodemographic factors on the purchasing decision of fresh vegetables directly from local producers before declaring the state of emergency in Romania (16 March 2020). Further research has been conducted by interpreting the changes triggered by the COVID-19 crisis on the purchasing intention of such products before and after the end of the respective crisis. The aim of this scientific investigation relies on identifying the methods by which these behavioral changes can influence the digital transformation of short food supply chains.

Packaging design has developed into one of the most powerful tools for influencing consumer purchase preferences in today’s competitive product retailing market. The purpose of this study is to determine whether consumers’ interest in product packaging (i.e. color, image, material, printed information, and typography) correlates with their purchasing intention. The paper surveyed a focus group of 18 to 35-year-olds in Ho Chi Minh City to learn about their interest in product packaging. Before applying regression, a preliminary statistical investigation was conducted that included reliability and normality analyses. According to focus group research, product packaging has a sizable impact on consumer purchase intentions. Finally, the study concluded that businesses can not afford to overlook the impact of product packaging on consumer purchasing behavior and must establish a package design standard in order to conduct more effective marketing campaigns.
