Aborda a implantação da Gestão da Qualidade em Serviços de Informação com base nas normas da série ISO 9000, a partir de ampla revisão de literatura nacional e internacional, desde o início de sua incidência na literatura especializada até os dias atuais. São apresentados e discutidos os principais benefícios, críticas e dificuldades da implantação deste tipo de modelo, traçando um panorama do tema, com o objetivo de apoiar os gestores de Serviços de Informação na sua compreensão e entendimento, contribuindo para a consolidação da Gestão da Qualidade na área de administração de Serviços de Informação. Abstract The approach of ISO 9000 standards are used aiming at the implementation of Quality Management of Information Services from an extensive investigation on both, national and international literature, from earliest citations to those found on recent days. Presenting and discussing the benefits, concerns and difficulties of this kind of model, the role of the study is to support information services managers in their understanding and knowledge, which means the consolidation of Quality Management on Information System Management field.

One of information system management that can ease and support information and decision making that needed by medium and upper level management is to provide the easy of acces towards information within or outside that relates with the organization’s goal. This study was conducted in the higher education that has organization structure includes lower, medium and upper level management. The method that used was software delevoping method, i.e. waterfall. The result of this study is this information system can be used to support data menagement of quality assurance for support benchmarking of the higher education, obtain information of the higher education activities that agree with target or visi and mission, and also compare the progress of each unit in the higher education. Therefore, from the exsist studies, it can be easy for the executive boards to make policy and decision for running the higher education.

The development tendencies of the information services market and electronic data interchange between enterprisesin Ukraine are studied. Functioning features of electronic data interchange systems and information systems of the enterprises are considered. The stages of work when choosing an information system for an enterprise and its introductionare proposed. The role of analytical accounting of economic activity in enterprise management is disclosed. The main prospects for the development of information technologies in enterprise managementare determined.
