The aim of this research is to describe the behavior of the member of Cak dan Ning Surabaya association in 2015 based on the Islamic consumption behavior theory Al-Haritsi, namely, syari’ah rules, quantity rules, social rules and environmental rules. This study is using descriptive qualitative participative approach to conduct the goals. The units of the analysis in this study are the rule of syari’ah rules, quantity rules, social rules and environmental rules. There are three informants involved in this study who are also the members of the association of Cak and Ning Surabaya 2015. Data triangulation technique is used to ascertain the quality and consistency of data. The technique of analysis which is used is qualitative data analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The results showed that members of the association have implemented syari’ah rules, also apply most of the rules of quantity, social norms, and implementing environmental rules.

The development of music, film, and other industry of entertainment is stated to contribute to the existence of slang words. There are so many slang words that become popular after they are included in the lyrics of songs. One of them is YOLO (You Only Live Once) which is popularized by Drake. In relation to that, this descriptive qualitative research attempts to find out the types and word formation processes of slang words found in the lyrics of Drake’s songs. By taking the model of document analysis by Bowen (2009) and Qualitative data analysis by Miles and Hubberman (1994), it is found out that there are 190 slang words existing in the lyrics of Drake’s songs. They are respectively categorized into Clipping type (62 slangs), Fresh and Creative type (44 slangs), Compounding type (44 slangs), Imitative type (36 slangs), and Acronym type (4 slangs).

This study aims to analyze and categorize the type of yakuwarigo or role language on the Anime of Gintama. Role language, or known as Yakuwarigo in Japanese, is a set of language features associated with a particular type of character in the virtual world. The characteristic of these languages variation such as vocabulary, grammar, intonation, and accent patterns. (Kinsui, 2003). This study also investigates the function of these language variation types focusing on the yakuwarigo types in Anime Gintama. The data collection technique that was used is the note technique. The data analysis technique used in this study was the reading markah analysis technique followed by a descriptive qualitative data analysis technique to present the results of the data analysis. The results show that the type of Yakuwarigo found in Anime Gintama shows the variation of the character itself. Seven types of yakuwarigo seen from 10 Gintama anime characters, namely, aruyo kotoba, hakase go, onee kotoba, joseigo, danseigo, chara gobi, and Osaka ben. And the particular type of the yakuwarigo’s characteristics was shujoshi and specific types of expression used by these characters.

Every human has an innate culture nurtured since childhood, when going to college it's not uncommon someone wants to be a settled foreigner in a different culture area. The writing of this article aims to describe the behavior of young students who want to break away from their parents and take a college away from home. Using informants as a data source, the data that is presented use data through interviews and also the Internet, and then the research method used was descriptive qualitative data analysis. The study's results show that the behavior of students who lived in Surakarta, specifically at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, program Bimbingan dan Konseling still maintains an innate culture. However, trying to follow a culture in Surakarta, especially with their friends. This is seen because the association of the student world is undermining his behavior like that of their dominant friends but also highlights his behavior. The result of this study show students to explore the limits of their civil society lifestyle in Surakarta City and then to understand what going through. Also for people who want to become experts, especially at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta.

This study discusses and examines potential identification and package tour in Tabanan regency. Qualitative approaches were applied in this research. The data were collected by using observation techniques, in-depths interviews, and documentation technique. Informant and key informant techniques were used to determine the informantion. This study used descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques with three steps which are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. In this study, showed potential identifications taken place in Alas Kedaton, Jatiluwih, Batukaru Temple, Subak Museum, and Tengkudak Village. The packaging of this package tour with itinerary such as visit the Subak Museum, Tengkudak village adventure, visit Jatiluwih, sightseeing in Batukaru temple, sightseeing in Alas Kedaton and shopping in Krisna oleh-oleh. This package tour was presented in tabulated style, Graphic style as well as the calculation of travel costs.

ABSTRACTPerang Bangkat Ceremony is one proof of the diversity of cultures in Banyuwangi. Thiscustom is held at a bride and groom event at the Osing tribe, but not all weddinggatherings use the Perang Bangkat Ceremony. Perang Bangkat is used when the brideis the eldest and youngest child in her family.The Osing people believe that if the eldestchild marries the youngest child, then in his household there will be many problems ortemptations that occur. This is where the osing community feels it is necessary to do thePerang Bangkat in the event of a wedding gathering which is intended to keep theobstacles or obstacles in the household that will be lived by the bride and groom. Withthe above conditions it can be known at this time that very few people understand theJavanese language spoken at the traditional ceremony of the Perang Bangkat. So thatin determining the respondents the author uses the snowball method. The data collectionused the method of observation, interviews and documentation. From the explanationabove, the writer would like to examine further the meaning contained in the BangkatCustomary Ceremony as an effort to increase knowledge about Javanese language andcultural heritage which are intended to increase love and care for the BangkatCustomary Customs in the modernization era. Therefore the authors feel the need tofurther study the customs of warfare and conduct research with the title "Dialogue ofJavanese Language in the Form of Osing Tribal War Sing Singuruh Subdistrict" Themethod used in descriptive qualitative data analysis with interactive analysis techniquesand using the checking of findings by triangulation source.Keywords: Javanese dialectic, Perang Bangkat

This research is aimed at figuring out the dominant symbolisms and the meanings in the five selected love poems of Nicholas Gordon. The descriptive-qualitative method was applied in this research. To analyze the data, the researcher used qualitative data analysis. The results showed that there were twenty five conventional symbolisms and nineteen natural symbolisms in the five selected love poems of Nicholas Gordon. In other words, four conventional symbolisms and four natural symbolisms in the first selected love poem, four conventional symbolisms and eight natural symbolisms in the second selected love poem, ten conventional symbolisms and one natural symbolism in the third selected love poem, four conventional symbolisms and three natural symbolisms in the fourth selected love poem, and three conventional symbolisms and three natural symbolisms in the fifth selected love poem. In conclusion, conventional symbolism was more dominant than natural symbolism, and most of the meanings of the poems related to feelings of happiness and sadness in line with love relationship.

This study aims to determine the results of valid puzzle media development and the feasibility of developing practical puzzle media on temperature and heat material. In this study, the authors chose a puzzle with Microsoft PowerPoint as a tool to develop a medium. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis. With the Thiagarajan 4D model, namely defining, designing, and developing this research only goes through 3 stages up to the develop stage. The instrument used was a validation sheet which was analyzed using a Likert scale. Data collection techniques are observation, material and media expert validation sheets and teacher practicality sheets. The results showed that according to the expert the material was in a very valid category with a good predicate of 95.8% with improvement results. It's worth using. The validation result according to media experts is 90% with a good predicate is very valid, while the practicality or teacher response is 77.5% with a good predicate very feasible.

This research is entitled “The Effectiveness of Using Cooperative Script Method to Improve Students’ Reading Comprehension on Recount Text of 8th Grade Students of SMP N Kewapante, Maumere in Academic Year 2017/ 2018”. The objective of this research is to investigate and to find out whether the use of cooperative script method effective to improve students’ reading comprehension on recount text. The method of this research is experimental research especially quasi experimental research. In analyzing the data, the researcher combined both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. In qualitative data analysis, the researcher used interview technique in order to get information about students’ perceptions in reading, while in quantitative data analysis, the researcher used SPSS version 16. The result of the research showed that the implementation of Cooperative Script Method in experimental class was more effective to help the students in reading comprehension on recount text compared to the use of the conventional method in control class of the eighth grade students of SMP N Kewapante, Maumere. It is also found that cooperative script method positively contributed to improve students’ reading comprehension. Therefore ,the researcher  suggests the teachers to use cooperative script method in order to improve students reading comprehension Additionally, cooperative script method can also motivate students to be more active, relax and enthusiastic to comprehend reading texts.
