Integrating information and communication technology (ICT) in the learning process continues to evolve with various patterns and strategies, grouped into (1) e-Learning system, the process of learning that utilizes electronic devices and digital media, and (2) m- Learning, or mobile learning, the process of learning that utilizes mobile communication technology and devices. The rapid development of mobile devices, relatively easy operations, and more affordable prices, is a supporting factor in the widespread use of mobile learning to become a new alternative of learning media. These conditions encourage the formation of learning paradigm that can be done anytime and anywhere. The aim of the research is to develop the design/model of an Android-based Camcorder Simulator Application for the students of cinematography courses majoring education technology of education faculty in Semarang State University. This research method refers to the research and development (R&D) proposed by Borg and Gall (in Sukmadinata, 2016) with some modifications that have been developed by Sukmadinata. Withal, the research procedures used in this study focus on the development stages of application model/design. This step includes the following steps; (1) Model development (product design), (2) Design validation, and (3) Design revisions. The results of this study indicate that the process of developing an android-based camcorder simulator application model is done through the steps according to the research procedures, beginning with requirement analysis, then compiling competency map, material map, the main point of media content (GBIM), material descriptions (JM), flowchart and script, then design validation and product revision. Modeling camcoder simulator application is also ready for further stage of research and development. The use of an android-based camcorder simulator application is demanded in the learning process of cinematography course, especially the engineering material and the shooting procedure as it can assist students to be autonomous learners.

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the learning process developed into a fight trought various designs and strategies which can be grouped into (1) E-learning as a learning form system that utilizes electronic devices and digital media,  and (2) Mobile learning (M-learning)  as a particular learning form to utilize mobile communication devices and information technology. The rapid development of mobile devices, relatively easy operation,  and more affordable prices,  is supporting factors in the widespread use of mobile learning into a new alternative of learning media. Those conditions encourage the learning paradigm that can be done anytime and anywhere.  The purpose of research to be achieved is to develop the design of the android camera based simulator software model as a learning media in cinematography lesson study program of educational technology FIP Unnes.  This research method refers to the research and development strategy proposed by Borg and Gall (in Sukmadinata,  2016) with some modifications that have been developed by Sukmadinata.  The research procedure used in the study focusing on the development stages of application design model.  The steps includes the following steps (1) model development (product design), (2) design validation, (3) design revisions. The results of research on the development of video camera simulator model can be concluded that the application of android based video camera in the process of validation by media experts obtained the results of software engineering aspects obtained 92 scores with very good category, while the visual communication design aspect scored 84, also with very good category. As for the material experts, validation on aspects of learning design got score 85 with very good category as well. Based on the validation results of media experts and materials experts, the application of this androdi-based video camera simulator is improved according to the records of media experts and material experts. Before used in the next research process should this application really well prepared, so the results obtained in accordance with the expected AbstrakPengintegrasian teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam proses pembelajaran terus berkembang dengan berbagai pola dan strategi, yang dapat dikelompokkan menjadi (1) sistem e-Learning sebagai bentuk pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan perangkat elektronik dan media digital, dan (2) mobile learning (m-learning) sebagai bentuk pembelajaran yang khusus memanfaatkan perangkat dan teknologi komunikasi bergerak. Perkembangan perangkat mobile yang begitu pesat, operasional yang relatif mudah, dan harga yang semakin terjangkau, merupakan faktor pendorong semakin meluasnya penggunaan mobile learning menjadi alternatif baru media pembelajaran. Kondisi tersebut mendorong terbentuknya paradigma pembelajaran yang dapat dilakukan kapanpun dan dimanapun. Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai adalah mengembangkan desain model Aplikasi Simulator Kamera Video Berbasis Android sebagai media pembelajaran mata kuliah sinematografi pembelajaran prodi Teknologi Pendidikan FIP Unnes. Metode penelitian ini mengacu pada strategi penelitian dan pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Borg dan Gall (dalam Sukmadinata, 2016) dengan beberapa modifikasi yang telah dikembangkan oleh Sukmadinata. Adapun dalam artikel ini, prosedur penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian, fokus pada tahap pengembangan desain model aplikasi. Dalam tahap ini mencakup langkah-langkah sebagai berikut (1) Model pengembangan (desain produk), (2) Validasi desain, (3) Revisi desain, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan desain model aplikasi simulator kamera video berbasis android dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah sesuai prosedur penelitian di atas, diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan, kemudian menyusun peta kompetensi, peta materi, Garis Besar Isi Media (GBIM), jabaran materi, flowchart dan naskah, kemudian dilakukan validasi desain dan revisi produk. Desain model aplikasi simulator kamera video ini juga siap digunakan untuk tahap penelitian dan pengembangan selanjutnya. Penggunaan aplikasi simulator kamera video berbasis android sangat diperlukan dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah sinematografi pembelajaran, khususnya materi teknik dan prosedur pengambilan gambar karena dapat membantu mahasiswa belajar secara mandiri

Optimalisasi penggunaan smartphone dalam proses pembelajaran masih rendah. Maka sangat diperlukan merancang suatu proses pembelajaran dengan mengoptimalkan penggunaan smartphone. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang proses pembelajaran menggunakan smartphone dengan sistem mobile learning berbasis android terhadap mata kuliah Organisasi Arsitektur Komputer di perguruan tinggi. Model yang digunakan adalah Instructional Development Institute (IDI) dalam metode Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mobile learning untuk matakuliah organisasi arsitektur komputer ini valid untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran, sesuai dengan hasil uji validitas yang dilakukan dengan pakar media serta pakar materi didapatkan hasil dari Perhitungan validasi materi yaitu validator 1 (0,91), validator 2 (0,95) dan validasi desain yaitu validator 1 (0,9), validator 2 (0,89) , yang termasuk  kategori  valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan terhadap media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis android berdasar respon dosen adalah pada nilai rata-rata 92%, dan berdasar respon mahasiswa adalah pada nilai rata-rata 87,61% yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Untuk uji efektifitas yang diujikan ke mahasiswa didapatkan hasil untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 74,56% dan eksperimen sebesar 82,25%.  Sehingga penggunaan mobile learning berbasis Android ini valid, praktis dan efektif untuk dapat digunakan pada mata kuliah organisasi arsitektur komputer di Universitas Putera Indonesia YPTK Padang.Kata kunci: Mobile learning, organisasi arsitektur komputer, research and development Android-based mobile learning development as a learning media for computer architecture organization AbstractOptimizing the use of smartphones in the learning process is still low. So it is very necessary to design a learning process by optimizing the use of smartphones. This study aims to design the learning process using a smartphone with an Android-based mobile learning system for Computer Architecture Organization courses in universities. The model used is the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) in the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results of this study indicate that mobile learning for computer architecture organization courses is valid to be used as a learning support media, in accordance with the results of the validity test conducted with media experts and material experts obtained from the Calculation of material validation namely validator 1 (0.91), validator 2 (0.95) and design validation, namely validator 1 (0.9), validator 2 (0.89), which is included in the valid category. The results of practicality tests on Android-based mobile learning media based on lecturer responses are at an average value of 92%, and based on student responses is at an average value of 87.61% which is included in the very practical category. For the effectiveness test that is tested on students, the results for the control class were 74.56% and experiments were 82.25%. So that the use of Android-based mobile learning is valid, practical and effective to be used in computer architecture organization courses at the University of Putera Indonesia YPTK Padang.Keywords: computer architecture organization, mobile learning, research and development

Recently, with the rapid development of information network and communication technology, Mobile learning has playing an important role in people's studying and working and becomes the focus and tendency of distance learning. On the other hand, adult education as a supplement of ordinary education has playing an important role in improving labors' total quality, For adult learners are busy for work and they only have to learn at spare moment, so the form of adult education should be more flexible, not only limit to television university and night college. Mobile learning is flexible and individual which can provide adult learners a good way to learn. This issue's aim is to design and develop an adult English mobile learning system.

The amount of information to be accumulated at university has been increasing in recent years, so students nowadays are moving towards using computers in the learning process. Application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), particularly educational software, to facilitate the learning and teaching process has become a more and more popular trend among teachers. In Thai Nguyen University of Technology (TNUT), Vietnam, a multi-disciplinary virtual learning environment (http://e-learning.tnut.edu.vn) has been established on the MOODLE platform. The aim of this paper is to introduce the design of self-practice listening and vocabulary exercises for the TOEFL-ITP preparation course by integrating the exercises designed with the Hot Potatoes and Quizlet into TNUT’s institutional e-learning system. First, the advantages of the e-learning system are discussed. Second, the tools and materials necessary for the design are described. Finally, a suggestion on integrating the listening and vocabulary exercises designed by the Hot Potatoes software and Quizlet into the available e-learning system is introduced.

The rapid development of mobile technology has brought the change of learning. Mobile learning refers to a new kind of learning for the use of wireless communication technologies and mobile equipments to obtain the educational information, resources, and services. The framework of mobile learning system using wireless communication technology is proposed, a mobile learning support system with multiple wireless terminals is implemented which customs communication protocol to communicate with each other and uses multi-threading technology. The server push learning content to the terminal, learners receive information or to send information to the server through wireless terminal, to feedback information and interaction, and server processes terminal information, data analysis, and then sent to the learner. The system can be applied to a variety of mobile learning occasions, the application shows that the effect of the system effectively reduce the learning environment, and to increase the participation and interest of the learner, improve learning efficiency and learning outcomes.
