This article presents the status of rural Bangladeshi adolescent girls' awareness about reproductive health. Analysis of data revealed that a sizable proportion of adolescent girls had incorrect knowledge or misconceptions about the fertile period, reproduction, sexually transmitted diseases, and HIV/AIDS. Age, education either of adolescents or their mothers, residence, and exposure to mass media were the significant predictors of adolescent girls' knowledge about reproductive health. Strong efforts are needed to improve awareness and to clarify misconceptions about reproductive health. Improved access to mass media and education could improve rural Bangladeshi adolescent girls' awareness about reproductive health.

This article aims to explore gay sexual orientation which is clashed with Islam and Psychology. In Islamic teachings, gay behavior that refers to acts of liwat} is an act that is forbidden. Even the death penalty is a threat to people who have a sexual orientation to the same sex. Based on this matter, this paper explores the case, where religious translations appear to meet irreconcilable needs, namely between gay and Islam. The research method used in this paper is qualitative with an approach Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The formal object used is the lens of the Vaillant version of the self-defense mechanisms theory. The results found in this study show that gays admit that their sexual orientation is a sin. They are aware of this as a whole, but none of the subjects of this study wish to leave Islam. The methods of gay in reconciling the conflict are: First, Islam is seen as a forgiving religion: Secondly, it is sinful to have sex outside marriage either homo or hetero and Third, sexual orientation is considered as the nature of God.

Bu çalışmada üzerinde durulan risk erken yaş gebelikleridir ve Suriyeli kadınlar arasında erken yaş gebelikleri yaygın bir sorun olduğu saptanmıştır.ABSTRACT IN ENGLISHSyrian Immigrants and Early Pregnancy as an Important Reproductive Health IssueConflicts and war increase sexually transmitted diseases, undesired pregnancy, violence risk to women and adolescence girls, besides mother and infant deaths. Outing is conceptually linked to the notion of the “closet”; “coming out of the closet” amounts to publicly acknowledging one’s homosexuality, or at the least one’s participation in sexual activities with persons of the same sex. Outing makes someone’s homosexuality public; they are forced out of the closet, so to speak. Richard Mohr has described it this way: “outing [makes] publicly acknowledged the sexual orientation of a homosexual without regard to whether the person is willing to have this information publicly acknowledged”. Leslie Green provides this definition: “the practice of publicly exposing someone’s presumed sexual orientation, against his or her will, in circumstances where the revelation may be damaging.”
