Abstract In order to overcome the problem that the existing methods of compiling load spectrum of spindle or machine tool mainly aim at the cutting force spectrum, torque spectrum and speed spectrum respectively, which ignore the connection between each spectrum, in this paper, a method for compiling drilling load spectrum of motorized spindle in CNC machine tool based on the characteristics of drilling force is proposed. Firstly, drilling tests under different processing technologies are carried out to measure its load, and the correction coefficient in the empirical formula of drilling force is obtained through fitting the measured drilling force, which makes the calculation of the axial force and torque more reasonable. Secondly, compared with the extended factor method, the transcendental probability method is optimized to solve the ultimate load of the axial force. Then, after setting the axial force as the main load of drilling, an eight-stage load spectrum for the main load is compiled. Finally, according to the relationship between the axial force and other loads, the eight-stage loading spectrum is transformed into a multi-dimensional drilling load spectrum.

Feed servo system is an important part in CNC machine tool. In order to promote CNC machine tools precision, it is particularly important to enhance the control methods research on feed servo system. In this paper, different mathematical models of CNC machine tools feed servo system in different control modes are established, and their transfer functions are obtained, also the corresponding simulation models are constructed by using Simulink tools under MATLAB environment. Through simulating, the relationship between the systems parameters and the performance of servo system are obtained, some reliable theoretical basis can be achieved for improving and enhancing CNC machine tool servo system performance. Therefore some references for the performance optimization of feed servo system in CNC machine tool are provided.

This paper presents some simulation based upon a dynamic model of a feed-drive within the structure of a CNC machine tool. A DC servomotor was considered as actuation device for the feed drive. For a given set of parameters for the position controller, two fuzzy types of fuzzy controllers were tested by means of simulation. The first fuzzy controller was a proportional one, with one input and one output, while the second one was a two variables one, with two inputs and one outputp.
