Abstract At present, embedded applications on the WinCE platform are extending towards microservices and miniaturization. More embedded device application data requires small, embedded database systems to organize, store, and manage. The embedded database SQLite has many advantages such as zero-configuration, lightweight, multiple interfaces, easy portability, readable source code, and open source. It is currently widely used in the WinCE embedded operating system. This article discusses the technical characteristics of the SQLite database in detail, SQLite data manipulation, SQLite transplantation under the WinCE platform, and finally implements SQLite data management on WinCE mobile terminal based on MFC programming.

Abstract As we all know, embedded systems are becoming more and more widely used. All devices with digital interfaces, such as watches, microwave ovens, video recorders, automobiles, etc., use embedded systems, but most embedded systems are implemented by a single embedded application program to achieve the entire control logic. At present, embedded applications on the WinCE platform are extending towards microservices and miniaturization.

The diversity of applications developed with different programming languages, application/data architectures, database systems and representation of data/information leads to heterogeneity issues. One of the problem challenges in the problem of heterogeneity is about heterogeneity data in term of semantic aspect. The semantic aspect is about data that has the same name with different meaning or data that has a different name with the same meaning. The semantic data mapping process is the best solution in the current days to solve semantic data problem. There are many semantic data mapping technologies that have been used in recent years. This research aims to compare and analyze existing semantic data mapping technology using five criteria’s. After comparative and analytical process, this research provides recommendations of appropriate semantic data mapping technology based on several criteria’s. Furthermore, at the end of this research we apply the recommended semantic data mapping technology to be implemented with the real data in the specific application. The result of this research is the semantic data mapping file that contains all data structures in the application data source. This semantic data mapping file can be used to map, share and integrate with other semantic data mapping from other applications and can also be used to integrate with the ontology language.

In future mobile systems, the end-terminals will be considerably more diverse than nowadays, and the users will have a greater choice of access technologies, offering different QoS, cost, security and so on. A mobile terminal equipped with multiple interfaces can achieve a much higher bandwidth by aggregating the bandwidth offered by the individual networks. In this paper, we present a system based on Mobile IPv6 that achieves the above objectives. We will discuss in detail the architectural requirements and algorithms that are needed to support the above system. We also extended our proposed scheme to support even if the correspondent node also has multiple interfaces. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can uniformly distribute data packets among multiple channels and deliver the packets perfectly in order at receiver to achieve bandwidth aggregation.

B+-trees algorithm is a high efficient and common-used data organization algorithm in database system. But B+-trees algorithm has a disadvantage of low storage utilization. This disadvantage has a bad effect especially on embedded database systems, which have limit storage. To overcome this drawback, this paper presents an improved B+-trees algorithm, and applies it to an embedded database-Berkeley DB. Experimental results show that the improved B+-trees algorithm can attain higher storage utilization at the expense of more execution time than the conventional B+-trees algorithm.

In order to make the embedded system without large memory capacity and embedded operating system can use database to manage data for itself, this paper puts forward a universal model of embedded database combining the characteristic of embedded database. It studies the structure of the model and applies it to tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It discusses the hardware design, file frame, physical structure and logical structure of the embedded database of TPMS. Then it sets up a reliable, real-time, convenient database for TPMS. This database will manage the data which come from TPMS effectively when automobiles are running. It makes TPMS can analyze the status of driving car scientifically and provide reliable tire information.
