To date, in the field of monitoring deformations of the earth’s surface in the area of opencast mining, there is almost no current regulatory and methodological documentation that regulates the conduct of observations and at the same time takes into account the features of existing mining facilities of opencast mining and the possibilities of modern survey technologies. The paper gives an approach to determining a set of methods for deformation monitoring within the territory of mining enterprises engaged in open-pit mining, based on the results of the typification of mining facilities. The developed typification makes it possible to estimate the degree of complexity of mining-engineering facilities, taking into account their size, features of engineering-geological, hydrogeological and orographic conditions, geodynamic processes. To increase the information content of mine surveying, as well as the quality and accuracy of deformation monitoring as a whole, it is proposed to include technologies for Earth remote sensing from space, namely, satellite-based synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometry, used within the proposed concept for areal monitoring of deformations and detection potentially hazardous areas at complex and particularly complex opencast mining facilities. The proposed approach to the organization of deformation monitoring was tested within the territory of the Khibiny apatite-nepheline deposit of the Rasvumchorr Plateau: the complexity of conditions for the development of the Tsentralny open pit was evaluated and recommendations were formulated for conducting mine surveying of deformations of the earth’s surface in its territory using satellite-based SAR interferometry. This method was used to analyze deformations of the earth’s surface for the periods from 2007 to 2011 and from 2015 to 2016 according to data from the ALOS PALSAR, TerraSAR-X and Sentinel-1 satellites.

There have some advantages like as Good working conditions, High Security, Guaranteed production capacity and Low loss for Open pit mining, therefore the degree of opencast mining increasing. In this paper numerical simulation and limit equilibrium are used for Stability of west project of side slope which are under the conditions of Normal and Saturation. Draw slope stability results under the two conditions in order to take appropriate measures to provide appropriate post- mining safety protection.

The article is devoted to the substantiation of the line of action for reclamationof disturbed lands. The object of reclamation is a land plot (Russia, Leningrad Region), disturbed as a result of unauthorized open-pit mining operations for the extraction of limestone. In order to obtain the information necessary to justify the reclamation project, the following works were carried out: reconnaissance and route observations, topographic, geological, and environmental surveys of the land. Based on the results of the generalized study data of the environmental and economic justification, a line of action for agricultural reclamation was chosen. In addition, an assessment of the estimated cost of the event was carried out and a list of necessary works was proposed within the framework of the technical and biological stages of reclamation.

Abstract. InSAR has developed a variety of methods, such as D-InSAR, PS-InSAR, MBAS, CT, SqueeSAR, POT, etc., which have been widely used in land subsidence monitoring. For open pit mining areas, there are usually mining activity, complex terrain features, low coherence, and local large deformation gradients, which makes it difficult for time series InSAR technology to obtain high-density surface deformation information in open pit mining areas. Traditional methods usually only monitor the linear deformation of the surface caused by the mining of a few working zone above the underground mining area, and the temporal and spatial resolution is lower. How to obtain high-precision, high-density, and time-sensitive deformation information is the main difficulty of InSAR monitoring in open pit mining areas. Make full use of the geosensor network monitoring system, optimize monitoring mode of collaborated satellite-to-ground based InSAR, further realize whole calculation and geographic information services, to achieve early identification and discovery of abnormal in large-area macro-monitoring, and accurate monitoring of local areas in real-time early warning, which is the development direction of ground deformation monitoring of mining areas. The study area is Pingshuo open pit mining area. we fully study the application mode and services of InSAR monitoring for geohazards in open-pit mining area, through the establishment of satellite InSAR technology system for large-scale macro-monitoring and forecasting, and GBSAR and GSN for local precision monitoring. The effective mode of InSAR monitoring of geohazard in open-pit mines is summarized. A combination of D-InSAR, POT (Pixel offset tracking), Time Series-InSAR and GB-SAR is used in a wide range, and high-resolution optical images are used to identify localized changes in subsidence areas and open-pit mining areas.

The article presents technical solutions for the implementation of a high-precision satellite positioning system when performing mine surveying in an open pit. A system was put into commercial operation at one of the fields of JSC "Sokolovsko-Sarbayskoe mining and processing production association" (JSC "SSGPO") this year. The project was funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan through grants for scientific and technical projects 2018–2020 and was co-financed by a private partner, JSC "SSGPO". All work was carried out jointly with the Subsidiary Limited Liability Company "Institute of Space Engineering and Technology". The technology of differential correction of GNSS signals in the form of base stations of differential correction (BSDC) allows solving the problems of high-precision satellite positioning. The main task assigned to the continuously operating base station is the collection of code and phase data from GPS/GLONASS satellites and the distribution of this data to users (services of JSC "SSGPO" and specialists of contracting organizations performing mine surveying and geodetic work at the field). Development of a mobile module and the rationale for its inclusion in the BSDC is provided in this work.

Hazardous production facilities at open-pit mines are zones characterized by the presence of natural or man-made factors causing emergencies and life safety threats. When conducting mining operations and processing solid minerals, it is necessary to monitor the condition of sides, trenches, ledges, slopes and dumps, and areas of possible collapses or failures. The monitoring is carried out by the mine surveying de-partment. They conduct instrumental observations of displacement processes, deformations of the earth's surface, buildings, and structures. The stationary benchmarks adapted for attaching stationary reflectors and measuring instruments help to minimize risk factors during instrumental observations. This allows for remote monitoring without the presence of people in danger zones. The automatic remote monitoring system allows for measuring cycles at high speeds and small frequencies, which eliminates errors caused by the human factor. Constantly updated parameters of the monitored object are used to predict the state of the object with a high degree of reliability, prevent accidents or calculate economic indicators of consequences.

Opencast mining of coal deposits is a priority in Russia, while providing coal to the domestic and foreign markets. Despite reasonable concerns about air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, coal use will continue to be significant in the future. Consequently, it is necessary to introduce less polluting and more efficient technologies in the industry in the coming decades. Coal deposits are being developed by the open method with a limited deposit length. An indicator for estimating volumes is proposed -the ratio of sediment fraction in a quarry. The dependence of the sediment fraction in the quarry on the pit depth, thickness and angle of incidence of the formation of coal seams (with an oblique and steep fall) is established. Recommendations on the use of land-saving dumping for the open-cast mining of coal deposits have been developed. The structure of complex mechanization on dumping is proposed depending on the properties of rocks (soft or bedrock) and types of transport.
