This study aims to present an overview of researches on factors affecting the results of students learning foreign languages, especially English, from previous studies. The results of retrospective analysis of documents and studies have shown the gaps of research methods in analyzing the factors affecting English learning outcomes of students and recommended the use of structural equation modeling methods (SEM) to predict students English learning outcomes based on both subjective and objective factors.

This study aimed to investigate the interrelationship of psychological capital (PsyCap) and mindful learning for English learning engagement and the possible path from PsyCap to English learning engagement with mindful learning as the mediator for university students in Taiwan. Data from 245 Taiwanese university students were used to analyze their PsyCap, mindful learning, and English learning engagement. The results of structural equation modeling indicated that PsyCap predicted mindful learning, mindful learning predicted English learning engagement, and a complete mediation existsed with mindful learning as the mediator between PsyCap and English learning engagement. The findings suggested that training and practicing PsyCap and mindful learning may be effective in facilitating English learning outcomes.

Purpose of the study: In this study, the primary aim is to identify the effects of self-efficacy and cyber bullying knowledge on cyber bullying risks among Jordanian students. Methodology: The population of the study specifically comprised of Jordanian students in Irbid students, with the study sample being 153 students. Accordingly, a questionnaire was developed and disseminated among the students to gather data for the achievement of the study objectives. The study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study also employed AMOS 23.0 and SPSS 25.0 software in SEM. Main Findings: self-efficacy and cyber bullying knowledge factors do have significant effects on cyber bullying risks. Applications of this study: This research can be used for academic purposes for universities, lecturers of education and management, researchers and undergraduate and postgraduate students. Novelty/Originality of this study: The phenomenon that existed in cyber bullying and referring from various previous research results, the study regarding the cyber bullying was conducted and presented comprehensively and completely. It is necessary examine the effect of self-efficacy and cyber bullying knowledge factors on cyber bullying risks.

Most relationships between variables describing natural and behavioral phenomena are nonlinear, with U-curve and S-curve relationships being particularly common. Yet, structural equation modeling software tools do not estimate coefficients of association taking nonlinear relationships between latent variables into consideration. This can lead to misleading results, particularly in multivariate and complex phenomena like those related to e-collaboration. One notable exception is WarpPLS (available from: warppls.com), a new structural equation modeling software currently available in its first release. The discussion presented in this paper contributes to the literature on e-collaboration research methods by providing a description of the main features of WarpPLS in the context of an e-collaboration study. The focus of this discussion is on the software’s features and their use and not on e-collaboration study itself. Particular emphasis is placed on the five steps through which a structural equation modeling analysis is conducted through WarpPLS.
