Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran bercirikan Active Knowledge Sharing dengan pendekatan saintifik dalam upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuanpemecahan masalah, dan sikap terhadap matematika siswa SMP Kelas VIII Semester 2 yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Development Research). Penelitian ini mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi: silabus; Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP); dan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan, Semmel, dan Semmel. Hasil validasi menunjukkan perangkat yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa perangkat yang dikembangkan praktis dan efektif. Ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sudah mencapai kriteria minimal 80% yaitu untuk tes pengetahuan mencapai 97,2%, sedangkan tes pemecahan masalah mencapai 95,4%. Berdasarkan angket sikap terhadap matematika, 98,1% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan skor sikap terhadap matematika, dan 94,4% siswa menunjukkan sikap terhadap matematika dengan kategori minimal baik.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, active knowledge sharing, saintifik Developing the learning kit characterized by active knowledge sharing with scientific approach for grade VIII AbstractThis research aimed to produce valid, practical, and effective learning kit characterized by Active Knowledge Sharing with Scientific Approach, as an effort to improve knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attitudes toward mathematics among Junior High School students in Class VIII Semester 2. This was a research and developmental study. The learning kit developed consist of: syllabus; lesson plans; and students worksheets. This developmental study refers to the model 4-D suggested by Thiangarajan, Semmel & Semmel. The results of the validation shows that the kit developed was valid with “very good” category. The experimental results show that the kit developed was practical and effective. Classical learning completeness reached at least 80% criterion for the test of knowledge 97.2%, while the troubleshooting tests reached 95.4%. Based on the questionnaire attitudes towards mathematics, 98.1% of students show increased scores for attitudes toward mathematics and 94.4% of students show attitudes towards mathematics with minimum category of good.Keywords: developmental study, active knowledge sharing, scientific

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa SMP yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan open ended. Subjek  Penelitian  ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP kelas VIII yang ada di Kabupaten Bandung, sebagai sampelnya ialah salah satu sekolah yang ada di Kabupaten Bandung, kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh perlakuan dengan pendekatan open ended dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan perlakuan dengan pendekatan saintifik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretes and postes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik berjumlah 5 butir soal uraian. Data diperoleh dari hasil pretes dan postes kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan software microsoft excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan open ended lebih baik dibandingkan dengan yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Kata kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, pendekatan open ended, pendekatan saintifik. ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to examine the achievement of mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students whose learning uses the open-ended approach. The subjects of this study were all eighth-grade junior high school students in Bandung regency, the sample was one of the schools in Bandung regency, class VIII A as an experimental class that received treatment with an open-ended approach and class VIII B as a control class that received treatment with a scientific approach. The instrument used in this study was in the form of a test of mathematical problem-solving abilities totaling 5 items of description items. Data obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest are then processed using Microsoft Excel software. The results showed that the achievement of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities for learning using the open-ended approach was better than learning using the scientific approach. This research is motivated by the low ability of mathematics understanding of junior high school students, with the aim of the study is to examine the achievement, improvement, implementation, and difficulty of mathematics understanding ability of junior high school students through learning using Geogebra-assisted scientific approach. The method of this research is an experimental method with two class groups namely experimental class and control class. The population of this research is all junior high school in West Bandung Regency, randomly selected and selected SMP Krida Utama Padalarang. Samples were taken randomly class VIII chosen D as an experimental class, and class VIII C as control class. The experimental level received learning with the Geogebra-assisted scientific approach, and the control class gained regular learning. The results showed that the achievement and improvement of the ability of mathematical understanding between students who received learning with scientific approach assisted Geogebra software better with students who get regular learning. Learning with Geogebra-assisted scientific approach can be implemented in the experimental class by the steps of the scientific method of observing, asking, exploring, associating, and communicating.

The purpose of this developmental research was to develop a scientific approach based science worksheet on the dynamic electrical material topic for ninth-grade junior high school students.  The worksheet were developed based on scientific approach. The stages include:  observing, asking questions, gathering information, processing information, and communicating. The development model used is the 4-D Model consists of 4 stages: define,  design, develop, and desimanate. The results of the validation, a small and large group trials indicated that the used of the scientific approach based science worksheet was appropriate for use. Thus, the developed worksheets can be used in the process of learning for Junior high school science students. Keywords : Worksheet , Scientific approach

This research is motivated by the low mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in the city of Bandung Regency. This study aims to determine the comparison of the mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in the city of Bandung regency between the learning usingmodels Think Talk Write. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design involving two groups and randomly selected classes, at the beginning and end of the study the two classes were given a test. The population in this study were junior high school students in the city of Bandung Regency, while the sample consisted of two randomly selected classes. Obtained class VII A (experimental class) given themodel Think Talk Write and class VII B (control class) is given a scientific approach. The instrument used was a 5-item mathematical communication ability description test, then theability scores mathematical communication students'were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using the help of SPSS 21 software. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there were differences in the achievement of students' mathematical communication skills using models Think Talk Write with students who used a scientific approach.

This study aims to analyze the investigative skills of Junior High School students upon the use of tracker video analysis for 21th century skill.This reasearch was quasy experimental reasearch using non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population was 8th grade of SMP Negeri 4 Depok in academic year of 2018/2019, which consists of 4 classes with a total of 127 students. The samples consist of 30 students of class VIII A and 30 students of class VIII B, which are selected using cluster sampling technique. The Class VIII A was chosen as the control class, which used powerpoint and video, whereas Class VIII B was prepared as the experiment class, which used Tracker Video Analysis. The instruments used were pretest-posttest questions and observation sheet of investigative skill. The data analysis technique used was t-test. The result of this reasearch shows that the analysis through t-test gives a significance level value of investigative skill of 0.024 (Sig. α). This shows that there is an infuence of investigative skill of students upon Tracker Video Analysis.

The aims of this research are to produce SETS worksheet that can be applied in teaching learning to grow and process skills and scientific attitude for students in Junior High Shcool. The study was a Research and Development (R D ) with students in class VIII SMP N 1 Sewon Bantul as a subject of study. The reseach start form July to November 2015. The study began with a literatature study and field study to obtain information about the problem faced at school, and followed by planning, drafting and validating product by experts. The result shows that SETS worksheet feasible to use in teaching and learning based on the validation result from lecturer, teacher and student response. The SETS Worksheet potential for growing the student's process skills and the scientific attitudeAbstract english version, written using Time New Roman-11, italic. Abstract contain research aim/purpose, method, and reseach results; written in 1 paragraph, single space among rows, using past tense sentences.

Abstrak: Kegiatan pendampingan pengajaran English fun bagi siswa SMPN 5 Narmada merupakan bentuk pengabdian dalam rangka memberikan semangat dan motivasi belajar bahasa Inggris yang menyenangkan. Pendampingan pengajaran ini difokuskan pada siswa kelas VIII tahun pelajaran 2018-2019. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pengajaran langsung didalam ruangan kelas dengan menggunakan metode permainan (game) seperti pair work cards, board card and spelling be game. Penggunaan metode ini sangat efektif dalam merangsang inspirasi belajar siswa untuk lebih memahami capaian pembelajaran. Kegiatan pendampingan pengajaran berlangsung selama 6 kali pertemuan. Selama proses pengajaran, para siswa terlihat aktif dan termotivasi untuk lebih semangat belajar bahasa Inggris. Para siswa ikut terlibat secara langsung dalam mengerjakan tugas dan latihan sesuai dengan arahan dan instruksi seorang guru. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode game yang menyenangkan atau variasi metode akan mampu mendorong motivasi belajar siswa. Metode ini sangat cocok untuk dikembangkan bagi siswa sekolah disetiap jenjang khususnya siswa sekolah menengah pertama.Kata Kunci: Pengajaran, English, Fun.Abstract:  Teaching English fun for students of SMP 5 Narmada is a kind of service on community in order to have enthusiasm and motivation to learn English fun. This teaching service is focused on class VIII students in the academic year 2018-2019. This service is carried out in the form of direct teaching in the classroom by using game such as pair work cards, board cards and spelling be games. The use of these methods are more effective in stimulating the students' learning inspiration for getting the point of learning outcomes. Teaching services activities was conducted for 6 meetings. During the teaching process, students were actively and motivated to be more enthusiastic in learning English. The students are directly participate to do the assignments and exercises according to the direction and instructions of a teacher. Thus, the use of fun game methods or their variations will be able to encourage student learning motivation. These methods were very suitable to be developed for high school students each level, especially junior high school students.Keywords: Teaching, English, Fun

This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of junior high school students on Pythagoras material. Subjects in this study are students of class VIII-F in SMP Negeri 1 Ngamprah with the number of students 37 people. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. This type is chosen because it aims to describe the skills of students in solving problems of mathematical critical thinking independently. The research phase is divided into three, namely planning, implementation, and reporting. The technique of collecting data in the form of test. Data analysis techniques based on indicators of mathematical critical thinking skills that has been determined by researchers include: (1) identifying the concepts used in problem solving, (2) formulating an action (strategy, tactics, or approach) in solving problems, (3) providing arguments or reasons for answering and solving problems, and (4) evaluating evidence or decisions taken in solving the problem. The results obtained quantitatively show that the level of mathematical critical thinking skills of students in SMP Negeri 1 Ngamprah in solving the problems on Pythagoras material still falls into the low category. The evidence from the percentage of each indicator with the highest rate of only 61%. Some factors influence the level of students critical thinking skills, including the preparation of incomplete and appropriate strategies, provide arguments without showing the truth, and the students' accuracy in working on the questions.
