Sustainability in well-being embodies the interconnecting course of how various systems influence each other. The more strongly individuals subscribe to values beyond their immediate interests, that is, prosocial, collectivistic and biospheric values, the more likely they are to engage in environmental behaviour. Issue: Existing research has limited evidence on specific values of Malaysian’s personality and lifestyle (PL) that have significant impact on attitude and proenvironmental behaviour (AP). Purpose: This paper aims to verify the statistical predictability of AP based on PL. Approach: Multiple Correlation and Multiple Linear Regression were carried out to assess linear associations and parameters of linear equations to predict AP components based on PL items. Findings: AP components were moderately predictable by some of the PL items. Specifically, ‘ Urging media to raise environmental awareness ’ and ‘being mindful about environmental destruction’ were the two strongest predictors of AP.

Design sustains organisational well-being through strengthening space occupants’ empowerment, leading to better work performances. Issue: Existing research has limited empirical evidence on the impact of personal empowerment (PE) on organisational opportunity (OO). Purpose: This paper aims to verify the statistical predictability of OO based on PE. Awareness on the complex interdepending systems between individuals and their contexts is a fundamental understanding of sustainable well-being. Collectivist beliefs and biospheric values translate the normative behaviours when environmental decisions are being made. Issue: Existing research has limited empirical evidence on the impact of personality and lifestyle (PL) on interaction with nature (IN) for Malaysia. Purpose: This paper aims to verify the statistical predictability of IN based on PL. Approach: Multiple Correlation and Multiple Linear Regression were carried out to assess linear associations and parameters of linear equations to predict IN components based on PL items. Findings: IN components were predictable by the majority of the PL items and ‘feeling affected by the environmental loss of other countries’ was the strongest predictor of IN.

Issue: Existing research lack empirical evidence on the influence of personality and lifestyle (PL) on external condition (EC) to environmental behaviours. Purpose: This paper aims to verify the statistical predictability of EC based on PL. Approach: Multiple Correlation and Multiple Linear Regression were carried out to assess linear associations and parameters of linear equations to predict EC components based on PL items. Findings: EC components were predictable by some of the PL items. In particular, ‘urging media to raise environmental awareness’ was the strongest predictor of EC.

ABSTRAKPandemi COVID-19 telah secara signifikan mempengaruhi bagaimana kita menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari kita. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dampak perubahan kesehatan mental kepada perubahan aktivitas dan perjalanan saat pandemi di Indonesia. Convenient sampling digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah sampel dan pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online pada masa pandemi dengan kuesioner. Adapun metode regresi linear berganda digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil analisis menujukkan bahwa telah terjadinya perubahan aktivitas dan perjalanan akibat dari pandemi COVID-19. Tipe kesehatan mental seperti depresi dan bosan sangat berkaitan dengan penurunan pola perjalanan, sedangkan kelelahan berkaitan dengan berkurangnya kegiatan berbasis online. Studi ini juga menemukan bahwa masyarakat berpendapatan tinggi cenderung memiliki akses lebih baik terhadap platform online dan melakukan kegiatan online lebih banyak. Kelompok tersebut juga cenderung mengurangi perjalanan keluar tempat tinggal. Studi ini merekomendasikan pembenahan kualitas internet dan pembangunan fasilitas aktif (taman) dekat tempat tinggal untuk mengendalikan pandemi bersamaan dengan menjaga penurunan kesehatan mental.Kata kunci: COVID-19, Aktivitas, Perjalanan, Regresi linear berganda ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected how we do our daily lives. This study aims to investigate the effect of emotional well-being to the changes in activity and travel during COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Convenient sampling is used for dermine sampling size and online data collection was carried out during a pandemic using a questionnaire. Moreover, the multiple linear regression model is used for data analysis. It is found that there has been a change in activity and travel as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the analysis show that several issues related to mental health, such as depression and boredom, are strongly associated with the decrease of out-of-home activities, while fatigue is associated with a lower ICT activities. This study also found that high-income people, which have higher accessibility to ICT, tend to do more online activities and also reduce their out-of-home activities during pandemic. This study proposeimproving the quality of the internet and building active facilities (parks) near residential location to manage the pandemic while maintaining a decline in mental health.Keywords: COVID-19, Activity, Travel, Multiple linear regression

BACKGROUND: Heartburn (HB) and acid reflux (RF) in the non-pregnant population can cause nausea and vomiting; therefore, it is plausible that in women with nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP), HB/RF may increase the severity of symptoms.OBJECTIVE: To determine whether HB/RF during pregnancy contribute to increased severity of NVP.METHODS: A prospectively collected cohort of women who were experiencing NVP and HB, RF or both (n=194) was studied. The Pregnancy-Unique Quantification of Emesis and Nausea (PUQE) scale and its Well-being scale was used to compare the severity of the study cohort’s symptoms. This cohort was compared with a group of women experiencing NVP but no HB/RF (n=188). Multiple linear regression was used to control for the effects of confounding factors.RESULTS: Women with HB/RF reported higher PUQE scores (9.6±2.6) compared with controls (8.9±2.6) (P=0.02). Similarly, Well-being scores for women experiencing HB/RF were lower (4.3±2.1) compared with controls (4.9±2.0) (P=0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis demonstrated that increased PUQE scores (P=0.003) and decreased Well-being scores (P=0.005) were due to the presence of HB/RF as opposed to confounding factors such as pre-existing gastrointestinal conditions/symptoms, hyperemesis gravidarum in previous pregnancies and comorbidities.CONCLUSION: The present cohort study is the first to demonstrate that HB/RF are associated with increased severity of NVP. Managing HB/RF may improve the severity of NVP.

Appropriate design strategies can improve and sustain well-being through instilling the sense of empowerment, leading to positive relationships among space occupants. Issue: A large body of the literature has sought to provide a conclusive empirical assessment on the predictability of attitudes and behaviours in positive relationships (PR) through personal empowerment (PE). Purpose: This paper intends to determine the predictability of PR based on PE. Approach: Multiple Correlation and MultipleLinear Regression were conducted to estimate linear associations and parameters of linear equations to predict PR components based on PE items. Findings: Components of PR were predictable by the majority of the PE items and ‘monitoring behaviours to suit with situation’ was the strongest predictor of PR.

Objective: To assess the impact of on-call duties on veterinarians' job satisfaction, well-being and personal relationships.Design: Cross-sectional survey.Sample: The sample was obtained from Veterinary Information Network (VIN) members in private practice within the United States.Procedures: A link to an anonymous online survey was distributed via an email invitation to all Veterinary Information Network (VIN) members with access from August 15, 2017 to October 21, 2017.Results: A total of 1,945 responses were recorded. The majority of those who reported having on-call duties were female associates. Composite scales were created to assess the impact of on-call shifts on job satisfaction and well-being. Multiple linear regression was conducted and found that gender (p = 0.0311), associate status (p < 0.0001), and age (p = 0.0293) were all significantly associated with on-call related job satisfaction. Additionally, multiple linear regression found that gender (p = 0.0039), associate status (p < 0.0057), and age (p < 0.0001) were all significantly associated with on-call related well-being. On-call shifts were reported by many to have a negative impact on job satisfaction and well-being; this was especially pronounced for female associates. Females had on-call related job satisfaction scores that were, on average, 1.27 points lower than that of males (lower scores equates to lower job satisfaction). Further, females' average on-call related well-being scores were 1.15 points higher than that of males (lower scores equates to higher well-being).Conclusions and Clinical Relevance: This study suggests that on-call shifts have a negative impact on veterinarian job satisfaction, well-being and personal relationships. The negative impact on job satisfaction and well-being is greatest for female associates. Veterinary medicine has been identified as a stressful occupation that can lead to psychological distress. It is therefore important to critically assess current practices that appear to increase stress and reduce emotional well-being. For this reason, it is suggested that veterinary hospitals explore alternative options to traditional on-call shifts.
