ABSTRACTNecrotizing fasciitis (NF) is among the most challenging surgical infections faced by a surgeon. The difficulty in managing this entity is due to a combination of difficulty in diagnosis, and also of early as well as late management. For the patient, such a diagnosis means prolonged hospital stay, painful dressings, an extended recovery, and in some unfortunate cases even loss of limb or life. Necrotizing fasciitis is a fairly common condition in surgical practice in the Indian context resulting in a fairly large body of clinical experience. This article reviews literature on MEDLINE with the key words ′′necrotizing,′′ ′′fasciitis,′′ and ′′necrotizing infections′′ from 1970, as well as from articles cross referenced therein. The authors attempt to draw comparisons to their own experience in managing this condition to give an Indian perspective to the condition.

Based on a sample of 200 respondents empirical evidence validate an outstanding fit of multidimensional structure of 20 items of job crafting scale in the Indian context and the internal consistency indicates alpha coefficient (a = .870) is satisfactory for the whole job crafting scale. The study has showed the appropriateness of the job crafting of university teachers

The Indian context is one of religious and cultural pluralism and massive poverty. Despite the reverence for the earth ingrained by its major religions, it has suffered enormous ecological devastation. In the encyclical Laudato Si,’ Pope Francis may very well be addressing India directly. In this article the author highlights its relevance and stresses the necessity of entering into dialogue with the major religions and the poor. In this way, in solidarity with all people, we can strive to recover our God-given place as creatures that share a bond of kinship with all created realities, heal the wounds inflicted on creation and render justice to the victims of ecological degradation.
