Background Internet is a particularly dynamic way to quickly capture the perceptions of a population in real time. Complementary to traditional face-to-face communication, online social networks help patients to improve self-esteem and self-help. Objective The aim of this study was to use text mining on material from an online forum exploring patients’ concerns about treatment (antidepressants and anxiolytics). Methods Concerns about treatment were collected from discussion titles in patients’ online community related to antidepressants and anxiolytics. To examine the content of these titles automatically, we used text mining methods, such as word frequency in a document-term matrix and co-occurrence of words using a network analysis. It was thus possible to identify topics discussed on the forum. Results The forum included 2415 discussions on antidepressants and anxiolytics over a period of 3 years. After a preprocessing step, the text mining algorithm identified the 99 most frequently occurring words in titles, among which were escitalopram, withdrawal, antidepressant, venlafaxine, paroxetine, and effect. Patients’ concerns were related to antidepressant withdrawal, the need to share experience about symptoms, effects, and questions on weight gain with some drugs. Conclusions Patients’ expression on the Internet is a potential additional resource in addressing patients’ concerns about treatment. Patient profiles are close to that of patients treated in psychiatry.

An online community is one of the important ways for people with mental disorders to receive assistance and obtain support. This study aims to help users with mental disorders to obtain more support and communication through online communities, and to provide community managers with the possible influence mechanisms based on the information adoption model. We obtained a total of 49,047 posts of an online mental health communities in China, over a 40-day period. Then we used a combination of text mining and empirical analysis. Topic and sentiment analysis were used to derive the key variables—the topic of posts that the users care about most, and the emotion scores contained in posts. We then constructed a theoretical model based on the information adoption model. As core independent variables of information quality, on online mental health communities, the topic of social experience in posts (0.368 ***), the topic of emotional expression (0.353 ***), and the sentiment contained in the text (0.002 *) all had significant positive relationships with the number of likes and reposts. This study found that the users of online mental health communities are more attentive to the topics of social experience and emotional expressions, while they also care about the non-linguistic information. This study highlights the importance of helping community users to post on community-related topics, and gives administrators possible ways to help users gain the communication and support they need.

IntroductionSuicidal ideation and suicidal behaviours are common yet complex mental health presentations that can pose significant challenges for health professionals. The inability to accurately predict the individuals who may move from experiencing suicidal ideation and associated behaviours, to completing suicide, presents one such challenge. This can make it difficult to provide interventions and support to those most in need. Online health communities are one possible source of support for individuals who experience suicidal ideation and behaviours. These communities are becoming an increasingly popular way of accessing support, often with life-saving consequences. Within online communities, support is offered by various individuals including, in some instances, health professionals from various backgrounds, who work as online health community moderators. Given the growth of online communities and the increasing number of health professionals working as moderators, this scoping review seeks to map the literature that has focused on health professionals working as online community moderators, who interact with members experiencing suicidal ideation and behaviours. Mapping the existing literature offers benefits to both research and practice by identifying gaps in the research and providing a beginning knowledge base of current practice that can inform the training and development of health professionals working as community moderators.Methods and analysisThis scoping review will follow the methodological framework of Arksey and O’Malley, later adapted by Levacet al. To ensure appropriate rigour, this protocol uses the 20-item Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses and extension for Scoping Reviews. Literature will be identified using a search strategy developed in consultation with a specialist research librarian at the university where the researchers are employed. Ten multidisciplinary databases will be independently searched by two researchers, and both researchers will screen for inclusion, and undertake the data extraction. The first author will perform a quality assessment of the articles that are selected for inclusion. A second researcher will complete a random audit of 20% of the included articles to assess for quality and suitability in answering the research questions. The first author will complete the analysis and synthesis of the data. A numerical and narrative synthesis of the included studies will be provided.Ethics and disseminationThe scoping review has been deemed as being exempt from ethical review as no data will be collected from human participants. The results of the scoping review may be published in a peer-reviewed journal, thesis, presented at relevant conferences, and shared with relevant knowledge users.

METHODS In the fall of 2017, a series of 5 weeklong Facebook advertisement campaigns were launched targeting adults over the age of 18 years with an interest in lung cancer to increase opt ins to the LungCancer.net community (ie, the number of people who provided their email to join the site). RESULTS The advertisements released during this campaign had a sum reach of 91,835 people, and 863 new members opted into the LungCancer.net community by providing their email address. Females aged 55 to 64 years were the largest population reached by the campaign (31,401/91,835; 34.29%), whereas females aged 65 and older were the largest population who opted into the LungCancer.net community (307/863; 35.57%). A total of US $1742 was invested in the Facebook campaigns, and 863 people opted into LungCancer.net, resulting in a cost of US $2.02 per new member. CONCLUSIONS This research demonstrates the feasibility of using Facebook advertising to promote and grow online health communities. More research is needed to compare the effectiveness of various advertising approaches. Public health professionals should consider Facebook campaigns to effectively connect intended audiences to health information and support.

ABSTRAKSelf Help Group merupakan kelompok-kelompok termasuk orang dengan ikatan bersama yang secara sukarela datang bersama-sama untuk berbagi, menjangkau dan belajar satu sama lain dalam lingkungan yang terpercaya, mendukung dan terbuka (Knight, 2014). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis pengaruh Pengaruh Self Help Group  Terhadap Tingkat Harga Diri Keluarga Dengan Penderita Skizofrenia Di Poli Jiwa Puskesmas KalitiduDesain penelitian ii menggunakan Pre eksperiment dengan pendekatan one group pre-posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Seluruh keluarga penderita Skizofrenia di PKU Jiwa Kalitidu yang berjumlah 32 dengan teknik total sampling diperoleh 32 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Harga diri. Kemudian penelitian ini dianalisa menggunakan wilcoxon sign rank.Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari sebagian responden mempunyai tingkat harga diri rendah yaitu terdapat 18 (56,2%) responden sebelum di beri self help group sedangkan setelah diberikan Self Help group menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden mempunyai harga diri tinggi yaitu terdapat 25 (78,1%)  responden. Berdasarkan uji statistik dengan menggunakan SPSS uji Wilcoxon  Signed Ranks antara nilai pre test dan post test menunjukkan bahwa kondisi responden sebelum dan setelah dilakukan intervensi dengan self help group pada harga diri dengan  nilai uji wilcoxon  sebesar 0, 001 dengan nilai kesalahan sebesar   0,05.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh dari Self Help Group terhadap harga diri  keluarga dengan penderita depresi di poli jiwa puskesmas kalitidu Bojonegoro. Diharapkan para keluarga dengan penderita depresi di poli jiwa puskesmas kalitidu bojonegoro tetap aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan Self Help Group di poli jiwa puskesmas kalitidu bojonegoro sehingga keluarga mampu meningkatkan harga diri. Kata Kunci       : Self Help Group, Harga diri, Skizofrenia  ABSTRACTSelf Help Groups are groups including people with common ties who voluntarily come together to share, reach out and learn from each other in a trusted, supportive and open environment (Knight, 2014). The purpose of this study was to Analyze the effect of Self Help Group Influence on the Self-Esteem Level of Family with Schizophrenia Patients in Psychiatric Poly at Puskesmas Kalitidu. This research design uses Pre experiment with one group pre-posttest design approach. The population in this study were all families of Schizophrenics in PKU Kalitidu Mental, amounting to 32 with a total sampling technique obtained by 32 respondents. The instrument used was the self-esteem questionnaire. Then this study was analyzed using Wilcoxon sign rank.From the results of the study showed that more than a few respondents had low levels of self-esteem, there were 18 (56.2%) respondents before being given a self-help group while after being given a Self-Help group showed that most respondents had high self-esteem ie there were 25 (78 , 1%) of respondents. Based on statistical tests using the SPSS Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test between the pre test and post test values indicate that the condition of respondents before and after intervention with self help groups on self-esteem with Wilcoxon test values of 0, 001 with an error value of 0.05. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Self Help Group on the self-esteem of families with depressed patients at the mental health clinic of Bojonegoro kalitidu. It is expected that families with depression sufferers at the Kalitidu Bojonegoro mental health clinic remain active in participating in the Self Help Group activities in the mental health clinic at Kalitidu Bojonegoro so that families are able to increase self-esteem.Keywords         : Self Help Group, Self-Esteem, Schizophreni
